[S10e][Bluetooth] can't receive any file using BT - Samsung Galaxy S10 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I try to transfer photos from my Galaxy watch to my S10, but without success ... (in the other direction, it works without problem)
The tests I have already done:
- install different explorers on the watch > same result
- connected my S10 to my wife's P30 Pro > same result
Then I cut the BT, cleared the cache and deleted the data from the BT application.
After that, I reactivated the BT and reconnected the watch and the P30.
From there, transfers between the P30 and S10 worked in both directions and the same for the watch!
So I thought I had fixed the problem ...
This morning I wanted to transfer a photo from my Galaxy watch to my S10e again and it no longer works .... I did the same attempt again by deleting the data and the cache of the BT application, restarted the phone and the watch, but nothing to do ....
I even made a Wipe Cache Partition, but that didn't change anything ....
I specify that the "dialogue" is established between the watch and the phone, when I send the photo from the watch, there is the notification on the phone (and I can see the watch in the Galaxy Wearable app)
The only difference is that when the transfer works, there is a request for acceptance on the phone then, after validation, the transfer is executed.
Conversely, when it does not work (as currently), I have a notification on the phone of a transfer from the watch, but not the famous validation request ....... and after a moment I have the message of failure ....
And today, I made a factory reset on the watch and my S10e, and after restoring everything, the problem is still the same.... I can't receive file on my S10 by bluetooth...
Any one can give me some advice?
Thanks...

Hello, does anyone have this problem?

Sadely I haven't any smartwatch to test that but I would like to know : which firmware did you flash to get One UI 2.1 on your device ?
I red in your signature that you're currently running U4CTC9 firmware version that isn't rolling out yet in France on XEF CSC (France unbranded like me xD)

that's right, i used the latest DBT
DBT is a multi-CSC firmware (XEF is include) and if your current CSC is XEF, after flashing this one with the file named "Home_CSC_xxx" you'll keep your XEF CSC.
If you're French, you can have a look at here.

Hello,
The issue seems to have been fixed with the latest update of the Galaxy Wearable app....

[Q] SGH-1747 mobile data connection problems

Hey guys,
First of all, sorry but I'm a complete newbie with this phone, however I've tried to do the necessary research and I think i've hit a block. First of all, my phone is a SGH-1747 (from the title) Samsung Galaxy s III 4G LTE or just Samsung Galaxy s III LTE which is network unlocked with original carrier being AT&T. I updated the phone to Jelly Bean 4.1.1 via Samsung Kies and everything went smoothly. It was originally my aunt's and I asked her to ship it to me here in Australia. So my current provider is Vodafone Australia and yes I do have a micro sim and can use the phone for almost everything except for the problem that I'm experiencing.
Okay so firstly I thought my problem was that everything I go on google play store via my mobile data (not WIFI), I was unable to update / download certain apps and it would give me a "package file is invalid" error. I've done researched tried clearing cache, cookies, data but nothing seemed to work. I also thought it might be something to do with only unable to download apps that are a certain size, seeing as I could download SOME smaller apps (like google apps updates, but not all) but it got to the point where I tried accessing apps that require an internet connection, and it won't load because of error "not connected to internet or you might be disconnected". At all times I am able to access the internet via internet browser and even search for apps via google play store. I also thought it might be app-related, so i tried different apps, no bingo. I can however download all these apps / updates when I am connected to WIFI at my house, can even access the games. Also thought it might be related to Vodafone not supporting 4G so I tried to change around the network modes but It didn't really make much of a difference... I've also tried factory resetting many times with no bingo.
So now i'm at the point where I don't know what's wrong with it. Do you guys have any ideas? Even vodafone people were unable to find a solution after spending about an hour trying to fix it with them.

Question about Korean DMB tv system on Samsung phones

I'm hoping someone can help me understand how this DMB TV system works, because in my quest to figure out how to get T-Mobile's wifi calling to work on the 950N's stock firmware I seem to have stumbled upon a fix out of blind luck and want confirmation that this could definitely have been the cause of it not working.
Basically, I've been slamming my head into the keyboard for months because I copied everything obviously related that the F variant phones have which is absent on the N variants (as this wifi calling thing seems to be the case for several previous Samsung phones like the S8+, S8, S7, etc) but for a yet-unknown reason the IPSec VPN connection it needs could never connect.
I know the DMB app doesn't work outside of Korea because it is geo-locked and doesn't work "when roaming" (which in this case really just means not in South Korea on a South Korean provider's network and SIM), so I deleted the apk as part of de-bloating, but I didn't even think to look at any other software components until last night. While trying to gleam some wifi-calling insight staring at some logcat lines I noticed that GameManager kept trying to scan the Catlog app (the logcat viewer I'm using) but failed because the app is not present...because I deleted the Game Manager apk's as well - which got me wondering how this thing was showing up in the logcat to begin with....
which led me to find gamemanager.jar sitting in /system/framework - so I promptly deleted that, saw a couple .jar's in there with DMB in the name and deleted those as well, rebooted into TWRP to clear cache and dalvik cache, and upon booting up the Wifi Calling notification popped up almost immediately.
I've rebooted several times, made test calls in and out at home and at work and it's working just fine now.
So like the thread title says - how does this DMB thing work and why would deleting it have 'fixed' the wifi calling?

