Why the hell did you bought that device? You cant get sim functionality since that device doesn't have a working radio. You can still flash a N920C rom and use it as an iPod tho..

Nope: it's a different model (hence -N- instead of -F-)
Why didn't you buy the SM-N950F ?

i bought it from South Korea, the 256Gb unlocked version. Now just trying to debrand it.
If you're worried about bloat, I'd suggest BK Disabler from the PlayStore or if you are more comfortable, ADB.
Alternately, I am inclined to agree with @henklbr; a F branded Note would give you root and less bloat.
Not sure where you guys got that idea, it is quite possible to flash different firmware between similar models. You can indeed flash different CSC as well, assuming it is ported for the new phone so that the flash doesn't mess up any partiotions.
Please don't spread misinformation just because you don't know how things work or how to do something.

Thanks. Are you familiar with unbranded csc that can work?
i'm in a similar boat. I bought the N950N Korean variant 256gb model but i live in australia and they werent selling that variant here. I want to flash the N950F (australian non carrier firmware). its downloading now but not sure if it will work, i will report back here. I dont have positive hopes though since that rom is for 64gb models im not sure if it will mess the partitions for my 256gb model. it will be interesting to know if anyone has been successful before
hello which seller you buy it and is there oem unlock

I'm in the same situation, I wanna change csc to turn off camera shutter sound and use Samsung pay in my country.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon
Odin won't let you flash it but you can use Odin to flash TWRP, and then use TWRP to flash a zip of a 950F ROM.

Not exactly but installing TWRP will trip Knox so Samsung Pay & other things related won't work.

Hello guys,
I would like to know if the peurtorican or Brazilian rom have Samsung pay if I install them on 9600 model?
Any help would be appreciated.
Try a Google search lately?
It's awesome,should use it sometime.....

Not trying to sound like an ass (it comes naturally,LOL),but, you've provided few details to give a better answer.
Guessing you want to use it somehwhere other than where the phone was originally from.
Basically, seems you're SOL if you've bought a Note 9 intended for another region & wish to use it in the US.

China fw has it, but breaks the radio.
Hello All,
My Note 9 is out for delivery today. After some research I decided to go for the N-9600 in the UK for the snapdragon processor. As it is GSM I shouldn't have any issues. I'm assuming it will ship with Android 8. I was hoping to install a fresh Android 9 before doing anything.
I've downloaded Odin and the firmware from the following location:
https://firmwarex.net/samsung-note-9-sm-n9600-stock-rom/
Is this going to be the best one to go for? When downloading new ones am I best looking for a Hong Kong version to ensure it has english language?
Any tips RE which firmware to go for would be most appreciated. I'm not too fused about root at this stage and want to keep the bootloader locked.
Thanks in advance.

Would definitely NOT recommend getting firmwares from that website.
Use SamFirm to get them straight from Samsung servers.
Use SM-N9600 as the model number and TGY as the CSC / region code.
TGY is Hong Kong unbranded, it has Google Services and the English language.
Just keep in mind it will not have VoLTE / WiFi calling and Samsung Pay functionality.
I wont use VoLTE / WiFi calling and Samsung Pay functionality anyway so thats fine.
Thanks for the info i'm downloading now! Most appreciated.

Too late and already bricked!
dose anyone have any idea about how to transform Samsung s10 live demo to regular phone ???
because i already buy a phone and i discover that it's a live demo converted to regular phone
the version was G973XZWUPAP and after the flashing become G973USQU1ASD3 with CSC (XAA)
my phone is SM-G973U Snapdragon.
so anyone have any ideas about this issue ?
ah ... by the way the phone still on android pie 9 and didn't receive any OTA update some people say because i'm in Belarus and the update is not supported in this country and others say that i can flash the phone with another ROM but i don't know which ROM is good for my phone.
This guy had the same issue and I think he fixed it. Go here:

Hi!
I bought an S10 Live Demo Unit SM-G973XU and I 'm looking to get it out of retail mode
I'm going to flash files to remove the demo version but i don't know which firmware is suitable for my device.
Can you give me some advice?
Thanks and sorry for my bad English!
S10 and above demo units are easily repairable.
This may or may not help you:
