I'm not unable to get into settings now after updating through magisk. Weird. I did disable the magisk modules. I click the settings button in the quicksettings shade and it force closes and there is no settings app.

Resolved by disabling "OOS Native Call Recording Enabler" Magisk module.
Can confirm working perfectly with magisk.
Also look like the OS is faster and much more fluid.

I am on beta and have faced it for sometime, even on previous builds. I also read of others facing the same issue but didn't find a solution or cause for it.
Also noticed that while the screen is black you can actually tap the PIN and it will register the taps.

Quote from OnePlus forum
Hello everyone,
It’s time to release the next OxygenOS Open Beta for both the OnePlus 3.
First off, like Tony always says, thank you for your feedback and bug reports. If it wasn’t for all of your help, we would never have managed to grow and improve as fast as we have.
Release notes and feature changes in this Open Beta build:
All new launcher, added support for shortcuts on 7.1.1
Redesigned app drawer
Redesigned UI for launcher settings
Added status bar icon option to display real time network speed
Added Notification Denoising
Added Gaming Do Not Disturb mode
Added automatic Night Mode
Added Secure Box for file encryption
Optimized touch latency
Optimized camera EIS for videos
Improved contacts management with linking and merge functions
Added quick pay option for India
Bug fixes and general improvements
I’d also like to add some basic info for a few of the features that are not self-explanatory.
Spoiler: Basic info
Please make sure you take a bit of time to fill out our survey on UX & UI here: https://goo.gl/forms/4QApN5zxV3IJ8Frd2.
The names of some of the new features may change based on your feedback!
Also, remember to tell us about any bugs you may find using the bug report forums, found here.
Please note:
If you have already flashed an Open Beta (you are currently running the latest Open Beta) you will receive this new build as an OTA.
If you ARE NOT running open beta software and would like to, please refer to the flashing instructions found here:
Once you migrate to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs. You will NO LONGER receive the regular Official Stable OTAs.
Moving back to the Official OTA path from the Beta path will require a clean flash (FULL WIPE of all data and cache)
If you want to clean flash this build and start beta testing please go here and follow the instructions: http://downloads.oneplus.net/oneplus-3/oneplus_3_oxygenos_openbeta_13/
PS: I’m sure you’ve noticed that @Tony L. did not post this. For all future beta build posts, Adam Krisko will be the main point of contact. He's currently in the process of taking over the Beta Program from him, so he can focus on the MP Early Access Program and future OTA versions of our software

That's one hell of a changelog!!!
They even mentioned touch latency!
Gonna flash it this week-end for sure.

Hi,
1-Redesigned UI for launcher settings
We’ve simplified the Settings options and added another gesture to get to them quickly, a pinch motion from the homepage of your launcher.
2-Notification denoising
This is to allow priority levels to be assigned to peek notifications and will let you grant only the most important apps and their notifications the ability to interrupt you. This feature can be found under Settings>Device>Notifications
3-Gaming Do Not Disturb mode
This allows you to lock the capacitive and home buttons while gaming or in other apps where it’s easy to hit those buttons buttons unintentionally. This feature can be found in Settings>Advanced>Gaming Mode
4-Automatic Night mode
You are now able to set Night Mode to activate and deactivate at a certain time or according to a specific cycle of day and night. This can be found under settings>Display>Night Mode
5-Secure Box
This is for all files (including pictures and video) that should not be easily accessible to other people. It can be set up with its own pin, and once items are moved (by long pressing and selecting “set as secure” in the settings option) they can only be viewed in the secure box portion of the file manager. This can be found under Apps>File Manager>Secure Box
6-Quick Pay (India primarily)
This will allow users to set up a QR-based quick pay feature that can be quickly accessed while the screen is either on or off with a long press of the home button. This will only activate right now if one of the following apps is installed: Paytm, Wechat, or Alipay. This can be found in Settings>Security & Fingerprint>Quick Pay

There's now no difference between oos and h2os. Just little pros of h2os still stands, such as in call sound recorder. But I consider if oos ob 13 has such a great battery life like h2os?

