I have long since installed apk Turbo Download Manager (TDM) on my Samsung A6 + SM-A605FN with Android 9.
My favorite browser is Firefox.
When I download a file I can choose to use Firefox or TDM.

Yesterday, by mistake, I tapped on Firefox and I always chose.
Now, every time I download, I can no longer choose TDM.
How can I solve it?

Go to settings>Applications>tap 3 dot on upper right>Reset app preferences
Resolved! The download control had been taken by ES File Manager (my favorite file manager) and not by Firefox; I entered the settings of Es -> Download Manager -> Disable the ES Download Manager.
Finally the window from which I can choose which app to start the download with has reappeared.
Thanks for the assistance !!!!!

Can someone tell me where to put the files for uploading them to the kitchen from the phone? I used ES filexplorer to take them out from the rom on my phone.
Thanks.
Transfer the files from your phone to your Mac/PC.
In UOT's Kitchen go to the "File Uploade" page.
Activate "System Files" under "Select your rom from kitchen's list, or upload your own files".
Click on the "Select files" buttons and browse to you files on your Mac/PC.

There is a very good video of how to do it here.
Thanks for the reply but that i did know...but i wanna know how to do it from my phone without the pc ever being used.
If I remember correctly, I tried to do this on my phone's browser but it couldn't upload the files using UOT's interface on the site for some reason. So PC only for now, I'd think.
Thanks for your answers, i cooked on my pc then downloaded it via wifi on my phone, my sweet children has destroyed 4 out of 4 usb ports on my laptop thats why i was wondering.
If you are using Wifi you could use WiFi Explorer or MyPhone Explorer..
Thanks for the tip!
There is a thread located in the Galaxy Nexus forum talking about this workaround. I figured, my fellow NS users would like to know this as well. =]
1) With Root Explorer or a similar file explorer app, tap on the Mount R/W button on the top right corner of the app so it shows Mount R/O then locate & rename Superuser.apk to Su.apk. (/system/app)
2) Now locate build.prop (/system/) and tap and hold on the file and select Open in text editor.
3) Locate & rename test-keys to dEris-badass (lol) then save and exit.
4) I left USB Debugging enabled (some need to disable this)
5) Log in and watch some TV =]
** You need a Time Warner subscription.
** You need to be connected to your home network via WiFi.
** I'm using the latest version that is in the Play Store today.

verry good file explorer, used it on symbian 9.1, now on android.
p.s. downloaded from market.
Rich features and The two panels help me alot....
Using it on my android and my old symbian...
Nice:good:
But i prefer fx and the MIUI like file manage(forget it name):victory:
Ya I knew this xplorer, used for 5 days, then I got Solid Explorer by krz, and I threw the xplorer.
Just try once, and you would amazed.
The latest one is Solid Explorer beta 3
ES Explorer is better than this one..
But thanx..
Lets the XDA gurus to make a new review on File Managers for Android and put them all side-by-side: X-Plore, ES File Explorer, Root Explorer, OI File Manager, Solid Explorer... For me, the best ones are X-Plore and Solid Explorer...
This theme was created with an intention of personal use. And then my friend reminded me that sharing is caring...
p.s. : sorry for my bad joke

Hello, I have recently installed the twrp recovery, but when I tried to do a backup it give me an error about a path that can't be read. That path refer to the Facebook folder in /data/data/facebook-katana.
There is one file ( 6-lxk7_g5koNUrLwO82eQTzq6_w.cnt ) that can't be deleted. I tried with several file manager, like solid explorer, es file manager and the file manager from rom toolbox. Same result from the picture that I will post in this thread.
Also tried to go in recovery and use the recovery built in file manager to delete that file, but same results. How can I solve?
Here's the pic.

Thinking off the top of my head, this may not work:
Download a terminal emulator from play store.
Enter the following commands, one after each other:
"su"
"cd data/data/facebook-katana"
"rm 6-lxk7_g5koNUrLwO82eQTzq6_w.cnt"
It may not work, but try it anyway!
Do post your results.
