[screen protector] Supershieldz glass plate for G8 Power - Motorola One Hyper Accessories

It covers 99.5% of viewing area but it must put it on right place.
Supershieldz has one for One Hyper but I found it's too long

Attached Pics:
a. the flat bottom screen protector.
b. the view of the camera from the back. As can be seen it is very open and does not affect exposure.
c. the packaging (plastic)
Review:
Price: £1.89 + £ree p&p
(not the cheapest case i've ever bought: £0.10 for Crystal N95 Case + Screen Protector, but hey what can you do )
The case took about 10 days to be delivered.
The packaging was alright not a cardboard box but the contents were not affected in anyway and for free delivery what can you expect
I was happy that they sent 2 screen protectors, as can be seen in the pics they are not the same. One of which protects some protection to the bottom of the phone beside the keys. One of which does not. I have not yet attached the screen protectors as I do not see as being currently necessary and I'm rubbish at applying screen protectors ( Get bubbles everywhere )
The case itself has a nice orange stitching and a soft velvety interior finish. The velvet itself can be seen to be a dust magnet. I have tested out the compass and the magnetic clasp does not affect it.
Update 24/06/10:
As highlighted by JonPickles below the plastic case securing the phone to the case is tight. I am slightly worried whether repeated removal and installation of the phone will cause damage to the paint of the casing. Also if the phone is not taken out properly the tight fitting can cause the battery cover to come of. As of now I have not found a good way to remove the phone. I am wondering it repeated removal will losen the fitting making it easier to remove. If anyone else has this case or any other tight fitting cases please share any tips on how best to remove it.

I didn't like the leather insert into which the phone goes. But everyone has their own tastes.
Great case for that price, it's really cheap and do the job perfectly, thanks for this share
Just got it
It barely fits the phone with INVISIBLE FULL BODY ZAGG SHILED ! My zagg shield got ripped of my phone and destroyed zagg shield. + it did not fit. My batteri cover came of and its really hard to take the phone out , dont like it at all
Thanks for the info m4sta2k, I'll stay clear of this one then.

The same story - slightly different characters:
Beware of snap-on hard cases! I mean you have to be very careful and do not go for the cheapest ones. My sad experience with one of them, very similar to this one brought me to this rather obvious conclusion. What happened is that in 3 weeks gray paint/covering of my HD2 was damaged wherever it touched the sturdily snapping hard case - on the corners battery cover (where the gray plastic body of HD2 slightly is raised comparing to lower battery cover) - I will post photos of it.
Then I ordered a leather pull-case, and i am happy with it. Here is my positive review for it

Body Glove Snap on case

Just noticed that body glove has released a snap on case for the focus. Its a bit price at $30 but should be as solid as all their other cases. I might go ahead and buy one with my next check...
You can find it on their website.
just did a quick search on ebay and found the body glove snap case for $17.95. Pulled the trigger and got it. I think its a great deal for that price.
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-BODY-GLOVE-...ccessories&hash=item3363344bb7#ht_1685wt_1142
Just got mine today directly from Body Glove. Non-slip texture, but slides into a pocket easily. Fit is perfect. The front of the case does not interfere with typing, nor does it make the screen seem small or deeply recessed (like my wife's Otterbox for iPhone); it's has a very narrow lip around the front edge. Volume, camera, and power buttons are recessed sufficiently to avoid accidental presses, while still being easily accessible. I like the fact that phone is bulked up a bit, but it's not overboard.
4.5/5 stars.

so the buttons are cut out, as opposed to covered up? Can you post a few pictures?
Sorry, my camera is in the case.
The buttons are not covered by the case.
The photos in this review (for the Droid X version of the case) are fairly representative.
http://www.androidcentral.com/droid-x-case-review-body-glove-snap-case
On the Focus case, there are two rectangular openings: one vertically oriented for the camera, and one horizontally oriented for the speaker. The camera opening is slightly oversized, i.e. the case opening is about 3 mm wider than the camera assembly, which may be good thing with a flash camera (no shadows).
Unlike the Droid X case which has notches in the perimeter, the opening on the front of the case is uninterrupted and follows the contours of the phone. It's less noticeable than the Droid X case.

5 Stars!
Had mine for a few days and payed the 2 day shipping and do not regret my purchase. I have finally found a great case. It gives the phone some weight and feels very durable. The holes are cut out perfectly. The front lip around the case is very thin and protrudes just enough to protect the glass.
I would rate the case 5 stars out of 5 and recommend it to anyone.
It also comes with the belt clip if you want to use it and it acts like a kickstand (like the EVO) for watching media etc.

Thanks, great and well done post!
does anyone have this case they would like to sell? I can't find it in stock anywhere since it's so old...........

