What I meant was- Delta update. Smaller zip file. Anyways nevermind downloaded the complete rom.
Smaller over the air update will be released, once asus starts to deliver this update to device.

FOTA Update will never be released for this version, as it is a developer image.
This version is only for WW SKU device that with Android 9 OS WW-16.2017.1910.059 & WW-16.2017.1912.060 version.
What's this? Most of the users are on 063 update, they won't downgrade now!

I was on .063 version and installed it.. Everything works as was described by asus.. I didn't encounter any problem right now besides low screen brightness, but all in the desceiption was implemented.. who now is fool?

Asus recommends the device with Android 9 OS WW-16.2017.1910.059 & WW-16.2017.1912.060 version, because the Developer Image has been tested for these devices. Not surprisingly, no problem, the original ROM is completely erased. Fools are people who consider the update to be STABLE.

Like i said, all of the things that asus listed as fixes worked for me no problems. Yeah its beta, and beta's aren't the most stable ones but they fixed if not all the previous problems that people complained about. There might be some more to fix to make it more stable and declare it "stable versikn". And mind you, not are "stable" roms are deemed stable. You know that. Everyone has his complaints.

Let ASUS decide what's "Beta" and what's "Stable" and I believe it's just too early to say things about the build.

Hahaha. Got it. Maybe asus realized they forgot to change the target SKU's anyway, where it was the target on their very first Android 10 build. The latest beta 2 was for .063 and .407 after all.

Working as stable doesn't mean it's a stable version update, lmao man developer builds are always beta or even alpha depending on how many bug fixes were made and in which channel they were released. But as you wish you can call cake as pie what do I care.

Can you elaborate that brightness slider bug?
I am following on the zenfone channel somewhere where i am seeing posts from chat with ASUS representative where ASUS constantly claims this release as Stable.
Looking at the issues I guess THEY are the ones who are not yet stable

Brightness slider bug is that approx. 0% to 60% brightness is almost same. After approx. 60% brightness increases like it has to.
Means brightness of the screen does not increase or decrease normally according to their %

I find it completely unreasonable to take the time to backport such an unnecessary feature (camera watermark) to the current camera v1.4.
Don't they really have anything more important to tackle?!
People are asking for several things to fix or improve since beta 1. But suddenly the OP5 is released with this useless feature and a vocal minority asks for watermarks in their forums on a daily basis...

Camera version is 1.5. I am not sure about extracting APK. I will give a try to it once I am at home.

You just have to install google play apk no need for gapps. And yes after flashing this you will back to stock recovery for that flash twrp recovery right after flashing rom.

I was on Oos v.4.1.7 stable. I use twrp recovery blu spark 3.1.1.v.41 .
I dirty flash Hydrogen ob20. I reflash Magisk v.13.3 & recovery.
Everything works fine & fast. Camera it's v.1.5. I uninstall chinese apps with Root Essentials.

Improved camera. We can see the deference well on HDR mode. Multi touch totally fixed. Double tap gesture bug fixed and i think the touch response also been improved. Don't know wether the battery issue is fixed or not and didn't saw any new bugs as of now.

There is no any battery drian bug exist on stock rom. Battery drain only accurs when there is dust on fingerprint scanner

I am facing the battery drain issue for a long time. Dors it occurs due to the fingerprint reader? I had even tested the drain by removing all fingerprints. But it didn't worked.

after I download the firmware 15.2016.1805.316, then click install .. after that I stopped the process at the time of "installing system update" which took a very long time and until now not finished .. why?

Well, I am getting around 9 hrs strictly on wifi [not mobile data]. I play games for around 2-3 hrs , and also stream media for about 2 hrs. And remaining time consists of browsing , WhatsApp.
If you are using mobile data and play games and media for around 4-5 hrs . Then its fine I guess.
I get 12hours sot 311 update. 2 days standby and browsing and YouTube and social media on mobile data. No heavy games

No bugs but I hate MIUI and I'm trying to get out of the addiction of flashing custom roms, I'm using Aosp Ex with RN5P but still stock OS is stock OS that's why will buy Asus. Otherwise, the phone is good.

Ya, That's exactly the reason I went with Max pro m1 .
Well you can wait for the 6 gb ram variant.
Personally I feel pairing 6 gb with 636soc is pointless considering the fact that Max pro m1 is well optimized for memory management.

Nope it seems to be working. Kindly check the G cam apk you installed. If the problem still persists refer to this thread and repeat the process.

Indian version of this phone doesn't have NFC currently. Since some versions of this phone do have NFC, they have pushed the update wholesome.

Added Bluetooth avrcp profiles, ldap playback now possible. You can switch in developer settings or leave it on auto for best results). And yes, the Bluetooth low volume output is rectified.

Yes same here in Malaysia , I read on another forum , it is the same situation in Indonesia
The Zenfone 5Z (ZS620KL) is officially in the Android Q Beta program from now! This means Android Q Beta 3 is now available for the device.
This update doesn't have ZenUI! This is pure Android Q Beta! When final version will be released later, it will include ZenUI 6 on Android Q!

There is no beep when the volume up or volume down buttons are pressed. The beep still works with other functions.

So I flashed the much hyped Android Q Beta 3 on my AZF5Z and here are my findings:
1. VoLTE doesn't work (a big bummer for me).
2. UI inconsistency, recents panel is unorganised and apps screen aren't visible (refer the screenshot for details).
3. Rest everything is working pretty normal.
4. No gestures (standard 3 button navigation only, no options to change it).
All the above mentioned problems are reported to the Beta big tracker.
Could someone upload the firmware on a different file sharing site. I can't download the file from drive. It shows an error saying "try after 24 hours"

Haven't tried it. But theoretically you can root it becayse Magisk 19.1 natively supports Android Q.

It will make things a bit accelerated. But last year Mi Mix3, Vivo X21 were part of Pie Beta, but OEMs rolled out updates on their own timeline only.
Let's just keep our fingers crossed.

Actually, you can get gestures and pass full saftynet .
Just get props config module for magisk and change your device fingerprint to Pixel 3 on android 9.
Might need pix3lify module as well.
This might break fingerprint reader. Not sure (I change a lot).

Plus edition : with some customization,like dark theme,long screen shoot, network traffic
Normal edition : pure like pixel
downloading from sourceforge.net using redmi 4x corrupts zip file.
i have downloaded this rom twice from sourceforge .net given link.after flashing device stays stuck at boot google logo.at the site page it says software downloads are not possible in this device and there s button says download anyway,so i think that zip file gets corrupted while downloading.i dont have other device or pc.so pls upload rom to other site than sourceforge,which can allow download at any device.

Which one you downloaded? Both builds booted fine! And the try to download anyway option doesn't corrupt the files, maybe the download was unsuccessful at some point.

Oh bro now I think I understood your problem. You have to wait almost 15mins maximum for ROM to boot first time
Great ROM and thanks a lot for keep doing new builds for this phone
But for future builds could you include the Google Camera and not the camera app that is included in the ROM now?

i downloaded pe plus.i tried waiting for more than 30 minutes.it didnt work.pe caf official still working in my device,so i think problem is not in my device.does pixel e plus has screen recorder.?

Pixel Plus booted on my device and it has a screen recorder hidden inside quick access tiles.

I think some extra customization settings it has.. I've downloaded plus version. working smoothly and I haven't encountered any bugs yet.
