some apps just turn on by itself. some apps will eventually close itself after a period of time, thats android. the best way to prevent that is by freezing the apps when u dont use them. u can freeze an app using titanium backup pro or another app called antek,if im not mistaken...
what exactly freeze means? for example if i freeze yahoo messenger so that it wont start at startup, will i be able to use it without defrosting it?
Mate best way is to use an application called autostarts
For system apps, use App Quarantine
For user apps, use AutoKiller

Hide apps?

Is there anyway way we can hide our apps on our phone?
I know there is the uninstall/disable option but I'm looking for the option to just hide the apps. I want to keep them installed, but just have them out of my app drawer. Ive used a couple app hiding programs but they disable the apps when they're hidden too.
I use App Quarantine, but you need root for that app.

Thanks, but its still disabling the app (which is what I don't want). Don't think I was clear on that.

Most third-party launchers allow this. I use Apex and you can basically hide an app from being show in the drawer; similar to what earlier versions of Android offered.

I'm trying to stay on the stock launcher which is why this is so annoying. I've been modding the stock launcher apk to make everything to my liking.
I actually like the stock launchers on Samsung phones but other phones I always use a different launcher. If I can't get, its not the end of the world.
( Just softbricked my phone again...Have to redo EVERYTHING lol  )
App to hide
Im using CCSWE App Manager from play store. It work fine for me, and hide( not freeze or uninstall) all apps i need.

[Q]Sense 6 camera missing

I just updated to Sense 6 by checking for new updates in my M7, but after the update was installed I noticed that the camera app is missing...
Every app and feature are there, just the camera app dissappeared. What should I do to fix it?
Thanks.
you should first check if you can open it by another programs help
Try to take a picture in whatsapp
There are apps that just add a basic shortcut to homescreen in google play cant remember the name sorry. (around 50-100kb)
If you are rooted check if apk is still there if not just grab a camera.apk from playstore or another rom.

Is there a way to see what app is using what permission at what time?

I would like to see if apps are using the microphone or camera while they are in the background, is there an app out there that can log that stuff?

Apps opps in play store would show you but I'm not sure you can currently use it without adb permissions added, or if it even works on nougat. It wouldn't log it, but you can see which app accessed something and how long ago

Missing app from app drawer.

This happen from few days. Didn't have such issue bfor. For example i install inShot, able to run/open from play store or from setting, but didnt shows on app drawer. This happens on stock launcher and Nova launcher too. Anyone with same problems?
I have not experienced this.
