This popped up in my news reader last night. - Galaxy Tab S General

https://www.androidpolice.com/2020/...w-android-10-coming-to-an-old-phone-near-you/
So I googled SM-T700 and got this:
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/klimtwifi/install
Anyone else used it? What about a GApps pacakge?
EDIT: Never mind. It must've been a senior moment. It looks like it *CAN* be built. It just *HASN'T* been built. Any volunteers?

not to be mean or anything but i wouldn't have seen this if he didn't make a thread about it since i don't read the tutorial threads. not everyone lives 24/7 on the forum and knows every post thats in every thread and anyone has the right to make their own thread. eventually this will get burried 10 pages deep. still it's pretty cool that the vogue is making the "news" but kinda crappy that there is no mention of dzo's great work getting android as functional as it is. honestly if xda had a developer of the year award dzo would win.

Yeah really, can't believe that Crobs let him give him credit he even acted like it was so easy like changing your shoelaces. Not to mention the style of that writer is pretty weaksauce. He even mentioned 15k views for crobs thread when DZO is around a million. Talk about writing a story out of your ass I couldn't believe it was a real wired article.

Thats why when the writer tried getting me to give input for the story, I didnt email her back because I had nothing to do with porting android to the vogue. I knew that if I had input on the story there would be backlash. But if it were me, I would have mentioned everyone who I thought had anything to do with getting this done.

I mean don't get me wrong, Crobs helped a bunch of people out with that tutorial, and there's nothing wrong with interviewing a USER of the port. He should have done like you say, talk about his / your contribution, but also definitely what DZO did... not just brush it off like it's nothing - Like he just went to google.com and downloaded androidforvogue.cab and installed!!
Obviously this writer wasn't too bright / didn't do a shred of research before writing the article. Oh well, anyone who actually looks into this knows the real story!

No flash yet. Waiting for Adobe to finish version 10.2. They said a few weeks but we will see.

Soo... You buy things without doing an OUNCE of research or reading up beforehand? This has been mentioned and talked about a million times over the last 3 weeks. Seriously, go to Google and look up your questions before asking such obvious things.
wow you could have just passed the ? up instead you took time out of your day to be rude ...i did some checking i knew that it was going to have flash i must have just missed the part where it said it was not ready ..didnt your mom teach you if you have nothing nice to say to be quite .lol....thanks keitht for the nice answer !
**** if forums followed there moms rules there would be no forums. In a not so nice way he was just saying use forums as a last resort for problems. Its harder to work with people and help them when there are a million threads about how to put a widget on my home screen or how to turn this on. Most of use here love to help others. For 1) makes us fell smarter and 2) feeds our online egos. Some just forget what it was like when they first started getting into forums. But yes flash support will be coming as soon as they finish 10.2.

Fedora?

I read about a Fedora 18 installer for our Touchpads. Does anybody know anything about this? Does it have a newer kernel than we are using for Ubuntu? Sound? I'd try it myself, but I'm out of town for the week without reliable internet (well, I have enough to post forum messages, but not enough to download great big tarballs).

Looks like he started working on it about 3 days ago. You probably could install it using that guide but we should probably wait until this person officially releases it.
"This person" is Rob Clark, the guy who writes Freedreno. He's posted it to his blog here, so I don't know how much more official of a release it could be.
God loves those who write code for fun.

Awesome I will be installing. Just don't want to steal someone's code without them authorizing it.

Harmonix?

Anyone know where this music app is? Was talked about a lot and read a bunch of stuff about it direct from Harmonix and Samsung, but then nothing, this was a major selling point for me, Def looking forward to it hoping it's released soon.
Anyone else?

Is this real??

Found this link for rooting H872.

Considering what I have read, I am skeptical that this is real. I recognize micromod777 from XDA. Any thoughts? Anybody here try this?

That article is from April 6th. I would think it would have been tried long ago and be on xda. shrug.
That said, it is real tempting, but I don't intend to be the guinea pig

I sent MicroMod777 a private message at xda. We'll see if I get an answer.
Thanks. Good idea.

Just realized something.LGUP doesn't use zip files. This is for when we have twrp installed.
Anyone heard anything recently about any progress on this device? This is the only thing I have seen recently and nobody even said if it's real or not.
