lag while using my gear vr - Samsung Gear VR

I had connected the my gear vr year ago and had been working without any problems on my smasung galaxy note 5
:good: :good: , and after that I uninstalled all gear vr apps and made factory reset
A week ago I connected gear vr to setup Oculus and all gear vr apps and I have noticed lagging with vr view
Is the latest update the cause of the problem ??
Is there a way to downgrade to the old version of gear vr system apps ?
Or because the support stopped in 2020???

[Q] Gear not connecting to my Samsung now

Hello!
I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace3 LTE (GT-S7275R) running on stock firmware and a Galaxy Gear 1. The gear was working perfect and suddenly the gear manager started to show the incompatibility error. When I upgraded my gear to tizen, The same error is there. Anyway to get it working again like before?

[Q] Galaxy Gear + Galaxy S6 Edge?

Hi guys,
Recently i went back to Sammy after a good time with LG. I have used my GG through my S4,G3 and now i want to pair it up nicely with my Galaxy S6 Edge. Hmm.. has anyone tried this? does it work? How can i pair it to have notifications and all, i have years away from the GG community !
I would greatly appreciate your wise suggestions and understanding to make my loved GG work with my S6. I'm running on Null's.
I have no solution, but I also have a problem with my S6 and Galaxy gear(SM-V700). In Gear manager they find eachother but it Always ends in Connection failed and they refuse to pair in gear manager. Bluetooth-pairing is no problem strangely enough.
I did manage to pair my galaxy gear successfully to my S6 when the gear was running Android, but this problem started when I upgraded it to Tizen.

Update: Solved it! And for me, it was very easy. I forgot I havent tried to clear the app cache. I Went though all gear apps and removed both data and cache for them. Now it works like magic. I hope this helps op aswell.
Hi guys i came back to say i have a fully working Galaxy Gear with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
My S6 Edge updated it's software, and upon that the pairing with the Gear app on the S6 and the Galaxy Gear was seamless. Notifications and everything are fully working, i'm in Null's rom.
The only thing is that i want to install cool watch faces and new launchers to my Galaxy Gear. I've been away from the forums so i actually dont know... after all these years... what new android wear like features, and cool things i can install to a Null Rom, Galaxy Gear.
Watchstyler works perfectly!!

What about this new Gear manager?

Apparently they just released a non samsung gear manager exclusively for the S2. I can confirm that it doesnt work for me with the Gear one. I hoped they accidentally left some Gear 1 support in there, but no. It doesnt work. Then again, nothing samsung works on the Oneplus Two, so YMMV. Maybe it works for you guys.

Gear VR Service Fix with Deodexed rom?

Some deodexed roms do not have Gear VR support anymore, when I plug my phone in the headset it will not load the VR. Do we know of any fix or zip to flash to fix the issue to be able to use the Gear VR on some roms?

Gear VR apps now work without gear VR headset (in developer mode)

Guys, I do not have a Gear VR but I use a developer board with the same sensors.
After flashing Oculus DK1 firmware onto the board I can play Gear VR stuff in developer mode. Works great.
Yesterday I was messing about and as I mis the touchpad input sometimes I need to take my Phone out of the VR unit. (Zeiss VR ONE)
To my amazement head tracking was still working without the developer board plugged into my S6 Edge. (Sideload youtube VR app)
I went back into Oculus home and headtracking was still working! tested some apps and all of them now work without the GEAR VR sensores in Developer mode!
So if you have a samsung but no gear VR you can still play all gear VR stuff! Have fun with it!
