Is it normal that the xiaomi unlock tool requires 168 hours (7 days) wait to unlock the phone?
I read somewhere it's supposed to be 3 days and other places say 10 days.
it's normal and standard, nothing you can do about it...I also had to wait 10 days (not sure if ever heard about 3 days for Mi 9 Lite, maybe it depends on device)
10 days? So how come mine 168 hours (7 day)?
For me it is also exactly 168 hours.

Hi,
As I almost didn't have to reboot my Note for a while I'm wondering what is the average uptime of everybody's Note 4.
You can check the uptime in hours here: Settings -> About device -> Status -> Up time.
Answers:
less than 1 week (168 hours)
more than 1 week (168 hours)
more than 2 weeks (336 hours)
more than 1 month (732 hours)
more than 2 months (1464 hours)
more than 3 months (2196 hours)
I treat my phone like a pc and reboot it every 2-3 days to clean memory occupied by leftovers of closed apps.

I reboot once a week.
I treat Note 4 as pretty stable device. I almost don't need to restart it.
I'm getting longest uptime with Note 4 since... Symbian
I had to restart Nexus few times a week.
I restart whenever I load new Xposed framework modules, or said modules get updated and need the phone to reboot.
Considering how quickly my device reboots (less than 30 seconds roughly), I could care less about "uptime."
What I care about is during the time that the device is up and online is if said device is stable and handles all of its functions properly and efficiently.
Its a pocket computer with always on internet, gps, bluetooth, camera etc. Oh and it makes phone calls also. If it does those things without crashing or locking up, then does the occasional reboot to handle system or app updates really matter in the long run? I don't think it does.
Currently I own a second battery with it's charger pack and cause I use the **** out of this phone I swap the battery 3-4 times a day. So I have an uptime of 8 hours at average
Mine is 166 because I replaced a Sim Card.
734 hours (30.5 days)! That's a world record for me of the Android Phone.
I think mine will last till Lollipop update. It might still take a month.
Really impressed. Because I had either to restart every few days because of the lag or 0% battery all my previous Android phones.
Whenever I remember it, usually 2 weeks

Is there a way to determine how long the MI9 has been used since it was built ?
How many hours on the clock so to speak.
I tried unlocking my phone using mi unlock and it showed 168 hours wait time.
I waited for a week and I tried again today to see if it works, but I am still getting 168 hours wait time wtf ?
Atleast it should say remaining hours if 168 hours is not passed ?
Any way to bypass this ?
I tried other mi account as well but same 168 hours is showing.
Pissing me Off :crying:
Please Help !
Try with this one:
Here is the download link for miflash 2.2.406.5: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=889764386195901972
Did you bind your account in deveolper option Mi unlock status..?
After binding your mi account do not logout your account or modify settings like region etc for 168 hours,
Then try again with Mi tool
Sad to hear this. Because I just first time tried today & it showed 168 hours
Latest unlock tool says you need to use your phone actively and connected to internet. Not sure if you guys did that. I had the same issue with my second phone (Redmi note 7). I powered it off and waited one week and still had 168 hours. I hope my Mi 9T Pro arrive tomorrow. Instant unlock would be great lol.
Hello guys,
I will try to be as short as possible. Brand new S10 (one week):
Day 1 - Unboxed, charged to 100%. Battery drained in less than two hours only light usage (settings and such).
Day 2 - Fully charged, SOT less than 2 hours.
Day 3 - AOD off, addaptive battery on, night mode, 3G (yes 3G becasue i heard will drain less battery), no raise to wake. SoT 2 hours, only used Facebook Messenger.
Day 4 - Fully factory reset.....Nothing changed...same SoT.
Can't be normal. I came from a 3 years old Iphone 6s which gave me with heavy usage 5 hours SoT.(LTE).
I am desperate right now. I barrely touch the phone and lose battery like crazy. Only used Messenger and few minutes of browsing...Please Check Picture. Btw (i cheched battery health and is like 95%). Even 95% health should give me at least 4 Hours SoT.
My fiancee Xiaomi Mi A1 which is 2 years old gave her freacking 9 hours of SoT and alot of gaming, and a brand new S10 ony two hours if im lucky.
Is my unit defective or someting? Please help me. I have exynos versions with november patch.
Thank you.

not sure if id say its defective, but its not normal. You could flash the stock firmware manually via Odin with the CSC not the HOME_CSC to allow it to be factory reset the hard way and see if the kernel behaves more appropriately. Not having this phone, i dont have any direct hands-on experience with it, but i have seen a ton of posts with the same issue youre having. Either return it or manually flash the stock firmware as what youre experiencing isnt normal
fwiw: i had the A8 and "upgraded" to the S9 and the battery life hasnt ever matched up with the A8 with identical usage patterns. Not sure what sammy is doing nowadays, but it hasnt been ideal for me at least

yes you can. network lock just means that you would need patched Odin if you wanted to flash a different carriers firmware. If you can download it from sammobile.com/firmwares, then you can flash it in Odin
Hey. I received an Android 10 update on my Mi 9 lite a week ago. Do you recommend doing factory reset after the major update?
It's running relatively fine, quicker reactions (except the recent apps menu, still lagging), but the battery lasts like 5 hours SOT. Android process is relatively high. It's 4000mah, everyone is reporting sot like 8 at least. I mean I had sot like this before the update but still. I have dark mode everywhere it's possible (wallpaper, even chrome) so I expected like 10 hours and I have possibly less sot than on my previous redmi note 5/3.
Is it recommended, in general, to do a factory reset after a major update? Concretely on Mi 9 lite?
Thank you
I do always factory reset.Try it.
