[ROM+KERNEL] Uber CM-12.1---XPERIA ARC [GCC 4.9 & 4.9]

I not intend to add any mod or big change in original CM12.1 code, this ROM was build for the purpose of speed based on code optimization
It is based on latest source from CM12.1 with UBER patches, a Toolchain special build for Xperia Arc CPU and personalized device tree for better device optimization
Known Issues:
None
Requirements:
* Have the stock ICS 4.1.B.0.587 full ftf flashed (doesn't matter if you have flashed it in the past or if you flash it before installing cm12.1, it will work both ways)
* LT15i (Arc) users need to flash LT18i (Arc S) ftf
* MT15i (Neo) users need to flash MT11i (Neo V) ftf
* Minimum 2GB secondary ext4 partition for /data on class 10 SD card.
Steps required for correct installation (order is important):
1: Flash boot.img in fastboot & reboot into recovery
2 (optional): If the device is not booting, reboot to bootloader again and run:
fastboot erase system
3: Enter recovery
4: Format /system using System-Formating-Tool_signed.zip (can be found here) , then /data and then /cache (Important step!)
5: Flash update zip
6: Flash gapps

How To Flash:
- Perform a FULL WIPE as described below if coming from another ROM or a different version of Android
(A full wipe is when you wipe the following partitions: System + Data + Cache + Dalvik ART Cache)
- Flash the latest version of the ROM
- Flash any of the recommended GAPPS linked below
- Flash Magisk / SuperSU if you want root.
- Reboot and you should be good. ENJOY!!
- To dirty flash updates, wipe System + Cache + Dalvik ART Cache then flash all the ROM, Gapps, Magisk etc.

TB : Main Menu > Preference > App processing mode > INTERACTIVE
But you must install it one by one manually
And it works for me :good:
FYI. I used this methods when using ROM like Liquid Remix, Cardinal and LOS 14.1.
Because those ROM (rooted) can work with my OVO and Digi Bank app.

Oh well two new rom in a quick succession, i'm gonna try liquid then this rom, see u guys later

Clean flash is always recommended which upgrading from older version of android to new one. but still u can give it a try by keeping same old data. if u faced any issue by doing this.. then go for clean flash.

I had the same problem at first. I managed to get it working by switching to "OrangeFox" recovery (from PitchBlack), using the version here:

... then tapping the menu button on the far right:
then "manage partitions", "vendor" then "" and "Resize FS", swipe and back
then "manage partitions", "system" then "" and "Resize FS", swipe and back
(This might not have been needed but there were similar instructions for Evolution X 4.6.)
Then select "mount" from the menu screen, check "System" and "vendor", then press back
... then finally the folder for files, selecting the "FPC+Fix" zip, and swiping it to install with none of the options checked.
After that the zip It's entirely possible there's an easy way to do that with PitchBlack as well and I just missed it, but that's what finally worked for me. Hope it helps.!

No, however clean install is recommended.

fingerprint issue
I flashed the ROM and it's working good but I have a problem with the fingerprint. I installed FPC fix but I'm not able to unlock the phone with a fingerprint, it always wants me to enter the pattern. Although the fingerprint is working well for WhatsApp.

I'm currently on Nusantara_V3.4.RAWON_HMNote3Pro_RQ3A.211001.001_11.0_Go-GApps.
1. Can you please advice which version of Dolby Atmos that can work on this rom? Been trying to flash Dolby but not working.
2. I've been trying to replace the camera app with Google camera but it always apps not working error, any work around?

I have clean flashed rom...Now internal memory not showing in file manager app....Also i cant install apps from play store...it says not enough memory to install app...!

you don't need to.... its already present ... u just need to install one magisk module and present dolby will start working.. follow the given link below.. and install it as magisk module.. then reboot.. this module will work on GApps version only as dolby atmos support has not been added in AOSP build.

most probably, ur internal is still encrypted... u have to format internal memory using OrangeFox Recovery provided by me... and u will be good to go

already fixed in latest builds... older (buggy) builds has been removed to eliminate confusion while selecting correct/working build

Is the Pixel Spoof for Unlimited backup in Google Photos included in this ROM? I would prefer if it's not as if in the future the ROM is no longer updated the spoofing can massively affect battery life.

Hi GenXinvenits, good day!, thanks for the reply...I'd installed Dolby HAL initializer through Magisk, but Dolby Manager is not appearing in app drawer. Did I understand your steps correctly?
Previously on stock rom, I'd flash DolbyAtmos zip, and I can configure on/off dolby and setting in its Dolby Manager app.
On dolby config: I can hear the sound difference (louder) in stock roms, but no changes in current Nusantara rom.
Appreciate your advice, rgds

First Time Install / Clean Flash​1. Download the proper ROM ZIP for your device
2. Reboot to recovery ( these with decryption support are recommended)
3. Install the latest firmware if not already installed
4. Format Data if you come from retrofit, EROFS or A12 in any case, and any other situation if your Data is encrypted
5. Wipe Data,Cache and Dalvik cache
6. Flash the ROM
7. Install Magisk if you want (v25.2 or newer are recommended)
8. Install the ForcedEncryption disabler if you want to keep your Data unencrypted
9. Reboot to System and #KeepEvolving
Update / Dirty Flash from the system's updater app​You can install OTA update from the system's updater app if your Data is encrypted, you only need the current EvolutionX recovery for Cepheus or a compatible recovery like the ones recommended above. If you acomplish these requirements, go to Settings/System/Updates, check for updates, download it if available and apply it, the system will do the rest rebooting in recovery, installing the update and rebooting the system.
It's not recommended to update using the system's updater app if you disabled the forced encryption previously since the process described above doesn't include the encryption disabler so your device wouldn't boot the system after installing the update and you would be stuck in the recovery being forced to Format Data and re-install the ROM.​
Update / Dirty Flash manually from the custom recovery​1. Download the proper ROM ZIP for your device
2. Reboot to recovery (these with decryption support are recommended)

@dkionline it's officially maintained so you can expect at least one monthly update with the latest security patch and all the changes in sources, but there could be more if there are significant fixes or improvements

Installed and all looks good so far. I have an issue with my local android USB drivers and i'm on my work laptop so can't update them means i have no fastboot so used EvoX recovery rather than TWRP, but sideload worked fine

Yeah it's safe to install this firmware. In fact this is the firmware which has been included with the ROMs the last few months.

I have it installed, good job, finally I was able to install android 13 without retrofit..thanks

Changelog for the latest update (08/January/2023)
**Notes:**
- Install latest firmware if you're using an older one
- Clean install required coming from EvolutionX A12 or a different ROM
- Dirty flash from previous build is fine
- No Retrofit and no EROFS so make sure to use a compatible recovery, TWRP is recommended
