Ok, I have an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 5 N920I with Android Nougat 7.0 and the charging port on it recently went out on me and I would like to re-root it. I am wondering if there may be any way that I can manually root it without having to hook it to a PC even if that means doing EVERYTHING myself? I say re-root because I recently had it rooted but I decided to upgrade to Nougat 7.0 so I had to un-root it.

Hello,
I have a samsung galxay s 5 running on android 4.4.2. its model number is samsung-sm-g900a. I rooted it 6 months ago but decided to unroot it when the lollipop update came out, so i would be able to get the update. I used odin and downloaded the samsung galaxy s5 stock. I have tried twice to unroot my phone but after i go through the process and download root checker on the play store, i find that my device is still rooted. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The downgrade to nce file should work fine, ive used it multiple times and been unrooted. You can load the lollipop update prerooted thlugh if you want to do it that way, which a guide for is in general.

I'm running the pre-rooted lollipop on an at&t S5 and works very well. If you unroot and get the official OTA update, you'll be stuck unrooted until someone finds a way to root again.
If you use the pre-rooted file you can go back to KitKat if you don't like the new Lollipop.
I have an a Samsung Galaxy S5 running 4.4.4. I have already rooted my Galaxy Tab 4 and I'm in love and like to root my phone as well. I am aware that SuperSU will unroot a device, but my question is: when I turn in this S5 in 2 years for credit towards a new phone, will AT&T be able to tell that the device was rooted, even if I have unrooted it before turning it in?
hello everybody, I would like to know how to unroot my Tmobile galaxy note 4, I am jumping for a nexus phone and I have to have to unroot it in order to make the switch, I need to make the phone 100%Samsung and the recovery to be Samsung instead of twrp
I tried finding but I have no clue how to make this device 100% Samsung again
Odin back to unrooted stock. Your Knox will still be tripped, you can't do anything about that, but it shouldn't matter.
where can I download unrooted stock my note 4 is on 5.1.1

I rooted and unlocked my Galaxy Tab S2 about two years ago and was hoping to update from Android 6 to 7, looking around a bit I figured I would try using Samsung's Smart Switch app to update. After updating I am now stuck in a boot-loop and my TWRP recovery install is gone. I still have the recovery file and am wondering what are the right steps I should take for recovering my files and also updating to Nougat while still having root access? I have done a bit of investigating but it looks like my tablet hasn't had much interest for the past year or so and I am uncertain what are the best new methods out there for rooting and updating ota.
I have Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900A version 5.0 and I’ve been trying to root it for awhile now. No luck at all and I’m fairly new to all of this stuff. From what I’ve gathered, it isn’t possible to root it since the boot loader is locked. However, if we can downgrade it, it would be. This is where I would need help step-by-step. I’d prefer that someone could live chat with me or call just to make sure I get every step right and if I have questions, I could get them right away to ensure I get everything done right. Thanks!

Dr. FONE doesn’t work. I think it has to do with my bootloader and I need to downgrade mine to 4.4.2 KitKat version.
The first line of the thread says:
"You can now root your AT&T Note 3 running stock Lollipop (OC1) in less than ten minutes (it rooted mine in six)
With just a few clicks this method will root and also install the real SuperSu on your Note 3."
OC1 ROM is Lollipop which is 5.0.
