Anyone started porting android oreo

as title requests anyone working on android oreo because already devices like lenovo a6000/plus got oreo update from AOSP,etc..,
so if anyone started please mention or else please dev's start working on it, its our request only....:good:

A6k is Snapdragon bro. They have good sources.
Our device is mtk. We're working without proper device trees.
Oreo currently only boots but we can't fix it.
That's why we're waiting for daniel_hk to make progress on K3 note with Oreo. Once his sources become stable, we could work on Oreo ourselves. Note that if k3 isn't stable, then a7k also isn't stable.

Do we need to unlock bootloader in lenovo a7000 for rooting via kingo root without using pc, I'm kinda new here so didn't know where to look

No , You Don't Want , You Can Install TWRP For This Phone Lenovo A7000-a By PC Using SPFT Or Smartphone Flash Tool & Root It Simply With SuperSU Or Magisk , Cheers .

Now Lineage 15 Oreo Released For This Phone , I Tested It But Here's The Bugs I Founded It :
1-Bluetooth Not Working .
2-Deepsleep "It's Very Annoying" . FIXED
3-Video When He Finish Record The Video Was Green , The Audio Working Only .
4- Apps Not Installing .

Hello , guys I'm a developer and I wanted to ask if i install this rom could it work or It will freeze the apps or it won't boot .. and i wanted to know if their is any other developer wants to port this rom to the note 5 ... Now's probably too soon. Android O is not stable and neither is our current Lineage OS 14.1 release.

I know that the build.prop will not work with my n5 but if you made changes in it , it might boot up because system files are the same but the problem is how the apps will run if they detect wrong screen resolution .... It was an idea i thought I have to discuss ....

Is not only build.prop edit, you need to have a kernel for your device, and many things because the source is for swift

My bad still on 7.1.1. there is no Samsung with Oreo yet.

Their are threads on this all ready search before posting.
Google camera is not compatible with are phone anymore.
Unless their is a ported Google for this device we will likely not have one.

- I too have a8 plus in Oreo it worked like a champ...
-But the problem came with pie update ...It lost gcam support.....
Please help me regarding this problem ???

Their is no gcam for pie at this time.

Portrait Mode Not Working Either. Will Update If I Get A Config That Gets More Stuff Working. Please Try The 6.X Versions On The GCAM celsoazevedo Repo.

To fix this, I had to reflash vendor.
Please add a warning that this mod does not work for OneUI 3.
Also, can you make an update to this mod for devices running OneUI 3? It would be amazing if you can

I can confirm this happened to me as well, in fact me and Cyberdroid1 were talking about this on the Galaxy A30 telegram

It does not work on android 11 on my a305g please fix it, previous it worked normal with Android 10 but now that I have updated it to Android 11 it breaks

Flash vendor to revert the changes (it does not fix the issue, it just takes it back to stock)

I flashed a custom rom on my samsung galaxy a6+ I flashed it on lineageOS. But there is a problem that bluetooth does not work. I want to fix it because half of my devices work on it. Please tell me how to fix this?

No matter how much I tried, everything was loaded into the bootloader. But it turned out with pixel expiriance, but even then it hung at the splash screen

Such info you have in linked thread. LineageOS R mod and many Android 10/11 GSI's should work fine. Full GSI list you'll find here. Choose arm32_binder64 vndklite builds.
