Hi everyone, I would like to update my vendor partition. I installed last rr build(pie) but my vendor partition is a bit old but don't remember which version. Last time I tried to update vendor it ended with fastboot screen and I don't want to go all over the installation (flash miui China etc...) What is the best way to update vendor?
Flash last xiaomi.eu pie vendor then rr build or if I lfind only the vendor partition can I update it via twrp?
Does someone has already try this or help me going through the best process!
You'll need to flash the whole xiaomi.eu rom, at least I never got it to work when only flashing vendor.
Hi, im on latest miui.eu on my mi 9t pro . But i want to install pixel rom.. I tried to install global vendor as before, but i got an error.
E:String resource ´zip_compatible_err´ not found
Using default value.
Zip Treble compatibily error !
Invalid Zip file format!
How can i fix it and install the pixel rom ?

Are you on official EU MIUI or xiaomi.eu ROM?
What global vendor file are you trying to flash and how?
What version of TWRP are you using?

I found the Solutiuon, i just had to reinstall twrp and it worked again.
But i have another Question..
Hi, I had the German Mi 9t Pro variant and previously had the Miui Stock global. There I had installed a Google camera that uses the lens blur effect in the portrait option. Now I have flashed the Xiaomi.eu rom via twrp and then exactly the same Google camera. Unfortunately, it is completely different and can no longer make a lens blur effect in portrait mode. Is that perhaps due to the different vendors global and EU? What can I do to get the Google camera back in the same way as in the Global version?
If I install the Pixel rom with the global vendor, I also have the good Google camera.
i guess i bricked my handy ? It just boots into fastboot. twrp is installed but i cant get into it. I tried to flash global vendor over the xiaomi.eu rom
What can i do ?
How can i flash indian vendor in Raphael board???
I flashed Mi 9T Pro ROM (MIUI 12) on my K20 Pro using Mi Flash tool. Now for K20 pro the ROM is MIUI 11 and when I try to flash the K20 Pro ROM on my phone using Mi Flash tool, I get an error about device mismatch.
Please help as I want to switch back to Indian ROM....
Dear brother, I am using K20 Pro I have this error also this problem persist on vendor image, i flashed China vendor image in my mobile after i try to flash Indian fastboot rom i got this mismatch error. So the problem is very small do you have Indian fastboot rom then flash indian vendor zip or do you have china fastboot rom then flash china vendor zip. Then try fastboot flash its really work.
Sorry for my English. I hope you understand.
Where do i get the vendor files? Also, is it some kind of downgrade protection because I am trying to flash MIUI 11 on device running MIUI 12?
You'll find the vendor image inside fastboot rom. Flash it with TWRP.
Mi 9T Pro ll Tapatalk
Go-to this below link and find the vendor zip file as you have fastboot rom version. for example do you have fastboot rom 12.0.2.0 India version then download 12.0.2.0 vendor zip and flash with TWRP or Orange Fox then flash fastboot rom using Mi flash tool.
I am new to XDA, so I can't share the link now on reply, so copy below link and paste into address bar to open.

Can someone help me with the detailed steps to do it. I am listing the entire thing what I did till now-
1) Bootloader unlocked and installed Pixel Experience ROM
2) Then used the Mi Flash Tool to install the Global ROM MIUI 12 (Originally my phone had the Indian variant for MIUI 11)
3) Now, my phone shows it to be MI9T Pro, whereas earlier it was K20 Pro
4) Now when I try to flash the MIUI 11 back, I get the error for 'Missmatching image and device' because I see in the .bat file that the check says- fastboot %* getvar product 2>&1 | findstr /r /c:"^product: *raphaelin"
My device was raphaelin originally.

Could you please tell me, What is your MIUI 11 version of fastboot rom you trying to install.
I am trying to install 11.6 version that is the latest available fastboot ROM. Also, I have already checked the anti ver value for my current ROM and for the one to be installed.
Current Anti Ver =1
Anti Ver for ROM to be installed=1
So, the condition that do not match here is that it's checking whether the device is Raphaelin. Because my current ROM says the device is Raphael.

YOU YOUR SELF ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE THINGS YOU DO TO YOUR SMART PHONE.I AM NOT responsible.IF YOU POINT YOUR FINGER AT ME I WILL laugh AT YOU.
A warning!!!
This vendor is not compatible with firmware on official vendors from Redmi 6 and 6A themes
Patches and various modifications for the official vendor will not work on the OSS vendor, sometimes have a negative effect!
Kernels from the official vendor will not work on the new vendor. When installing the kernel from the official vendor, the firmware will not start!
short info:
The author of an unofficial vendor is Dinolek
This vendor is based on the ALPS source code from MediaTek based on Android 10
This vendor has significantly fewer problems than all the official
This vendor has been thoroughly tested and has a stable status.
OSS vendor advantages over official:
Default data encryption is missing
- There is support for Api2Cam (You can download Google Camera from Google Play or use the Google Camera GO mod)
- No problem with codecs on Android 10 and 11
- No problems with ring volume control on CERTUS and GSI firmware
- There is support for the Vulkan API (some games and applications will work a little better)
- CERTUS and GSI work much more stable than on the official versions of vendors
- There is video stabilization
- Official YouTube client works great at 720p 60fps
- Kernel 4.9.190
- Based on Android 10 ALPS (AOSP from MediaTek)
Kernel -https://github.com/CertusRepos/android_kernEl_xiaomi_certus
Tree-https://github.com/CertusRepos/android_device_xiaomi_certus/tree/alps-10.0
Requirements:Unlocked bootloader
Need android pie miui
0.4 is for custom Roms and 0.5 is for
gsi
Don't use this vendor for android 9 custom roms

Use official twrp latest version and delete the vendor from advanced wipe and install alps vendor 0.4 for revenge os after that the ROM should boot, if it still doesn't boot give a try for 0.5 vendor bcz some people were saying that this vendor was helping them boot ROMs
Are these vendor images up-to date?
Asking because the numbers, 0.4 and 0.5, do not represent the tree version (10.0)
Did those images work for anybody?
I am trying to get back from 64-bit vendor for Android 12 and flashing those over ALPS-Vendor-0.6-ARM64-cactus just doesn't work. The phone is not bootlooping, rather is stuck on boot.
Interestingly enough 0.4 patches just vendor partition, while 0.5 patches both vendor and boot