I find it completely unreasonable to take the time to backport such an unnecessary feature (camera watermark) to the current camera v1.4.
Don't they really have anything more important to tackle?!
People are asking for several things to fix or improve since beta 1. But suddenly the OP5 is released with this useless feature and a vocal minority asks for watermarks in their forums on a daily basis...
I guess they can say they listen to the community by adding this nonsense In my opinion this is nothing but free promotion for OnePlus on social media or a way to brag about your own device.
I can't understand who would want to use this to ruin his photos?!
Why not update the camera to v2.0 directly then?!
Did anybody flash this and can say which camera version is implemented?
I am liking this new update. Brightness issues (becoming dark always) has solved in this version. Feels more smooth and display a way better.

As Redmi as usual messes up naming convention, we ended up having three names for same device - Redmi Note 9 4G (CN), Redmi 9T (EU) and Redmi 9 Power (IN)
I had spent a day on best way to remove ads in our device and ended up reinstalling ROM altogether
I reached to Dev and he helped with progress on this here https://github.com/geoanto555/android_device_xiaomi_lime/issues/1
Usual device-specific Data Backup/unlocking/rooting warnings apply here, and this is just a guide
Req:
* SD Card or USB OTG
* Download latest Recovery https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=320361
* Download Stable ROM https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/miui-12-0-stable-release.56191/ (You can experiment with Beta ROMs if courageous)
* Download Full fastboot MIUI image to recover phone in case required
* fastboot getvar product -> Should output "lime"
1. Unlock your phone via official unlocking tool (Yeah it still takes 7 full days)
2. Once unlocked, Boot to fastboot mode (Volume Down + Power when the phone is switched off)
3. Flash Recovery and boot TWRP using below commands
cmd>fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Sending 'recovery' (131072 KB) OKAY [ 3.037s]
Writing 'recovery' OKAY [ 1.198s]
Finished. Total time: 4.586s
cmd>fastboot reboot-recovery
Rebooting into recovery OKAY [ 0.006s]
Finished. Total time: 0.011s
4. After rebooting to TWRP, It'll show FBE Decryption failed. Even Formatting Data wont help
5. Mount USB/SDcard. Install .zip on OTG/SDcard via TWRP
6. Format /data after ROM is flashed
7. Reboot and Profit

I see. Should I just unlock bootloader and move to xiaomi.eu pr downgrade entirely to Redmi 9? I just want to get the agressive ram issue solved.
I removed all the bloatware and stuff and im still wondering if i download custom rom, will my phone perform better in games?

Do you have any idea when they're going to stabalize it?
I faced another issue while playing games. I'm suffering from ghost touching. The game runs smoothly in the begining, but randomly my screen won't respond for like 0.5 sec and if i lift my finger, it returns to normal and the cycle continues.
I've uninstalled all the bloatwares and i even have phonecooler, so heating etc ain't the problem

From Alpha to stable, + or - 8 to 18 months, it depends on the developer and for some of the Xiaomi updates.
Check here the build numbers for the Poco f2 pro with a hard working developer.

Ok, thank you. Lastly, once the new miui update comes and after installing it, do i have to remove all the bloatware again?

What rom did you have and what rom did you want to install? (full name, numbers and letters).
Is the bootloader unlocked?
To use Miflash, you must download a fastboot rom (tgz) and extract the rom folder (see the tutorial)

Honestly, I totally forgot it and was so scared that I pricked my phone... Mi flash program gave me some weird error "Anti Rollback check error", but then I found a very weird solution for it. I solved this by moving the whole package directly to my E: drive. So the path had become "E:\Batman_global_images_V10.3.6.0.PFJMIXM_20190603.0000.00_9.0_global\flash_all.bat" instead of "E:\*********\Desktop\adb\MiFlash20180528\Batman_global_images_V10.3.6.0.PFJMIXM_20190603.0000.00_9.0_global\flash_all.bat". And I made 2-folders inside Mi flash folder, named "log" and "new folder".
I thank again for your effort, Sensei..

Sensei, it's me, your favorite idiot.
Suddenly, my phones display is locked at 60hz and i couldn't switch it back to 120.. I downloaded app and i changed it back, but my question is, why would Xiaomi lock it at 60hz? Is my phone in mortal danger now that i "forcefully" changed it?
