I have a Nokia 2. I can't unlock blotoader, so I have the idea to do a Root. But also doesn't work. I try everything: The unlock blotoader, Kingroot, Iroot and nothing works. I have the debugging on.
Anyone knows the solution?

Maybe there should be a section for Nokia 2.2.
I'm trying to root a Nokia 2.2, following the steps from Magisk official github page.
I cannot find the stock boot.img for the Nokia 2.2. Question: would the boot.img for the Nokia 2.1 (and others in the series, Nokia 2, Nokia 2.3, etc), be the same for the Nokia 2.2?

Hello! I've aquired an HTC First a while ago. I've had some experience rooting my Sharp (forget which model it was), and my Pantech Pocket (P9060), but both times i've had access to a Windows PC, but this time, i'm trying to root my HTC First (Jelly Bean 4.1.2) but I don't have a pc that I can use to root my phone. I've done it before with my brother's First as well with a pc. But i'm trying to find an app or a method that I can use to root it without a computer. I've tried Framaroot, but only two of the available exploits would show (Gandalf and Aragorn) and none worked. I've tried Key Root Master to no avail as well. I've even tried Poot, but nothing seems to work for my device. Is there anything I can do?

You need a computer..... because you need unblock de booloader (fastboot) for root de phone an install a custom recovery.
I'm fine now, I used my mom's laptop to root my phone. I was just seeing if there was anything I could do while I was lacking the PC.
what did you use to root it with. or how did you do it

I changed jobs so I had to switch phones. I had my old Note 3 still that I loved. I foolishly got excited once I found out that lollipop had released for the Note 3. I instantly did the software update. I don't know if that is my problem or not, but I can not find any working ROOT. I have tried Towelroot, and CF Auto Root, but can't get either one to succesfully root the phone. Does anyone know of a guide, or working ROOT for my phone. I have posted a pic of my Device info. SOMEONE PLEASE HELPPPP!!!!!!

I have seen talk of ppl trying things out as to how to roll back from 6.6 to 6.5 in order to unlock the bootloader, install yerp, etc. Has anybody on this forum heard of anything I could try? I obviously didn't do my research on the phone before updating it but I do have average experience with rooting, using Android SDK and spft so any suggestions are welcome!
it has been mentioned that the only downgradable (or workable) v6.6 is when it is installed using the SAFE method.

but if not, as ColtonDRG himself said : "The V6.6 update brought a new preloader that breaks our ability to use SPFT. I am currently working on ways to reverse the damage, but as of right now, there is no way to convert (or downgrade) from software V6.6."
I have not yet rooted it so everything is still stock so upgrading via the safe method doesn't really apply for me. Thanks anyways, guess I'll be waiting for a new root method to come about. Hopefully ppl haven't already forgotten about this phone lol.

I searched online for a guide and I found that you need to install a older firmware since the newer one doesn't have the OEM unlocking. I successfully installed the old firmware, but, I still don't see that option, only USB debugging. Can someone help me?

you have to downgrade the device to a stock rom which is v25 update. and now you can see it. just i found it. i hope you fix that.

I'm looking for a guide to root Galaxy M21 running Android 11.
I tried browsing but wasn't able to find/decide which guide/way was the safest to go.
I need to root the phone in order to access some files created by an app (similar to AppData on Windows OS). So I need root access in order to browse/copy from the filesystem.
So, anything that can do this works for me. I don't need custom ROMS or anything fancy. The easier, the better - as long as it can do the job. I also want something safe (secure) for rooting.
The exact model is: SM-M215F/DSN.
I'm using Windows OS and I'm familiar or can easily understand root & firmware flashing tools.
