Issues after updating to Android 10 (Tencent version) - ASUS ROG Phone II Questions & Answers

I am using the Tencent version (no root). When I was on Android 9, I wanted to use Nova launcher and I had to uninstall the default launcher to get this to work. I uninstalled it using the powershell software.
After downloading the official patch to go to Android 10, the Recent Apps button (the one which lets you see all open apps and close them) no longer works. Is there any way to fix this?

Titanium Backup Pro (CM7 Stable) not in app drawer

I'm coming from autnooter 3.0 to CM7. After successfully installing CM7 and Gapps, I went into the market and downloaded my paid Titanium Backup Pro app. It downloaded fine, but it is NOT in the app drawer.
I went into manage applications and it is showing that it is there, but obviously i can't launch the program.
do i need to do something special to get this to show up in my app drawer? Do I need to check allow non-market apps or something and then reboot?
would love to restore a lot of my apps from my e-clair ROM.
I didn't have that problem and I followed the same upgrade path that you did.
One thing I would suggest is going to the market/my apps and see if TB is 'installed' there. If it is, when you click on it, it will give you the option to open it. Try that.
On my old auto-nooter installs, I noticed that some apps didn't appear until reboot, others had to be manually moved to system/apps with root explorer.
I am totally loving CM7 and haven't had any serious problems at all. Using Aldiko to read my epubs works great.
Yes, I did try to "open" it from the market and yes it says its "installed" in the market as well.
the "open" button in the market is "greyed out", meaning i cannot press it. I will try a reboot when I get home and will also d/l root explorer and try moving it that way.
The other thing is, and this I don't know, is The Pro just a key? So you have to install the free version as well? A lot of 'pro' apps work that way.
you may be right. Did you d/l the free version first? then the "key" (aka PRO)?
do you remember?
I'm still just using the free version. This is what I used to restore my apps after the CM7 upgrade. The downside to the free version (I think) is that the files are restored 1 by 1.
Yes, you need to install the free version from market, at which point it should recognize you have a pro key. Then, just reload TB (by pushing the menu button when in TB, then "reload application"...or just reboot) and it should use your pro key just fine. I've done this several times in the past with no issues.

[solved] trouble installing Zeam 3.0.3

I can't install Zeam 3.0.3 on my rooted Nook Touch.
In market the device is grayed out when clicking install Zeam. Market installs work for all other apps I've tried.
I grabbed zeam-3.0.3.apk from the dev page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=664149 and copied it to my Nook over USB, then ran it from Astro Filemanager. I get a menu with the option "open app manager", click that but then get a screen with two tabs "summary" and "details". For other .apk files I've installed I've gotten an install button on that first tab. But for Zeam both tabs are completely empty.
Any workarounds for this?
You need to install an older version of Zeam. The version you are trying to install is for Android 2.2 and higher only.
Older versions that work on Android 2.1 (which is what the Nook Touch runs) can be found by searching with google.
Thanks, I forgot about the older Android version on the Nook Touch.

installing older version of apps?

I want to install the older version of YouTube app, 4.2.2 update replaced the default version with the current one.
I have a back up version from 4.0. I've tried renaming the new version and copying the old one back into /system/app folder.
reboot, but didn't work.
do I have to sideload it? if so how?
Go into the play store, search youtube and uncheck auto update. Next, Tap on the renamed YouTube in /system/app and press uninstall. After that tap on the version of YouTube.apk you want and press install. Your all set!
Nexus 7:
Unlock/Root
PRIME D
M-Kernel
PimpMyROM
tried that already, install fails. don't think you can install a root app manually
Try downloading the version you want off of the internet. Then try with that apk.

SuperSwiftKey for OnePlus 3T

Hi,I recently flashed Superswiftkey from Team BlackOut's Home page ..But it is not installing or if I install thro APK files ,it says Package is damaged..Recheck..
Could anybody advice me how to install SuperSwiftKey from Team Black Out?
Or What could be the right format ,ARM or ARM X64 or X64 for 3T
I'm currently running on Stock Rom with Custom Recovery!
PLease help me!
Maybe you need to uninstall the original SwiftKey that came pre installed on op3t
No I couldn;t delete or uninstall SWIFTKEY that comes preinstalled....
You have to root to uninstall pre-installed system apps like SwiftKey. Since SuperSwiftKey is just a themed version of an older version of SwiftKey, you can't install it as a user app while a newer version of SwiftKey is installed in your system.
