I am looking to try miui 12. I'm currently on miui 11 stable. Which miui 12 rom is the smoothest without major bugs and has the most SOT.
I'd be choosing between one of these:
xiaomi.eu
mmx
masik
miroom
memeui
miui global
miuipro
If ya wanna know u should find out urself. If u have soeme patience u can try all these roms y not?
You forgot China closed beta. Tried many roms. For me it's actually best in performance and stability. Only problem is that there are only Chinese and English language.

Currently using 20.5.28, switched from Miui 11 stable. So far so good.

RevOS sucks. No more users for fix bugs. Only on telegram. Moderators make revos for what? Make money?
I tried the last build... Clean flash and launcher crash.
No gapps included.
On miui 11 they was the best team.
Now xiaomi.eu or mmx are better.

I've been using mmx for a long time, I prefer it over miui.eu even though it's based on it, has couple of nice added features.

How do you find out about these projects?
If you need English I would avoid MIUI Pro. They dropped support/translation for English a couple of months back.

Hello all.
I just received my mi9 and I don't like at all this stock MIUI rom.
First thing, where can I see if I have the EEA, or global ROM ?
And secondly, after unlocking my device and flashing twrp, what rom could be the best ? Maybe xiaomi.eu, revolutionOS, flokoRom ?
No AOSP based ROM at the moment ( I would love to flash an AOSP based ROM , like my good old One plus 3 )
And battery life is just horrible in stock ROM..

You could try GSI roms, but they are not stable enough for me right now.
Im now on ROS. With magisk and lawnchair it's running great and feels a lil bit like aosp. Better than stock

Try the latest Gloabal Dev, honestly, with a newly coming Xiaomi phones, usually I found the stable is not as stable as Dev versions [emoji23][emoji23]

You should read the FAQ and forum before asking such questions, as a senior member you should know that
Anyways, unlocking usually requires a 15 day waiting / grace-period, so I'd start doing that now and you'll have another two weeks to read all the ROM/flash/root topics here.

Actually, I am on stock MIUI rom, because it's stable and because there isn't a good alternative. Most of custom roms are still in development and not completed.
Even GSI, it's not very stable. So, not recommended for daily usage.
In future i think I'll go with custom rom. Maybe LineageOs. I used it on other devices in past years... It's really clean, optimized and well supported.
Global Dev, although still some bugs it's quite stable and reliable.
Will probably switch to a custom ROM once a stable version based on sleak AOSP is available. But I don't trust ROMs from unknown sources so minimum requirement is documented open-source development, e. g. Github. On the previous phone, Oneplus 2, I still run LineageOS at complete satisfaction. Still supplying weekly updates for a four year old device.

Its has only 5-7 languages in my knowledge. Since i need only English i really don't care about it. Used MS rom in Mi8 (really likes) and now waiting for bootloader unlock in Mi9 to flash MS rom
Regarding Gpay there is a fix. So no issues. And its comes with some bloatware removed so i think battery will be ok...

LineAgeOS (LOS). It's only a unofficial version but works well and is exactly what I need: Stable, simple to use and hopefully in future (official status) with daily update function.

if you like aosp, i'd recommend beastrom! lots of customization and stable. might wanna flash 27th build though, latest has slightly higher battery drain...

But directly unlock with fingerprint isn't working in beast rom. This is for me a reason why to stay on xiaomi.eu

If you like xiaomi.eu could always try globe rom from rom builder website, has a few more customizations it's based on xiaomi.eu
Xiaomi 11 miui12.5 doesn't work at all. Hope to release the ROM of pixelexperience as soon as possible

Personally I am on 12.0.7 official Chinese rom and everything is fine... Will check next week to flash on Xiaomi.eu rom

Hey I apologize for my late response, I was busy with taking my final exams. So yeah let me just mention. I have tried Evolution X both A12,13, Cr Droid, Covrus, Arrow Os A13, PPUi, PE, Cherish Os, Project Elixir, Superior Os, Raven Ui and Leon Ui. When depends on your preferable interface, If you are into stock AOSP experience then Evolution X is all that I can easily recommend and if you are into Port Rom then Leon Os is tha best.

I will but that's a modification from an Indonesian or Malaysian YouTuber, I just didn't understand the language he was using while reviewing his rom.

Unfortunately not, specially with this device, the stock/official ROM is terrible laggy. I found the AbhiX ROG Edition By Dark Raven 22.4.13 Beta, the better and faster from all the Miui stock based ROMs.
First booting, deleting all the bloatware stuff apps, removing animation effects, all is ok by now.

Well, my post was comparing within Miui custom ROMs based, BUT, no doubt, (almost) any AOSP based ROM works noticeably better and faster in general terms.
I had an astonishing performance with AncientOS, so any time I could return to it.

sry for just changing my question , but i was thinking to use differnt custom rom , so i finalized between superior os and cdroid , they both have custom icon pack support in deafult luancher , which do u suggest , i was thinking acient os but well
