I take many pictures (that's why I both P40 pro ) but what strikes me is a difference in specific cameras usage pattern between them

I used on P30 pro wyde camera a lot while here more then 50% is telephoto - because tele on P30 was bad and wyde was great while on P40 pro wide is nothing special and very different color-wise from others? while tele thou far from perfect is Very usable for flowers (now is spring)

I'm thinking to sell my mate 10 pro and buy p20 pro.
Does it worth?
The camera difference is very big?
Thank you.
Mate the 10 pro be with you
It is a gorgeous device with a great camera, but it is my first Huawei device so I'm not sure what the Mate 10 Pro is like.
I've recommended this device to a number of people, great battery life, performance, and camera which for me is all you need in a device.
Not much difference I'd say, apart from a marginally better camera. The improved zoom would be the most noticeable factor. Other than that you'd basically be buying the same phone again.
They are basically the same phones. Main difference is in the camera and the fingerprint sensor on the front.
The much larger sensor makes big difference in photos?
Like u all said practically is the same phone with better camera but how much better?
Mate the 10 pro be with you
I just sold my Mate 10 Pro and got the P20 Pro. There is a huge difference in picture quality at night but I think that, once the M10 gets the 8.1 update and the Master AI update, the difference will be marginal.
The p30 pro has amazing night shots....
And a knuckles feature for easy gestures.
And wireless charging although i dont think i’l ever use it.
But i wonder about software mostly. I dont read much positivity about reno’s coloros, but also enough critisism about the software of the p30 pro.
The reno doesnt have a notch, no protuding camera’s, stereo speakers...
Wich one do you think has more quality and better results
P20 pro in terms of low night shots
Hi all, I have the chance to get the P30 Pro for a bargain price but I am wondering if it would be better than my Pixel 3 XL that I owned for almost an year now. I am mostly tempted by the better battery and RAM but I am worried that I wont like the quality of pictures from the P30 Pro as much as the Pixel's ones. Did anyone make the change from Pixel 3 XL to P30 Pro? If so, do you find the P30 Pro a better phone? Thank you.
Okay, the P30 Pro is way better in almost every aspect. That's for the camera and the rest of the phone too. Main camera has almost double the sensor size. So you'll get better images in the dark without night mode. Plus you have super wide angle (16mm full frame) and Tele (135 mm full frame) which is missing with the Pixel. The only aspect which is better in Pixel Cams is the Selfie Cam. Please check dxo smartphone: Pixel 3 is 20th place with 103 points regarding photo, P30 Pro is 6th place with 125 photo points. The P30 Pro is one of the Top Smartphones in 2019. Pixel 3 is a device of yesterday, sorry.

Few months already I'm considering upgrade first to Xiaomi 12S Ultra and after that to the newly announced Xiaomi 13 Pro ...
I would make this EXPRESSIVE upgrade only because of the new 1" camera sensor, because I'm absolutely HAPPY with all other hardware & software capabilities of my old good Redmi Note 10 Pro ...
Today I have made a simple Camera compare between the 3 phones using the Original pictures made from the very detailed reviews made by GsmArena.com.
I read their web page and watch their YouTube channel especially when I consider a phone upgrade ...
I have made a copies in a google drive folder below of all the pictures on the same place or scene which they have made reviewing each phone.
You can examine and compare each picture using the link below:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1OLcGHzF4wlWT8539NMHNQpR0Jy41oiG-
CONCLUSION:
I'll NOT change my Redmi Note 10 Pro for a 6-7 times expressive phone only because of the good Marketing and Hype!!!
I'm shooting 95% pictures during the day in GOOD light and in this conditions as you can see alone there is almost NO ANY DIFFERENCE between the pictures made with Redmi Note 10 Pro / Xiaomi 13 Pro / Xiaomi 12S Ultra ...
FACT!
Yes, I understand very well that the video capabilities and the Night picture quality with the 1" sensor and new chipset are much much better, BUT as you can see alone comparing the pictures made during the day in good light actually there is NO ANY difference!
I can't see any big difference between the pictures made in good light condition with phone with cost of $200 and $1 000+
The 1" sensor is Very Good Marketing, Xiaomi!!!
Our Camera hardware is producing very good pictures if you are shooting with Redmi Note 10 Pro using the Leica Camera Mod in RAW and export the images using Lightroom app on your phone you get almost brilliant detail and quality!!!
But have to say that the latest fine tuned Leica Camera Mod especially version LeicaCameraMod-4.7.230121.1-GLSPALR.zip
is generating JPG pictures with very good overall quality shooting in the regular Photo mode.
