Hello guys Do you know if p10 receive an update to android 8.1 ?
8.0 isn't even out, yet...so, how would someone know, if Huawei will please their customers by releasing 8.1 - they didn't even made a 7.1 rom for P10.
Probably not. Official 8.0 went live today and that will be all - that's what I think.
But there's always a good chance a talented developer on xda will release a cfw for our phone.
I got my Galaxy tab 2 on 7.1.2 thanks to slim-roms.

No you're not the only one. I've had 3 different honor phones and i can tell you now if you're expecting regular, or even consistent updates, you've bought the wrong phone. Honor are really bad with updates or they'll update one region but not another, e.g both india and Germany have had at least one update, here in the UK we've had none. Honor haven't even put up the stock firmware yet.

i tried to update my P10 VTR-L09C02 to Oreo via Firmware Finder but it doesn't show me any new update , the last one i have on the list is VTR-L09C02B161 and it date is 2018-01-19 .
anyone knows how to update my phone to Oreo ?

I was exactly on the same build VTR-L09C02B161. A couple of weeks ago the Oreo update appeared for me in Firmware Finder and yesterday it got approved. I installed it and everything is working great so far. Check your FF, the update should be there.

Hi m8,
Only Huawei can tell you the day when it will start seeding EMUI 10 in Europe.
What we know for sure, as is stated here, is that the Chinese market will get the stable version before mid-November. My guess is that in Europe it will be released in December.
I just asked the official huawei support when the Android 10 update is going to be released in Finland and they responded that it will be delivered in batches during november.

That's great, then you will have to wait and see if you're in the first batch for EMUI 10 in November or in for December, as Huawei UK stated here.

Today it comes here in Germany only 802 MB because I have installed EMUI 12 Beta this update is to Stable Release. Wen you comes from EMUI 11 it is about 3 GB

It will have as the mate 20 Oro was Android certified before the Ban on Chinese tech firms.
The update is bringing EMUI 12 not Android 12.
