I can't play pubg 60fps on my s10e. Why? How i can fix this?
I have a s8+ too (snapdragon) and i can play mutch better
Same with my s10 plus (exynos) its probly impossible to fix because exynos 9820 is a bad processor aswell as the gpu, and Samsung doesn't seem to optimise anything in the updates except give new features, so we'll will always have a bad experience using these phones, im selling my s10 soon and getting oneplus 8

Hello,
Download Package disabler pro and disable game launcher and game optimizing service. You could also do this via ADB.
Tested on my S10 Exynos and S9+ Exynos and stable 60fps.

Was testing Asphalt 8 today, and noticed that gameplay was more or less the same as it was in the Note 2. Seems like we're reaching a plateau in the world of mobile technology.

Isn't Asphalt 8 locked at 30fps?
Anyway, youve got all those extra pixels to render with the Note 4,it will stress the CPU/GPU more. I believe Annandtechs tests showed that running the S805 with a 2k screen gave similar performance to running the S800 with a 1080screen.
I forgot to think from that perspective. Seems like the game is locked at 30fps. I really see no use of those extra pixels and thus unnecessary battery drain though I've achieved over 3 days with the standard battery.

There's only going to be more pixels, wait for 4k phones at the end of this year!
4K on a small screen is crippling when think in terms of battery drain. Wonder what the future of battery technology will bring to the table.

I feel you. I've also upgraded from note 2 (which is now with my wife). Really, other than a better scree/ pixel density, I don't see much in the Note 4. May thinner profile/ better build quality. I still feel that the camera is downgraded (except for the fact that the note 4 has better control over spherical aberration). I really miss the macro mode in the note 4. Gaming, as you already mentioned, isn't any different.
I see the camera at fault as well. Not defective, but in low-light, tends to get grainy without the flash. Perhaps I haven't taken enough low-light pictures w/o flash with my Note 2 to notice this. For outdoors, the HDR modes works great with the Note 4; I do like the ability to enhance the photo, edit, and get creative. Software, there are some things I miss, especially Quick Glance, and features in the Galaxy S4, which I never got to experience, not that those software features are gimmicky.

You may need to get your eyes checked lol massive difference
Asphalt 8 is not locked at 30fps, the note 4 Exynos during game gives around 60fps while Snapdragon 45fps.
The Note 3 Snapdragon is around 30fps.
You can test the FPS whit the app "Gamebench". It needs root.

Lodix,
Thanks for the plug mate Just a note - GameBench doesn't require root - you can launch it using our desktop launcher just fine If you have root we can launch it for you.
Cheers,

Confirmed 60fps. The massive difference is only on the display quality, not the game play; subtle differences only.

Seems like OP is on cloud 9.
LOL. :silly: I was just basing this on various articles I came across on Google, can't confirm real world value, unless I perform the diagnostics. Though Antutu does mention my overall score to be 49,888. My Note 2 only reached 18,000. Seems odd that the real world performance difference is subtle. Forget gaming, my Note 4 does feel a lot smoother and I can keep more apps running in the background compared to the Note 2.

dude Note 2 with mali 400 can play almost every game around 30fps @720p but Note driving x4 the amount of pixels which needs a lot of power + adreno drivers sucks and games always run better on non adreno GPUs like mali , Powervr
anyway i don't think any android game support 1440p or even 1080p natively they are just get up scaled i think which is just wasting of gpu/cpu power if android allows user to change the res of the game like windows that would be great
[email protected] > [email protected]
That's why I miss the Mali / Exynos combination. Hopefully, my next Galaxy device will feature this.

Can you share a screenshot ??
So i have note 8 (exynos) ,one of the most updated internals are there in it.
But in pubg the option of hdr is yet not available also the option of high & Extreme in fps is not available.
Where as it is available in othet phones .
Its not that there is problem in game before the latest update (0.7) i use to havr thoes option , i did enable with some app called hd graphics tool as it was not available back then. That app is not updated for the latest for the new update so .
But the question is why it is not available inbulit for phone such as note 8 which has everything that it requires to run on high settings .
If any one has any solution or know someone from Pubg then kindly forward or reply.

I can't say for sure, but it sounds like something to do with the way the PUBG app is coded. I don't know that it's a Note 8 problem, it sounds like a PUBG issue. I would email their development team with the question.

Maybe this will help.
I did that too but no one from there side takes that prob ,it was all good till that last update , now thr options are removed which is just not acceptable

A lower resolution would provide higher FPS. Otherwise I don't think there's much we can do if the app developer changed things in the app itself...email them and hopefully they will fix it.

Note 8 hdr mode plus ultra frame rate
Working fine on usa model with snapdragon 835
Since Epic Games recently updated their game to support 60 fps on supported Android devices, featuring Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (USA variant), Huawei Honor View 20, and Huawei Mate 20 X (source: Android Authority, can't post the link yet). Can someone make a module that spoofs one of the mentioned devices just for Fortnite to achieve the smooth framerate? Thanks in advance

hey not sure if you still need it as this is pretty outdated but i made a module that will give you 60fps https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-fortnitetweaks-t4096881
I don't know why no body is talking on this , but the Exynos version of s21 ultra does not have an option to play at 90hz .
Also , we cannot play at uhd resolution and HDR is just limited to 40 fps ..
Where as on sd888 you can do it all .

The device barely handle 60fps.
My assumption it's not ready for 90 or uhd which fine by me, i never cared how much fps I'm running...i keep losing .
But you shouldn't have opt for the E2100 if you are interested in gaming tbh.

I have not bought the device yet , my region offer Exynos only ,
I am confused between this Exynos variant and OnePlus 9 pro .
I am getting both of them at a similar price , actually OnePlus doesn't deserve that price due to its poor software management and bugs and a relatively new company

After disabling the Samsung game optimizing service it easily handles 60 fps though... And it actually can run 90fps given how it runs LOL at 120 fps steadily..... It won't have a problem running smooth 90fps other than heating.

There's a lot of videos on YouTube regarding the process one from The Golden Reviewer as well.... You can do that through your pc's cmd prompt for free or purchase the package disabler pro on your phone through their website to make it easier.

What difference would it make to gaming ?
Is it anything better than intalling game plugins and game booster plus and tweaking settings?

Yes it indeed makes it better because it doesn't let samsung throttle its performance as low as it does normally. Everyone testing it on exynos version has appreciated the difference.

Disabling the game optimization is what I was talking about... As for tweaking the game booster and plugins ... It doesn't help much after a certain point.

Yes, the game lags when I play the game for just 5 mins. Performance is very bad with the snapdragon 888 processor.

It's not the processor, it's the phone. Because I have an rog 5 and a legion and it both runs at 120fps Witt no lag.
Facing the same problem, snapdragon 888 processor showing poor performance. The game lags when I play the game for few minutes during break time of my work on website juicerhunter.