Screen Protector

Inside: Since I have ordered the extended armor, it comes with protector for most part of the phone. The front protectors pieces come in one sheet and the rear protector pieces are grouped on another. The following image is a sample of the rear protector pieces. I was too excited and never took picture of both of them.
Installation:
When applying this screen protector, water is required. The instruction also call for a little dish soap and battery removal. Also, a 24hours wait period before using your phone again.
Review:
The screen protector portion fits prefect on my phone. It's rather stickier than the following one. However, it does stop my finger print to be clearly visible.
For the body armor, because of the unique curve on our xt720, it is rather difficult to apply the side invisible shield. If you have misalign the protector on the side, the protector will slowly comes off.
Mirror screen protector and clear screen protector from Ebay (those relatively more economic ones from Hong Kong):
What comes in the bag (Clear type)
These screen protectors claim to fit. However, does not. When apply to the phone. An air bubble is created at about where the "gallery" button is. Finger print is also clearly visible. The feeling is not as sticky as the Clear Protector.
For the mirror style:
Under sunlight, it is nearly impossible to see the screen. It does what it advertised, mirror .
I do not have a photo with this on my phone. Forgot to take a pic before taking the protector off.
At the end, you get what you paid for. For the same price of the clear screen protector from Clear Protector LLC., you can get like 10 of the other ones from Hong Kong. Installing the clear protector on the side of our phone is tricky (because of the curve). The clear protector for the screen is supreme to the other two types that I got from ebay.
PS. If I have violated any terms, please let me know. This is my first thread.

A month with SlickWraps Carbon. (REVIEW)

So its been a little over a month since I bought my AT&T S6 Edge and covered it with a Spigen Inc, curved crystal screen protector ($12.99)and a SlickWraps Carbon black skin ($20 full kit) So I figured I should do a review for people who might be on the fence about ordering either of these products.
The Screen protector:
While not tempered glass like i am used to on my previous phones, it has held up to being stuffed in my pocket with keys, and slid across my desk more than a few times. I don't know what the protector is made from but it has a slick rubbery type feel to it, still very smooth and not sticky at all. The protector has a slight edge curve to each side which made the install a little bit of a pain because they kept trying to stick while I was lining up the top and bottom of the screen.
The install was simple enough. I do my cover installs in a closed bathroom after running the shower on hot for a couple minutes (seems to pull everything in the air down to the ground with the steam)
The Wrap:
I am amazed at the quality of craftsmanship that SlickWraps put into these skins! Every hole lined up perfectly with no gaps or over lapping of sensors. The only thing that isn't visible is the captive back lights. But the buttons still respond perfectly through the wrap. Having cutouts there would feel weird and look funny anyway. It looks clean the way it is and I can appreciate that. Even though I was installing it over the screen protector since everything lined up it wasn't an issue.
(the sim card slot is cut out, you can remove the card I just put the dot over the key hole)
The install was also simple, line up one side, press the edge then line up the other side and smooth it all out. I had to put it on and take it off a couple times to get it perfect but with the holes cut to such close tolerances I was not expecting it to be perfect the first time. After sticking the front and back on I turned off the phone and hit it with a hair dryer on high for 5 or 6 minute and pressed down all the edges and rubbing back and forth to smooth it all out. The top and sides were a little trickier. As you can see from the pictures I messed up around the power button. I didn't heat up the part around the button so when I rubber it out to smooth it The area around the button on one side "stretched" and I was forced to cut it off. That was my fault I started to rush and missed it with the blow dryer.
Wrap and Screen protector Combo:
Ease of install: 9/10
Durability: 10/10 (Based on 34 days installed)
Longevity: 10/10 (based off 34 days installed)
Look: 9/10
Quality: 10/10
For those who thing $35 is to expensive for a wrap and screen protector:
I bought a cheapy wrap from Ebay for my wife's Edge and the holes didn't line up, the round cutouts were square, the edge portions were just a straight piece of carbon fiber sticker with no cut outs for buttons, the top and bottom didn't contour with the edge, and the wrap was about 1 cm to long! but hey, they gave me a link for a carbon fiber wallpaper on a card...
I probably don't need to talk about cheap screen protectors and how they are straight cut and don't like to bend and end up peeling off...
Thanks for the review. I'm going to try this out for my edge with the leather slickwrap and the same screen protector with confidence now. I only hope this doesn't look too crazy with my navor wallet case, and that the cards in the case don't dent the screen protector (since you mentioned it had a rubbery kind of give to it).

TGSP (Tempered Glass Screen Protectors) Ideal for LOCA Installation

I contacted many AliExpress sellers and bought many TGSP's to find ones that fit the following criteria:
No ugly dot-matrix grid on the glass
No paint (black, white, gold, silver, etc) around the edges
Large cut out around the camera and sensor array at the top
Case Friendly
These are the products that I can confirm fit the criteria above:
WEIYU 3D Curved Edge Not Full Cover Tempered Glass Screen Protector For Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Protective Film Case friendly
MKSUP 3D Curved Case Friendly Full Cover Tempered Glass Screen Protector For Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Note8 Protective Glass film
IMIDO Case Friendly Tempered Glass For Samsung Galaxy Note8 3D Curved Screen Protector Protective Film For Samsung Galaxy Note 8
All three of these "different" sellers are selling THE EXACT SAME PRODUCT. All three products came in the exact same shipping styrofoam brick, exact same wipes and exact same dust/mounting stickers. All three TGSP's are identical in every way. So, just buy the cheapest one.

