Hello everyone,so i was busy doing some internet searching about our XZ2 with the bugs being experienced and found this while reading an article. Now i know this specific update is for the XZ2 Premium,but seeing that our device shares the same build names with the Premium,i am wondering now if there is an update out there already.
I have had a look on Xpericheck and havent found this particular build listed for any of the XZ2 Premium devices there,so i am now wondering if anyone has more info on this. Is there an update being released in Japan currently or not? I have tried to include a screenshot but am unable to for some reason

Anyone here successfully installed it Canadian Sonata, the update etc from myhyundai dont work coz it goes by VIN. I tried to check everywhere, no software tweak to make it work so xda is the only and last hope

Hi everyone !
I just add a misadventure with my Honor 5C (bricking it, basically). Since I didn't remember which firmware was installed beforehand, I went ahead and downloaded the latest build number proposed by looking for NEM-L51 in Huawei Firmware Finder. I didn't have any OS installed on my phone after bricking it, so I couldn't do an OTA and had to download a full version instead.
Now I have the build number NEM-L51C432B141. I know for sure I hadn't this version before, since I noticed some minor changes in the settings. Now is it a good thing ? Why didn't my phone updated to this version before ? Was it even supposed to ? Everything seems to work just fine, but...
I'm pretty confused about this whole build stuff anyway. What does it refer to ? I read somewhere that the C432 part had something to do with the location... If so, what about the rest of the number ?
And how to know which build I should be using ? If a new one is available ? Should I download them manually or just let my phone update at its own pace ? So many questions I'd be glad to find answer to.

I just got an update this morning to my US model running the UK firmware. How do I know what changed? I don't see anything different. Is there a version log showing the changes somewhere?

I'm an absolute newcomer to Huawei, as I had Motorola devices since 2014 :silly: I hope to adapt fast to this new device
For now, I want to start slowly. I found the device I bought is currently on Android 5.0.1, and found there is a way to update it to Android 6.0 officially. However, the tutorials what I could find on internet went into a death path, as the websites or files doesn't exist.
I'm currently using an ALE-L21, Compilation ALE-L21C40B181. I found there are differences between compilations and things like that, so... can someone bring me a hand with this? :victory:

Just install latest twrp and follow persona's B638 rom tutorial în this general thread.
Will the xz2 get an update to android 10 ?
Didn't find any infornation saying there will be an upate or not.
Found only a maybe.

I think XZ2 series will get Android Q before JUNE 2020. I'm not pretty sure.
The xperia XZ Premium got both Oreo & Pie update. So, XZ2 still has chance haha.
One more thing, xperia models which released in Feburary usually get Two Android version update. Because Sony guaranteed that all Phones will get two years of Android update(include security patches or firmware etc.) Flagship smartphone deserved, isn't it ?
I heard that XZ1 series will not get Android Q.(I don't know why, maybe 2 years of update roadmap has stopped?It's a pity:crying: )

Yes
The past showed us that every snapdragon xperia except a single one received 2 major android upgrades.
