[Q] Can't Backup my Data to Google

I cant sync my app data, personal data and so on. Whats the problem?
When I head to the "Backup & reset" options the "Backup account" - Field is gray.
It says "No account is currently storing backed up data"
Flashed gapps now two times, wiped cache. Still doesnt work. Any advice?

The account works ??? For example Play Store and so on...
What Android Version ,MOD-Version do you have? 4.2 or 4.3 ? Are you using the right Gapps???

Same problems for me to ,only that I am on i9001

Im on GamerzRom V4 Android 4.2.2
I've flashed gapps more times now, still not working.
Is there any ADB command I can use?

Before flashing new version have you tested a full wipe??? maybe with a backup with CMW-Recovery before doing it ...
and then install your ROM and gapps ...

Thats what I've done. I wiped everything.
PlayStore and everything is working except the data Backups

And i think you have not deleted any sync apps, right???
Account sync is on???
Using a firewall???

Sure, Account Sync is on, I didn't delete anything. I didn't modify gapps at all and I have no firewall.
No idea what I can do now. I hope that the next Rom Update will solve this problem

Now I installed another ROM but this didn't fix the Error
Any suggestions?

found this over at MIUI and wonder if anyone has tested this with H60-04 and know if this works?
theres two versions, the TD-SCDMA and WCDMA, also wondering if its the latter working with european versionof H60-04?can anyone confirm this pls!
i havent found any flashing guide for this either, but im hopefull someone will post one soon?

WCDMA one is working on european variant. Its simple TWRP flash but you MUST have KitKat EMUI on your phone in order it to flash correctly.

Find it out somewhere if its LP or Kitkat based, last time I used MIUI V7 is was still Kitkat

B803 to european lollipop to get proper beta updates.

I have Miui 7 working, and I think the solution to your problem is to format / data and /data / media .
You can find it using CWM Recovery on mounts and storage > format / data and /data /media.
The problem with this rom is the gapps.

which one are you running now?i got the downgrade package for B807 now and will post it after i have tested it myself first i need to do TWRP restore to 807

That downgrade you found worked on B803 atleast. Now onto B550 and then B521

oh, did you get back to B521?did you flash it before B500 or after?i got some error when trying to install the B521 from B500
so, at the moment im running B500
thinking i will probably go to B370 tomorrow then and test out the MIUI v7

From B803 ---> B550 ---> Dirty flash B521 and after that used 3 button method with B521 UPDATE.APP. Now downloading European BETA via OTA

so i need to use ext unpacker as well then to access those files?cause there is no cache.img and user.img in my B521 update file. (checked with extraction tool)

I've just seen on you tube that any xiaomie smartphone can be rooted with twrp by downloading the correct twrp and renameing it update. Zip and flashing it through the inbuilt updater app? My laptops broke and need to flash this lovely phone am I correct?

Just got a laptop im on miui 9 on global stable with unlocked bootloader im sitting here reading alot of issus people r haveing with twrp could you run me through the right twrp, ive got superuser and dm verification just worried about the right twrp

Format data using twrp, this will remove encryption from your twrp as well but make sure to save your data somewhere because this will format your internal storage as well.

Question Persist file request

Can someone please send me a backup of persist file because the ROM does not that and I bricked my device without a backup now orientation sensor is In a loop from 0 to 360. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Lol I've got miui 13.6 global and miui 12.5 on which the device came with both global and running pixel experience plus so will help man.

you are supposted to extract it to /sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS/(serialnumber) not flash it

if someone has a persist.img please send it so I can flash it using
./fastboot flash persist location/of/persist.img
would help a lot.

Okay, so what I did was that I created a persist backup of mine delete its content and then replaced then with the contents of the one @tutibreaker sent me here and now still the compass is constantly ramping up in a loop but slower.
any solutions. I think the device is making its own when it needs it as it asked for unlocking but then changed back to normal without me unlocking it.

are you using miui 13? because i thought miui 13 had an issue with the compass

I flashed the persist on miui 13 then from the past some days I've been shifting from miui 12.5 to 13 to custom ROM tho it shouldn't change the persist. And at first the raise to wake-up also glitched but now it's working fine so idk there was an issue of compass it skipped points and jumped to some instant and after I sent it to the company then it came back and was working fine before I bricked it.
