Before Flashing:

Jiocall app workaround
I know that Volte might not be possible ever in realme 1. But JIOCALL app is also not working in any of the custom rom. I really want to use this rom , but the only thing stopping me is that my sms/calls will not work. Can you please share any info if you have to make jiocall app work..

If JioCall app is not detecting Jio SIM:
Go to App Info of JioCall, Click on "SMS App" and select JioCall. Then force stop JioCall app. Then launch it again. It will show configuration now :laugh::good:
If JioCall app is showing the error "Please use your stock dialer as this is a VoLTE phone":
Force stop JioCall App. Use any file manager and delete ".JioCall" folder from Internal Storage. Make sure to use a powerful file manager, as .JioCall is a hidden folder. Now clear data of JioCall. And launch again. Now it will start working properly

Did the same, twice, but if i am trying to call someone, it is taking me to the default dialer & i am not receiving and calls/sms also

Are you sure you deleted the .JioCall folder?
There are 2 folders:- .JioCall & JioCallFiles
Try deleting both then clear data. Then launch again.
Also try disabling VoLTE first by pressing and holding the Mobile Data toggle in Notification Panel

For screen recording, use any screen recording app from play store.
Don't update magisk, only 20.1 and 20.3 works in Android 10 custom roms for realme 1. You can update the app (Magisk Manager) but don't update magisk.
While using headphones can't adjust voice volume during calls. It stays on highest volume.

Root with magisk and hide root access for Payment apps. Then see those apps will work.

1.Downgrade to latest OOS pie + Twrp
2. Boot into oos - enable developer settings - debugging mode
3. Reboot to Twrp - flash Xtended + Twrp installer
4. Reboot to recovery - flash gapps & magisk
5. Reboot to system - profit.
6. If it doesn't boot - recovery - wipe data - yes - Reboot.
Coming from oos pie or other roms
1. Go to recovery
2.Wipe data, dalvik,
3. Reboot to Twrp - flash Xtended + Twrp installer
4. Reboot to recovery - flash gapps & magisk
5. Reboot to system - profit.
6. If it doesn't boot - recovery - wipe data - yes - Reboot.

Use a actual browser... For some strange reason the XDA app links to PayPal...i have downloaded it through Chrome

Flashing on normal devices is love. On A/B it's a pia.... Such complicated process coz Google doesn't want people to use custom roms may be. ?
They aren't getting as much analytics as they get in stock roms.

Just did a dirty flash over Evolution and all working fine apart from Google Apps crashing.
Which Gapps are to be flashed? Unofficial OpenGapps 10 or Official Gapps 9?

Good question, as Android 10 is greyed out. I'll suggest the unofficial for Android 10 for certain.
Brave move dirty flashing over Evolution (as that's the ROM I'm currently on too)

The above were tested based on Xtended-XR-v1.0-phoenix-OFFICIAL-20201014.
Updated to 20201016 and tried it for a while. Built-in camera doesn't work nor does modded Google Camera. Reverted back to 20201014 build.

Optimus Drunk Kernel v11.0 works in this rom. Great :good:
No matter what I try, I end up getting Error code 1 when I try to install. I followed the steps to the dot mentioned in the OP, But it seems that I may be doing something wrong. Can someone help me with this.
The first installation is quite complicated but subsequent update is easy. This is how I install:-
1) # fastboot flash recovery recovery-TWRP-3.4.2B-0624-REDMI_K30-CN-wzsx150.img (install twrp from pc)
Recovery -> Wipe > Format data -> reboot to recovery
Recovery -> Copy rom files (stock rom, Xtended rom, Gapp, Magisk) from Pc to phone storage -> reboot to fastboot mode
2) # fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.4.0-14-phoenix-unified-mauronofrio.img (install twrp from pc)
Recovery -> Install -> stock rom (miui_PHOENIX_V12.0.5.0.QGHCNXM_fc51e1211b_10.0.zip)
-> Wipe -> Swipe to Factory Reset
-> Install -> Android 11 rom (Xtended-XR-v1.0-phoenix-OFFICIAL-20201014.zip or latest)-> Reboot
3) Recovery -> Install -> Gapp (NikGapps-omni-arm64-11-20201010-signed.zip) -> reboot
4) Recovery -> Install -> Root (Magisk-21.0) -> Reboot

My Oneplus One died and no amount of tinkering with it can revive it(Already replaced LCD twice, motherboard, power and volume buttons, etc...).
I'm moving on to another phone and I'm particularly interested in Poco X2.
I was looking around and I saw a fairly priced used Redmi K30 China rom with an unlocked bootloader. I'm thinking of buying that.
I'm used to LineageOS, as they still release official nightlies for Oneplus One. I think if I were to move on to my purchase of the Redmi K30, I'll be flashing this ROM since I like the simplicity of it.
I just have a query, since the Poco X2/Redmi K30 has 120hz, if I flash this rom can I tweak it to just 60hz?
Looking forward to this rom and thanks @jngiag for the detailed instructions and the dev team for making this rom.
There is an option to select 60/90/120 Hz. No further tweak is needed. To confirm it, there is an option to display the refresh rate in the developer option if you need it.
This rom is very stable and has very good power usage.

