[Q] firmware update. How to? help needed!

Hi to all,
After more than 5 year using windows mobile, and a lot of firmware updates i decided to offer myself a new mobile.
I have now (since 24th DEcember) a Samsung GT-i9000
I'm in Portugal, bought it from a portuguese operator and it came with this 2.2 firmware:
I9000XXJPK
It is network UNLOCKED
i connect it to my PC using KIES 1.5.3.10111_2 and when i tried to upgrade it to 2.2.1 i received the following message:
Model Name: GT-I9000
Actual Version: PDA: JPA / PHONE:JPK / CSC:JP1
This version could not be updated
I have a lot of applications that come from my operator.
I'd like to install a clean firmware and if possible the 2.2.1
But where can i found the apropriate version to my mobile?
I did't found any reference about XXJPK !!!

I was wondering if someone could tell me if I can install the latest stock ROM and wil be functional in the Belgium networks:
Germany (T-Mobile) 2012 September 2.3.6 I9001BOKQ4 I9001DTMKQ3
or
Netherlands (T-Mobile) 2012 September 2.3.6 I9001BOKQ4 I9001TNLKQ2
At the moment I have this rom installed:
PDA: I9001XXKPU
CSC: I9001DBTKP1
PHONE: I9001XXKPH
Latest firmware available is this one I guess:
PDA: I9001XXKQ7
CSC: I9001DBTKP2
Modified: 2012-02-27
I have purchase this phone at Germany (carrier = DBT = DEBITEL) and it was already unlocked and usable in the Belgium networks.
There is NO official rom available for Belgium.
Any help on this is welcome!!!!

[Q] Unbranded stock rom i9305?

Hi I just want to check I am not doing something messed up. I have rooted phone triangled away flash counter now I need to install the stock ROM. The phone is on EE in the UK (united kingdom) and I want to make it unlocked and ready to use on any network but I cannot find any stock ROM which is unbranded and for the UK. Is it ok to use other countries stock ROMs? For instance I see germany has and unbranded stock ROM here : http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=15706 (need to be logged in to see so ill post info here:
