Hi,
I have a Mi 9t Pro with MIUI Global 11.0.5 and Android 10. I installed a security camera client app (Reolink), which is supposed to send notifications when my cameras detect motion. If the screen is unlocked, or if the phone was locked only some minutes ago, I receive the notifications as expected (sound and vibration). But if the phone stays locked(inactive) for a longer period of time, I only receive the notifications after I unlock the screen again. Which absolutely defeats the purpose of motion-triggered notifications.
This is what I have already tried:
Set 'No restrictions' in the App battery saver setting
Enable 'Autostart'
Enable all possible ' App permissions'
Enable all possible ' Other permissions '
Enable 'Show notifications', 'Floating notifications', 'Lock screen notifications', 'Allow sound & vibration & LED light'
Is there something else I can do ?

Hello guys,
I try to set tasker to my new Mate 20 phone. I installed it with all authorizations, and I disabled the automatic save power control.
I set a first task – turn Bluetooth ON at 9AM. The task is running but at 9AM the Bluetooth is steel OFF and on the screen I have a popup “Allow Tasker to enable Bluetooth ?”.
A second task – Put the phone in Vibration mode at 10AM. At 10AM the phone switch to Vibration, but on the screen I have another popup “The vibration mode is activated”.
Why these popups, what I missed ?
Thanks for your help
Sounds like those popups came from another app. Maybe some security app or a preinstalled app from Huawei, which monitors who enables / disables system services. Do you see those popus also when you enable / disable bluetooth in the phone settings?
Try to identify the app / service owner of the popup by pressing long onto the popup. When you see a context menue choose app info.
Hi, I recently bought the Honor Play (model COR-L29), which is running EMUI v 9.0.0.156. Having been an iPhone user since it's first release I am struggling to adapt and find the new settings.
1) "Sensitive content" notifications: Notifications don't show any content (just "tap to open") - in settings > Notifications > Lock Screen Notifications I have "Show" selected and in the apps it is also selected. For example, in Messages > Settings > Notifications, they are allowed and "lock screen notifications" are set to "show".
2) Gmail notification numbers: My "App icon badges" are set to "unread messages", and when I have a missed call, new text message etc. a number is shown on the app icon, however with the Gmail app it does not show a number. I have had to use the built-in email app to get this feature working, and as the gmail app cannot be uninstalled I have two apps doing exactly the same function. How can I get the gmail app to show the number?
3) "Volume down" on the lock screen activates the camera. How do I turn this off? I use the SONOS app to control my speakers and lock screen volume control is enabled, but doesn't seem to work unless I wake the screen up, select the notification and then use the volume control. I'd like to be able to just use the volume control if a music app is running.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: I spoke with a friend who's running a different android device and undestand it better now:
The text message content will only show if the device is unlocked (so if I raise it and it scans my face) and this is apparently default and unchangable.
I was able to disable the volume button from activating the camera, and believe it's the SONOS app that is at fault for volume control when locked, as apple music works just fine with the volume control.
Not sure about the gmail app, hopefully it's also not app-specific, so if anyone has any insights that'd be great, I'll also check google support s it's mainly just the gmail app trouble I'm having now.
Thanks
Hey guys I have huawei p30 pro. My problem is that on the lock screen the Spotify app doesn't display properly. (Not showing song, skip and pause.)
I have checked the lock-screen notification settings, and it's set to showing contents.
I have tried to do the
Settings - Security & Privacy - Face Recognition - Turn off Show Notifications. And it didn't work
I have searched her for a similar problems, and I couldn't find the answer to my issue. I am on global MIUI 11.0.5
I am having a problem with notification badges, ever since the ROM update.
I was using Tesla launcher pro, and now I Poco launcher, no matter what I do, I can't get notification badges to work.
Also I get a WhatsApp call, the screen doesn't light up anymore, and when on silent mode, vibration for WhatsApp doesn't work.
Thank you in advance.
There is a lot of settings for notifications in MIUI 11, there is per app in app properties and there is a notifications option in settings, where you can forbid per app usage of notification badges and lock screen. It's confusing but gives very flexible notifications setup. Just check all this options, may be this is the problem.
btw AOD have it's own settings for notifications and DND also.
I have this problem in the other way. I have activated vibration only for some special notifications, like group messages in WhatsApp but my Mi 9 vibrates everytime I get a notification from WhatsApp
I'm currently using a stock ZenFone 8 with an unlocked bootloader and I'm wondering if there's some way to disable call recorder notifications? Right now call recording works perfectly but after every phone call I get a notification telling me it worked and saved the call. I can't disable this notification because they come from the "Phone calls" app under "Asus Telecom" which is considered a system app which blocks me from disabling it's notifications.
Is there some way I can override this and disable the notifications from "Asus Telecom" without completely changing the OS?
hi, did you find solution? thx
