[Q] cannot install custom recovery

Whenever I try to install a custom recovery I get this error on cmd: (bootloader) Variable not supported
Bootloader unlocked. any ideas?

Worked - for anybody else having this issue!

Flash of the boot.img

Why in Omnirom and in Cyanogenmod we need to flash the boot.img and in Liquidrom and in my old phone Galaxy Mini isn't necessary?
Just curiosity.

I never flash the boot.img. Why do you do that? Just use a compatible CWM version or TWRP. I haven't used fastboot for a long time!

Sure?Sometimes I had a bootlop because of not flashing it.

Yes I am sure. If the package contain a boot.img and if the flashing completes without any errors, you have nothing to be worried about. Always use a newer CWM or TWRP or even the touch CWM.

Otg not Working

I am trying to connect my pendrive through a dongle but the system does not detect any thing though it is accessible from other phones. Can someone explain why

You must to actívate It in aditional configuration.

The only settings I found for otg was this https://pasteboard.co/IUk5T0k.jpg
and I tried toggling it but it didn't make any difference

Because if you install the 20.4, the phone goes in bootloop

the link there is you have to extract it on the pc and then you will see that there is a document txt file, there it explains how you have to flash, it is in spanish, but you translate and you already have it