There are colour options for each one right under the price - each is available in clear, as well as other colours.
Thanks for this, but the weiyu looks like it has a dot matrix . the other 2 look ok, but i bet they have the dots too. great find for the clear top and bottom though.

Viewed from my phone, the color option was definitely not apparent at a glance. The "select" button seemed to be for shipping options and not for color choice.
Anyway, those are not full coverage, they leave a gap on the sides which is one thing I absolutely hate on my current install. I don't mind the gap on the top and bottom but jeez at least cover the sides....plus those rounded corners like the Whitestone domes.
But all in all good find for people who don't really mind those short comings and great price too even though it's a month long ship date. I would have probably ended up buying 1 of each to test it wasn't for the expected ship dates.

Fair play - yeah, if you clicked on the lower bar, where it says "Color/Shipping cost:free shipping ... Select" I think you'd get the colour options.
I agree with the edge coverage - I prefer a "de-domed" whitestone for exactly that reason - it covers ever so slightly more on the edges than a "standard" sized TG protector. The top section is also good as it doesn't cover any of the sensors.
If anyone does find a protector that covers the edges further than a whitestone, by all means tell xda about it!
Awesome! exactly what i was looking for.
Thanks OP

I don';t believe you will ever find a glass screen protector that covers edges further than the Whitestone - and most are going to be partial coverage on the sides that you mentioned. The reason is the difficulty of getting the glass to hold firmly to the screen and not lift off when you attach a case. Cases are going to push up on the screen - if it isn't glued down with super glue it will push u p - pure physics - so you have to find a middle ground that gives you the best coverage you can find - while still holding firmly to the screen without lifting off when you put on a case....The whitestone uses the liquid adhesive to hold firmer to the screen - and thus can be used with a wider variety of cases without the lift off happening...but even with whitestone you get some lift off with some cases.... I found a great screen protector on Amazon - by "AMFILM" that holds very well - gives partial coverage on the sides and works well with a number of different cases....
I think we are have abouot the best we can get right now - Whitestone for those that want the most - and others like the AMFILM I mentioned (Or the ones in the OP) for those that don't like doing the Whitestone install....

I own all of them and none of them have the dot-matrix grid. That's why I bought like 6-7 of these, just to find out myself even though I contacted each seller. However, these sellers are like "online swap meet" sellers, so I didn't trust their word.

i wouldn't pay $50 for Whitestone dome when I've done it my self for a fraction of the cost.
I guess the type of protector i am willing to use depends on the type of cases I use.
and I believe I've found a protector that covers the top, bottom and sides the way I would like it to....haven't installed it yet though but it's looking promising.
i'm currently using a magglass which actually covers more than the Whitestone dome but less than I wanted and it doesn't have that ugly round cut at the bottom and top like the Whitestone. i'm not the type to use bigassss ridiculous cases unless i expect my phone to fall 20ft. a moderate case will protect your phone from a 4 foot fall.
Honestly i don't really care about "wide variety" of cases, i use only a few types of cases so i could careless about the rest......just my preference.
so i absolutely refuse to find a "middle ground". I currently use the spigen neo hybrid and this new glass I have seems to fit perfectly almost no gap at bottom or sides judging from what i see (I guess I'll really know once I remove the current one and install it), i would guess the rhinoshield would also work.
As soon as they ship the glue cleaner i'll be doing the new install, probably do a video of it or something.

Yeah, this is the one I bought recently but haven't installed yet.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075CZV6YQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
Note, if you use big cases or cases with weird lips I highly doubt this protector will fit unless the case's lip goes over the protector (my idea is that if the case fits over the protector then it won't push it up). I don't use bulky cases so that's not really a concern to me....... here wondering if the rhinoshield case would really fit even though it has a deep lip but so far I think it would as i assume the protector would go under the lip.
as soon as amazon ships a couple things to me I'll be doing the install and some tests and to see how it fits with this waterproof case i'm buying.
I got this one Check this out at Amazon.com
Galaxy Note 8 Tempered Glass Screen, 0.33mm 9H 3D Full Coverage edge to edge fingerprint screen protector for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0759V5CVS/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_JUWVzb0E5WFFQ
For one it went as close to edge to edge as I could find. It does have the dot matrix but it's not noticeable. It also covers most of the top and I'll post pics here
Sorry ignore these pics wrong ones

We ordered this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/50ml-Super-...-adhesive-for-Cell-Phone-Screen-/311578428856
We took the screen dimensions of the display and multiplied it by the thickness of the TGSP, so we got cubic millimeters. Then, converted that to milliliters and used an old teeth whitening syringe I had lying around to use the correct amount of LOCA. We used thin, clear packaging tape to seal the buttons and holes.

Did it make a big difference compared to a non-LOCA install of the TGSP's you listed?