Android Auto is not working. It is working in Android 11 DerpFest. I have tried all other Android 11 roms. This is one of the best Android 11 rom.

in my opinion yes if you ignored sound output
u have many features in setting for customize such active fp without wake up screen how i dont see in any aosp for mi10.
rom is stable and full of features how works well.
antena strength also like a miui rom without any lose antena
i think this rom very smooth and clean
only issue i have with this rom sound output level is low and i cant play game
and forget mention that installing this rom is easy unlike other aosp rom with full of installing steps

I'm going to tell you about the experience I have had when installing this rom: Very fluid and functional. No reboots or weird stuff.
To install magicks, the root steps must be done using magicks apk, as described in the previous post, replacing the boot.
1.Download the base rom https://bigota.d.miui.com/V12.2.9.0...BCNXM_20210119.0000.00_11.0_cn_0ceba536a6.tgz and install it using my Flash.
2. Install the TWRP https://netactuate.dl.sourceforge.net/project/mbroms/TWRPUMI/MBTWRP_14-03-2021_UMI.img. If this works !!!
3. Then fix the TWRP so that it is not deleted on reboot: https://netactuate.dl.sourceforge.net/project/mbroms/TWRP/no_replace_twrp_avb2.zip
4. Install the zip 2Evolution XX.XX "
5. Go back to TWRP and "wipe data"
6. Restart
BUGS FOUND:
1. Wireless screen does not work
2. FOD fails 2 out of 5 times
3. Sound at high volume, generates distortion

It has face unlock and works very well

None of this steps need to be followed.
There is several working TWRPs for our device.
You flash twrp with fastboot -> reboot to recovery -> flash rom -> format data -> reboot
job done

How do you remove the blur effect?
digital well-being I use it a lot and even if I install it it does not appear

when having the phone locked and displaying the notification bar in white and the letters are not visible
the yellow color of the wallpaper and stilo is seen in gray
Sometimes on the lock screen you see both clocks at the same time both in lines and in one line even if you uncheck them
settings/display/colorsshows
there is a blank one without any kind of name
shows slow charging when it should be fast
Would it be possible to add back the option in Developer Options to "Hide Cutout"?
I prefer the added space and dont really care about the huge forehead.

2. systemUI restart? try dark mode
3. lock screen sometimes dual clock.. thats ROM bug.. sometime show or not.. you can disable in settings - the evolver - lock screen - disable double-line clock
4. colorsshows is ROM bug, i ensure add everything command
5. slow charging actual fast.. i cant confirm that... in official is same too

and restarted the ui system and the same( will you fix it?... of course. I have the battery activated and it still drains,
Evo x August, it's the only ROM that coverage comes and goes , They are doing something wrong in pixel experience and in dust
E-sim don't work, it's just stuck on this screen

Hey great rom man, but there is an issue, I don't know whether it is in the rom or android 12 or my device but Samsung S9+ has widevine L1 certification but as soon as I installed this rom, it got downgraded to L3. Can you fix this issue?
I tried formatting from system setting as well as from the recovery. I flashed the original firmware as well again. There it showed L1 certification and when I installed this rom it was again L3. I want to stay at android 12. Please find a fix to this issue

L1 won't work on AOSP atm.
great rom very fast,. pls check camera video recording i thing its a bug after 10 to 15 seconds of video recording camera is crashing. installing deferent cam from play store still same its crashing. thank you.
Can this ROM work with dual SIM? Like my phone (as per signature).

this is the first release so expect lot of bugs. im reverting back to official pixel experience 12 for daily driver a very stable rom.
Found that Bluetooth does not pair with my watch. On 12 it worked perfectly. Do I have to do a complete wipe to roll back?

try to full wipe then reinstall or revert back to android 12 and wait for the stable release of this rom untill they fix bug

its a bug wait for the stable release and fixes. this is the first release so expect a bug.

I'm good, it's just bluetooth. I got this update via OTA last night.
Also, SD card dont show up once you load the rom. I'm sure the sd card works fine because im able to access it from trwp recovery
How do I roll back to 12? This is too much bugs and crashes and I don't like this much bleeding edge.
A constant fresh update supply for security patches is fine but when same method is applied to new OS code and such, it's usually a bad idea to mainstream it.
I suggest you guys make an option for us users where we can choose whether we want to be on stable branch or bleeding edge.
But again my question, how do I roll back to 12? I can't find the .zip file to download.
Minor bug once the battery is empty & phone shuts down:
When I plug in the charger the % of charged battery remains at 0% and gets updated only upon pressing the power button for a short time.