Where do you live?
SPO2 depends on your firmware i believe. Only BP/ECG can be installed via TPK/Samsung health apk.
I'm in France and cant get SPO2 neither, it is country based.

If you're in France and you want SP02 to work, you can try resetting your watch (make a backup first) and choose e.g. Spain as region.
Spain supports Samsung Pay and SP02. And as you said, BP/ECG can be sideloaded to the Watch.
I live in Holland, but chose Spain as region. I have everything working (SPay, SP02, BP and ECG).
Thank you so much @congusto, it's work for me, in France, that was a few week that i'm looking to activate this feature so i'm happy to read your tips.

Yes i already tried this, but i'm on note10+ with french samsung store, and my gw3 is LTE version. I had resetted mobile lte when i did watch reset wifi / BT off. Still didnt work.
Maybe i did something wrong...
If you have a clear walkthrough i'd be happy to test again.
Maybe need to change samsung store on N10+ to spain too?
You need this 2 apk :
https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1u6qpj4Qq4wXDXu6yla50_bji0bAi4naX
When you have reset your watch with spanish region set, install this 2 apk and the widget will be in your watch

Maybe for BT version, but what about LTE?
When you did this, did you disable wifi bluetooth etc?
Do you have a Samsung phone? Did you reinstall Samsung health?
Want to make sure that i will not reset for nothing again ?
Thanks
I've got LTE version of GW3 and a Note 20 Ultra, not need to reinstall Healt.
I've do this yesterday, and trust me i was very boring to reset the watch, but it's work good.

Did all this but no widget.
I remember having it long time ago, but it would not show up on watch (french region).
Now i dont see it anymore in Wearable.
There must be a walkthrough to have it work... Maybe it's because Samsung Health is french store version. Maybe need to connect 1st time to the watch with no internet connectivity on the phone until all steps are done. Dunno, this drives me nuts!
i will give you the step by step in few moment...
I'd do last night so it's no pssible that don't work.
Did you have install the two apps ? Did you had activate ECC ?
When ECC is activated, go in Galaxy Wearable and let's see the new widget are comming, ECC, blood pressure and SPo2, just add, save and see to your watch...
Here you can follow every step, title is "Galaxy Watch 2" but it's exactly the same for GW3

Yup i've had ecg/bp for over a month already.
But no o2 widgets shows up.
Did you reset Galaxy wearable app?
The account im logued onto Wearable has parameter region France (same as the phone).
I think there's some region conflict but cant figure what, something that doesnt allow me to see this widget. I might try again without Samsung health app on phone just to check... damn
Is you watch connected to LTE? Mine is (disabled though for the reset).

So, my watch is LTE version, and connected.
Did you follow the steps in the Youtube video ?
i repeat one more time, after install the two apps, try ECG, it's work good, and go on your phone, check update Samsung Health (ver 6.12.1.001), Wearable (2.2.34.20091461) + Watch3 Plugin (ver 2.2.09.20090251) and watch firmware (R845FXXU1BTG7). After this, in Galaxy Wearable on your phone, let's see the list of widget available, and you'll see, when scrolling down, Samsung Health "oxygène dans le sang" , put the + button on the left and save, wait until watch and phone sync. and that's all.
That's exactly what i'm doing for have this feature.
@adfree that's why we use this method, to activated this feature, that's what i do last night and it's ok for me.

I think the LTE version of the watch is the problem. I have the BT version and all I have to do to change the region to a selected group of Western Europe countries is a reset. The watch asks which region you want when it restarts after the reset. LTE is not supported in Holland, where I am, so I guess the group of countries to chose from is even more limited (one only?) when you have an LTE version.
It's not the phone CSC I think. My Note 10+ is on PHN (Holland) and that is irrelevant for the choice I got on the watch.
There is no matter with LTE version because i've do it on mine.
Just follow the step in right order, and that's work find.
I've found the solution in a mix of a topic here on XDA forum, and the Youtube video that i linked here.
Work for everybody, no conflict with other region of the phone because only watch region is important.
So, for everybody want to have SPo2 available, just follow the step, that's all. You don't need to look for a problem, there don't have anyone.

