Hello guys,
I have realme X2 pro, 12 GB RAM, 256 GB storage
When first I bought the phone everything was great
Before a week timing, incoming calls volume is very low and somehow weak, I have to press my ear to hear the caller voice.
In speaker mode sound is fine.
I tried below solutions with no luck:
- turning on/off VOLT calls option
- restore sound features
- turning Dolby off
- restart the phone
Software version : ColorOS v6. 1
Android 9
Model : RMX1931
Appreciate your support and help
Sounds like a hardware problem imo mate.

After updating my P7-L10 to B852, in-call volume is lower (both in earpiece and when using headphones). Also, music and FM sound is lower now. This is one of the quietest phones I have ever had and i don't understand why Huawei is limiting the sound capabilities of this phone. Can anybody tell me what can I do to root this phone and change its volume settings? I have compared this to a Samsung A3 and now I can say I'm dissapointed by this Huawei...
Also, on my gf's Huawei P7-L10, sometimes when she calls somebody, the other party's voice has half of the normal speed, and the callers' voice speed is double, like "helium voice". It happens only on 3G, and all comes back to normal after restarting the phone. Any ideas?

I have seen in p8 threads that there are people who have the same problem like you. Huawei recommend that after every update, you make manually a factory reset. This helped on p8, i think it can help you too, but you will loose your data.
Try turning DTS mode on Settings => Sound => Headset DTS mode
I picked up a USA unlocked note 9 recently. The sound volume is mostly fine for most things (including notifications). However, the speaker phone is very soft. Is there anyway to boost the volume on the speaker phone ? I hear the s10+ is better but i just got this thing so would like to find a work around if one exists.
There's a few audio boosters in the playstore. Would advise to be cautious and don't go overboard.
which apps you are using for recording calls? (android 10)
L.E.
I found this info over internet... so this is a bad news!
Android does not support real two call recording anymore.
We would like to inform our users about call recording issues on Android 9 and above. No call recording app can record calls properly. This is due to limitations introduced with new versions of Android.
Android 10
.......
Call recording is only possible from the earpiece or loudspeaker on Android 10.
Call recording is good on loud speaker mode and acceptable over earpiece on some phones. Especially, when you are in a quiet place.
Try recording a call before giving up."[

This is provided as a default option in Note 9 - available in Android 10 too. One can choose the callers where auto call recording can be turned on. Audio quality is acceptable even without turning on speaker mode. SM-N960FZKHINS.

hello. i've tried almost all custom roms for the redmi 9 and none seem to have a fix on the low volume from the earpiece mic when making phone calls. Any fix or workaround for that is appreciated.
Did you try :
viper4android or on Google market are many amplifier apps
hi everybody ,

The problem of the very weak sound only on the ear side , not the speakers .
i didnt upgrade yet to miui 13 , waiting for twrp .
can someone help me with this case?

So basically calls are quiet? Yeah, my MI 11 is similar. People said, try cleaning the speaker grille.
Or, I've also seen a tip where you turn on Mono audio. Haven't tried that one.
But call volume is also awful on OnePlus.
Call volume in my experience:
Google pixels (3a, 4a): 11/10. Super loud, super clear.
Samsung (s7, note 9, note 10+): 10/10
Xiaomi: 6/10
OnePlus (7 pro, 9r, 9 pro): 1/10 (its absolutely awful)
I had the same problem on an s7 edge and on another low-end cell phone it wasn't loud, so I cleaned it with a child's toothbrush and everything was resolved
