So, we already have a Snapshot version released for our Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 PRO Prime (Kenzo), officially from CyanogenMOD.
This is great but we need a separate space to discuss about these Roms (Nightlies Releases)

Ok, I just noticed that in the other one everyone talks about Nightlies and Other versions at the same place.
Im looking for a way to close the thread myself but Im unable to find it

Forum for Xiaomi MI A1 - Android One Phone

Hello peeps,
@mods will there be any sub-forum for Mi A1...?? i think this would be the 3rd Generation Android one Phone and the first one out of the batch ( considering there will be a HTC U11 Android One phone soon to be launched )
Please create the sub-forums for it. So devs can start discussing and working on TWRP and an official root method. Many Devs are not able to communicate properly due to the lack of a sub-forum for MI A1.
Request you to either create a Android one 3rd generation Cross Device development forum or a specific MI A1 sub forum and kick start the development discussions:fingers-crossed

Actually the phone is very new and launched just 1 week ago.. And as it is flash sell so not a large number of users were able to buy the phone.. If there is a subforum then surely there will be developmental posts coming..

How will development begin if the kernel sources are not yet released by Xiaomi's/Google? Also, the device has just launched. It will definitely take a while for development to kick start

Yes,please make a sub forum.. I think this device will be really popular.. a wide global release is planned. Xiaomi said the phone is slated for sale in 40 countries worldwide

Also waiting for a dedicated forum for the Mi A1. I am from Canada and Xiaomi has finally released a version of the A1 that has the needed bands for our major telcos. Actually I am surprised, given the international reach that Xiaomi is aiming for, that this product is not even more popular...

Mi 8 lite rom development

I know the IF we ever get a custom rom for the Mi 8 lite it is definitively to early to ask for a timeline but my question is more administrative. If we do get a rom, will it be released on this form using the mi 8 lite tag? and in your general opinion will we get a rom for the Mi 8 lite? I just got the phone, hoping that I can live with MIUI but I am seriously doubting that.

Vendor Firmware for mi 9 11.0.5.0 QFACNXM

Dear all! Thhank you for all the amazing custom roms in XDA! Really appreciate all your hardwork and the community spirit that keeps android modding going! :good:
I have been flashing custom roms for years and am very thankful that XDA exists as a means for me to learn on my own with the help of all the users. I have flashed before on Pocophone F1 and Mi 9T Pro. Currently I am doing one for my brother and he bought a Mi 9 Explorer edition. I have already inserted TWRP, decrypted the phone and am now at the process of trying to install Pixel Experience unofficial for the phone.
I have a few questions which i hope the community can help me with:
1) Are the Cepheus roms able to be used for the Mi 9 Explorer edition? Somewhat similar to how the K20 Pro and Mi 9T Pro are?
2) I am having difficulty trying to find a vendor firmware image before flashing the pixel experience rom. Is there any way somebody can point me in the right direction?

Actually for the second question i posted, I forgot to mentions that I am looking specifically for the CN vendor/firmware: 11.0.5.0 QFACNXM. Thanks for pointing me to the post by gianton but unfortunately he did not post any CN versions. I hope you can help me point in the right direction this time. Question When are we going to see custom roms for the Mi 11?

Not to sound a spoiled kid, but I am wondering why there is still no custom rom development for Mi 11? The phone was released for months already.
From what I've heard, the Snapdragon 888 is difficult to work with. Lot's of privacy and partition security/restrictions. And also, only few people in the world owned a Mi 11 because of the "overheating" issue. I noticed that there are tons of development for the Redmi Note 10 Pro and other Xiaomi midrangers because they are more popular.
Not that I hate MIUI, I just want to try new stuff with my phone.

No reason to install custom roms when you have xiaomi.eu

Hopefully soon. I want to see a pixel experience on my 11.

Xiaomi.eu is nice, but not nice enough if you dislike MIUI. Personally, I go for LineageOS, Pixel Experience or crDroid. Even less bloat and even better battery.
