okay so I'm getting the droid 3 in a few days and I have my 4glte sim card from my pantech breakout, it has my number on it and my question is can I use it on the droid 3 ?? please people help me!

No, you can't. 3g doesn't require a sim card on Verizon. You have to activate it online or over the phone or at a Verizon store and your plan will get converted to 3g.

I have 3G with SIM
so I can't put my sim card in it? I need it to work what about sim lock? how do I do that?

He has a 4G LTE sim, which will do nothing in a 3g only phone. The 883 flash works with a gsm sim only.

They are the same size physically, but they don't work the same. The 4g SIM that verizon uses only carries information about how to connect to the LTE network, it doesn't do anything about connecting to the CDMA network. A 3g SIM carries information about how to connect to a GSM network, also not a CDMA network. In order to connect to a CDMA network, the phone needs to be manually activated with the carrier, and that requires them entering the ESN or MEID into the system.
Hello, a few weeks ago I unlocked my HTC one that was locked on sprint, I am from Romania and I am using Vodafone as my network provider. The phone works perfectly except the 4G mobile network. Vodafone provides me the 4G but on my phone works only as Gsm connection. Please help me. Thank you

Okay so I have an AT&T Note 3. And Im tired of dealing with AT&T haha. Too pricey. Is there any way I can use mine on T Mobiles network? Fixing to order a sim card from them. Will it work?

You have to obtain a SIM unlock code. You can either call at&t if your the original owner and get one for free. I go overseas a lot so they gave it to me. Or you can obtain one for a price online.
If the phone is or gets blacklisted, it won't work on at&t or tmobile anymore.

However, the service is not as good as a full blown T-Mobile phone and there will be no wifi calling. I am debatig on selling this and buying the T-Mobile brand phone...
If you do not care about wifi calling you can install the T-Mobile Rom on the ATT Note 3. I did and the phone service was much better.

It is fairly straightforward. Was easy to install.
Once I installed the TMO os on the phone it WORKED BETTER. Again, I cannot wifi call but adding the tmo carrier option via the Modificatinator helped a lot and it FIXED THE GPS issue. It's obvious the GPS issue is ATT related. Was not easy adding the additional TMO carrier options on the Modificatinator but once figured it was cake.

It will most certainly work on T-Mobile if you ended your contract/relationship with ATT legally/appropriately. Visit - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2485441 for some really important information while switching. There are changes to build.prop that can improve 4G speed , reception , etc.

sometimes its the sim card, i unlocked my freinds note 2 and tried hours getting 4g LTE on it, and then i popped in MY sim card, and the 4g lte worked. so she went out and got a new sim card and now she has 4g LTE.
Dang that sucks haha.

Moto X2: 4G LTE medium signal
The design and infrastructure if the Moto is just better?
