Was my favourite rom on nexus 5

Can anyone confirm if this has CRT off animation?

I couldn't get it to boot. It just loops back to recovery. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, as I've done this 100's of times. So I wiped, installed AOSiP and it booted right up. I perform the same procedure for all ROMs.
I'll have to futz with it some more.

That explains that. I saw your February patch question, then your edit, and assumed it was on Feb. I hadn't run into this problem before, as I tend to swap ROMs with matching patches. I now understand the cause and effect. Thanks.

Try clean flash...

Damn I miss Bliss... If only this was for the Fajita (6T)

Very good performance so far, battery is also good. Loving it!
Is there any chance to add the "Raise to wake up/Hand wave" ambient display gestures just like other roms?

EDIT: Weather services also don't work.. (Lockscreen)

Installing latest, Pico gapps gives error stating not enough space on system partition. Not sure why.

1. - Be sure you have unlocked Bootloader.
2. - Be sure you have a latest recovery installed(OrangeFOX 10 or TWRP 3.3.1)
3. - Download the latest Bliss Rom & the latest GApps package
4. - Boot into recovery
5. - Backup your current ROM
6. - Wipe all except micro-sd and internal storage
7. - Format /Data partition (This will erase all info in your internal storage, so make backup before)
8. - Reboot to recovery again (Important!)
9. - Install rom, Gapps and Magisk, if you face error 20 by installing Gapps just reboot to recovery and try again.
First boot may take up to 5 minutes. This is due to optimization process.​

Thanks for the reply. So, I can flash this ROM using TWRP regardless of what my current firmware is if I wipe everything before flashing? Sorry, new to Xiomi devices. Fixing this phone so that I can give it to someone who needs one.

I recently reinstalled one for somebody else to use and I first flashed the latest stock MIUI using miflash and then flashed twrp, the ROM, gapps etc. Just to ensure that the phone was using the latest firmware.

Can anybody confirm Android Auto correct behavior with this ROM + BitGapps?

I've got a bootloop of sorts.
I wiped everything then flashed bliss and bitgapps and xiaomi firmware. nothing else.
nothing else done. but it reboots a few times after going through the bliss logo animation.
then apparently black screen.. maybe launcher crashes?

You don't need to flash Xiomi firmware. Flash ROM and Gapps only and nothing else.

How long does the battery last?

System setting stopped working when going to 'System'

I have versions from 2020-01-12 + BiTGApps-arm64-10.0.0-v0.6. When I click the gestures in the settings, the screen turns black and freezes. The battery works for 5 hours with the screen on + lte / wifi.

I've actually flashed it without the firmware, a few times, and it keeps looping from lightning bliss logo, to black screen..

No, only AEX and Derpfest Pie have SELinux enforcing yet.

For this build, I'm using razorloves' kernel and vendor sources for LineageOS verbatim - without any change.
However, I'm using a modified device tree based on razorloves's LineageOS device tree but has a few changes to build Bliss instead of LineageOS.

The International Google Pixel XL model (model number G-2PW2200) faces an issue with com.qualcomm.embms crashing (and no in-call audio as a result) with some ROMs including Bliss. This issue does NOT affect the American-spec Google Pixel XL (model number G-2PW2100).
If you have an affected device, please boot with SELinux permissive by flashing a Magisk module or using the kernel in this folder: https://sourceforge.net/projects/blissroms/files/Q/sailfish/
It's an SELinux contexts issue that I don't know how to fix, unfortunately. If you're a dev and you know something that could help, please PM me!

Been a while, so I thought I'd step up and do it

NO SOUND in any CALL
perfomance is to good .. But a big problem is no sound in any call.. please fixed this..otherwise i love that rom...after fixed this problem i am using as my daily driver....PLEASE fixed it....

This has been reported a lot now. Can you clean flash the non-Gapps build and report back either way?

This seems not ROM related, it's a known issue with pixel first generation, a crack in the audio codec on the motherboard causes the mic to stop working, usually when the phone gets hot, the soldier loosen and this happens, if you put your phone in the fridge for a while, the microphone will start to work, I know because I had the same issue with my first pixel. Sorry but bad news for you.

No.. this problem i fond only this rom...other rom like pixeldust, evolation x,lineage os all works perfectly..

Did you try to flash another ROM (now) and see if it happens? I understand it worked normal before, but try other ROM now and see..

I am still using pixeldust ROM ..in this time..

My pixel get freezer when it start at main screen, or boot processing. It was lost mic and phone sound before but all functions work like a charm. Now it get freezer with all rom (OTA, mod rom...). I searched and tried to fix but failed! I just want to use this phone as camera or other functions, no need sound of phone or mic. So someone can help me to fix this

The ROM supports VOLTE but the common tree that we have right now DOES NOT support so in short, no it does not yet support VOLTE

I don't remember adding a 1.5gb file on the zip? Use the 720mb

Chose Bliss for customization.
Everything is working as usual.
But Fingerprint scanner not working. There is a force close on settings while trying to change security settings.

In India JIO only supports 4g. I am not able to log into apps which require SMS OTP .

Trying it for 2 days, it's working flawlessly.
Awesome rom !

Greetings, yesterday I was installing this great ROM and it gave me a zip error, I tried several times until changing recovery and doing all the corresponding wipe and there was no way, I had to go back to Miui, but I still have the flavor of this ROM that was My favorite a few years ago, I would like to install yet, but I do not know what happens that gives me that error, I re-downloaded again in case the zip was corrupted and nothing, the same, any solution?

What is the error message? And did you format data (not wipe)?

When I was going to install the ROM, it would tell me zip error and abort installation. everything erased.

1- check your sd card /otg, if you able to install anything, ok.
2- download de rom to internal and put into sd / otg
3- format data, wipe cache, reboot to recovery
4- wipe vendor/system/data/internal/dalvick art /cache
5- flash your room, wipe caches-reboot system.
Work for me.
Ps: Sorry about the english.

Thanks for the help, but I already found how to solve the error 7 that it gave me, I already have it installed and enjoying it, it's great.
forgive mine, that that is bad hehehe.

A pretty stable and smooth build, i hope they keep up the good work. Yet I get a permenant notication about an app update " ok google " Model update.
Also got bootlooping at "starting phone"screen when turning on the phone , besides that no issues. when the rom is running.

Are we suppose to use Android 10 or 9 firmware with the latest bliss build? The OP 1st post seems to suggest a Android 9 firmware. Correct me if I'm wrong, please.
