One question .. but the custom roms and firmware for moto z3 play XT1929-4 are compatible for moto z3 XT1929-17 ???
There are android 10 custom roms for moto z3 XZ1929-17 for example pixel experience miui 11 etc etc

In LOS Official ROM and the stock Motorola firmware are possible use the fingerprint scan as navigation, there's a module or anyone knows how to port this to A1 firmware?
My device is Moto X4, but the Moto G5, G6, etc has this function except for the Android One variants.

I own a Moto G5s Plus and it doesn't even have OTA updates to Android 9. So I'd say probably not. I know that the Z4 and Z3 Play got updates to Android 10, with Android 11 being planned for it.

Yes it will atleast receive some custom roms for android 11
LineageOS 18 with Android 11 is starting their work this afternoon

Android 11 build started for g5s plus...
Wait for 2 months for official build
Despite this device having treble support, I just cannot get Android 12 GSI to boot. Does anyone know how to fix this?
thats because its only made for google pixel phones at the moment. moto z3 only has android 11 roms so far. i don't think anyone has made a android 12 one yet.