Of course i did follow, i have also the same versions as yours. the widgets BP and ECG appear but not Oxy.
But blood oxygen will not show up, whereas it was fine before. Did you use language : France (France) and Region : Spain ?
I remember that i used to see this widget some time ago, when i had chosen region France i could see Oxy in Wearables but wouldnt show up on watch.
Now i just dont see it anymore in Wearable.
I"m going to restart and retry over... Been like 4 times already
Anyways thanks much for your help. Hope i get it solved.

Not a problem with region, read above
Region Spain and language French, that's right.
When your watch is reset, for the first connection with your phone, in wearable you need to add new device, and appair as a new, of course. And when it's connected, you can run save. After install the 2 apk, run Samsung Healt Monitor freshly install, from your watch, launch ECG config, run one time, go to your phone apps Wearable, widget etc... That's what i do.
I can try to make real tuto, maybe a video to explane all process step by step, but really, i don't want to reset my watch now 'cause everything is done, save and more but if that's the only solution, i think i can do.

Flashing SM-R840X

I just bought a Samsung G3 which was a store demo, the phone boots and works OK, but I'm fearing I might not be getting the full potential the phone has to offer and I also hate seeing "Retail Mode " in the menu. I was wondering if I could flash the unit from SM-R840X to the latest firmware for R840, this unit is not LTE, just BT
Thanks in advance
Regards
No risk no fun...
Try first Combination Firmware from SM-R840...
Then in second step Stock Firmware from SM-R840...
If out of luck...
You need USB cable... if your project fail...
Good Luck.
Best Regards
Are you referring these files?
Thanks for the help
I've flashed all the files, my 840 BT was XAR now is ITV. No update from BTG6 despite all around the world they are 2 or 3 different updates after that. Anyone with the R840XXU1BTK1 or more? I don't want to pay easyfirmware cause I have the hardware, I have the firmware, I assume is ridiculous to pay for an update Samsung should delivery to all of us.
So I'm trying to connect to ODIN3 without success, using running Win10, firewall /antivirus etc disabled, , ODIN3 launched as Admin, watch developer mode ON, debug mode ON, set watch to connect wireless, and I get CONNECTION FAIL: CONNECTION TIMED OUT (110) anyone care to guess what I'm doing wrong
Thank you
Have u set it up as WiFi Always in the Tizen connections menu ?
Does anyone have the firmware for this?
I do have a connection via NetOdin3!

Question S21 Ultra [Magisk Root] - Cant pair with Samsung Watch G3

Good Evening,
Unfortunately, despite intensive research and various users with the same problem (On various websites and platforms) I have not yet found a solution, so I hope that someone here can help me.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Ultra S21, (SM-G998B/DS) and a Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 (SM-R845F). Unfortunately, since rooting with Magisk, I am no longer able to connect these 2 devices. My Galaxy Buds Pro work fine and can be connected, only the watch unfortunately not.
As shown in this video, the pairing process gets stuck at this exact point. (
) only unfortunately it can't be fixed like in this or other videos. I have now tried I think everything possible, the app Samsung Gear already 100x uninstalled, stopped, data deleted, the plugins the same, the clock removed from the connections and reconnected, etc.. Even a tutorial with Russian APK apps from Samsung while AFWall prevents an update I have tried, even reset to factory settings and also geflushed with the original firmware, All without success.
I have tested it on my girlfriend's device, the same model only the 128GB version, there it worked without problems. Since the Samsung Health services no longer work since Magisk (A service is not running, so the error message) I suspect that it may have to do with it.
Did anyone have an idea, a solution or suggestion how I can connect my phone with the clock?

Mine connects so very well
Try this in a terminal like termux:
Code:
su
mount -o remount,rw /vendor
i=`grep -lr 'security.wsm' /vendor/etc/vintf` && [ ! -z $i ] && [ $i != *.bak ] && cp --preserve=all $i $i.bak && sed -i '/<.*security.wsm.*/,/<hal format="hidl">/d' $i
mount -o remount,ro /vendor
(Taken from https://github.com/Magisk-Modules-Repo/BluetoothLibraryPatcher)
Make sure your vendor partition isn't read only or full and backup all data in case something goes wrong, as they can brick the device.
It worked on my A72 and I don't think they are too different, so give it a try.
