I am looking for a good gaming headset to play pubg on my ROG2. I am confused which one to buy. My budget is around 100-120$ Max. I googled some headsets some have DTS X support which our phone also support it will make difference?
If its for gaming. Get wired earphones/headphones. To avoid debating with the seller if theres a delay...

I am currently using some headphones from my Sony Walkman which are really good quality. Obviously, they don't do the call features. The included headset for the HD7 are obviously crap.
What would you recommend for me for the HD7 to:
* restrict noise leakage (I find the buds are best for this)
* make/accept calls
I notice Sennheiser do iPhone kit. The HD7 is obviously pretty new and will not likely get the attention from the better headphone makers. What's the compatibility like between smartphones? Are iPhone/other phone headsets compatible?
I would prefer wired, but if Bluetooth provides the better functionality/sound then I'll consider those.
Thanks.
I use Plantronics Voyager Pro Plus. It's a BT headset and one of the best I have used. You can get the one without the plus for a lower price.
The plus is A2DP enabled. I got a good deal on Amazon.com during the holidays.
I would definitely recommend this BT Headset. Very comfortable and very functional.

Thanks. Although I should have made it clear I need this for music, so it needs to be stereo.
I personally use two headphones, though I'm not too sure this would suit your needs, I either carry a pair of earbuds or my Bose headphones, and then a Blueant Q2 for talk... I know it could be a pain... Also, try using the sound enhancer app from HTC
Thank you all.
In the end, I think these are probably my best bet. They supposedly work on Android, so similar may get similar operation on WP7?
Sennheiser MM 70i Headset with Smart Remote and Mic to Control iPhone
There was a link here to the product.
Because of your forum rules, I cannot post the link to the earphones. Apparently after 8 posts I can do, so maybe i should create 5 or more posts with pointless content in just so I can paste a link? This helps nobody.
Any experience with these?
Plantronics 903 Backbeat! Love it. I use it at work to listen to stuff on my pc and phone connected to take calls or listen to music on my phone while I'm out of the office. Sounds really good and the most comfortable set of bluetooth STEREO headphones I've used.

Thanks for your help. I've taken a punt based on your response and some fairly positive reviews. My only worry is the sound quality, but let's see. I'll be sure to let you know!
I am also in the same boat as you guys. The headphones with HD7 are bad, so I am turning to SE for help.
Here is what I might buy:
1. SE HPM 88
2. MH 710
3. MH 700 OR
4. HPM 77
In India, we don't get the ones with the mic. We only get headphones. I SO SO REGRET GIVING AWAY My X1 heaphones... DAYUM!!! WISH I COULD turn back time.
I bought the Plantronics set and am quite impressed. Have some sound quality/comfort issues but other than that, a great set.
I was asked to blog about it by a local TelCo:

Still looking for the RIGHT ones...
Hello !
I am searching for bluetooth headsets for my hTC HD2 !
I have the Motorola S9 HD but i'ld like to change
I am thinking about getting a Jaybird Sportsband 2 (
For the same price, is there something better ?
Thanks
of all the headsets i have had....about 15 in the last 2 years. this is due to the fact that i lose and break them very often because of my job; i would say the one i'm using right now is pretty good, it is the samsung WEP475.
pretty good audio
the other person can hear you very well, even in a 13L 425hp diesel!
and it is very loud, so having it on the low volume setting is a good idea (this is due to our phones i think though)
for me i just need something that works good, and is cheap. spending 100-200 on a bluetooth headset and loosing it 3 days later seems stupid to me.
on a side note the shortest timei have ever had a headset for is 2hrs before i ran it over with 100,000lbs!
try this mate!
months ago I started a thread (after many searches on this site about a good stereo bluetooth headset)
I restricted my choices onto 2 stereo headset and in the end I bought the SE MW600 ...
You can read the posts here:

Mate, I really recommend this bluetooth headset to everyone ... long lasting battery, astonishing audio (like if you are listening music through a good mp3 player), voice commands, info on the led display (sometimes ...not everytime ... also the name of the caller), comfortable buttons-commands, etc ...

Is Bluetooth not universal?
Thanks for answering
What can you guys tell me about the Sennheiser HD 448 ?
Should I buy it ?
I use the Avantalk jogger. It is really light, has a very long running time and is not too expensive. Only the bass is too quiet!
I use the jabra extreme. Out supports a2dp and has place call function, redial, 2 mics to reduce background noise, good quality stereo sound in one speaker. Best buy has them for 80US.

I have used a Jabra BT8010 for years with my iPhone 3G and then my HTC HD2. Recently, I replaced it with the Samsung HM3500 and it works great, too. You can purchase the HM3500 on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280679860257
I bought mine from this person and it is excellent. It cost $27 and free shipping.
The new model is the HM3700 that T-Mobile is selling for $70. I didn't like the HM3700 because it did not have the big button on the side to answer a call.
The only thing I do not like about the HM3x00 is that it does not fit into my ear and thus sticks out about an inch from my face. I do like the ear bugs for the stero. Hope this helps anyone looking at this posting.
There is only one Bluetooth hands-free and it's called Jawbone:

Everything else is a compromise.
until today i have never need a headset
Yeah I'm going to buy new headphones for basic usage with my phone. Right now I'm considering Jabra HALO2. I read that they can be wireless and wired, great bass and they are comfortable. I haven't tested myself but they have good ratings in many reviews.
So, has anyone used them? What are pros and cons?

Hi all,
Anyone here recommend a good set of bluetooth headphones fir less than £60 ($90) bought some goji gt016 and they become really distorted when you switch to bluetooth from wired.
I'm looking for a wired option with the ability to take calls and use features on the phone also bluetooth 4.0 if that's an advantage not sure what advantage that has at the moment.
Thanks

It's not less then $90 but it is extremely good, as it makes uses of Samsung's proprietary UHQ bluetooth. http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/EO-PN920CBEGUS . I got mine for $170. I use this with PowerAmp Alpha and the Samsung control application . I only play 24 bit 192 hz flac's. I may be drinking the Koolaid, ut I find the difference, with everything tuned to these encoding protocols, absolutely breathtaking for a set of bluetooth headphones. By way of background, since 2006, I have purchased and lived with over 20 different bluetooth stereo earbuds, on ear, over ear headphones. I currently have a V-Moda wireless and a set of the Bragi Dash wireless earbuds. Now, YMMV, but I can't praise these enough. I may get trolled for this, but they are comparable to the wired KEF M500 http://www.kef.com/html/en/showroom/mseries/m500/m500/index.html#.V1aRRbgrI-U
I really liked my Samsung Level U Pro headphones that I paid $60 for, but now I'm using the LG Tone Platinum's which are more expensive ($200) but sound great. I would give the Samsung Level U Pro headphones a chance, they support aptX, and UHQ streaming on top of getting good battery life.
I've had these
SOL Republic On-ear https://www.amazon.com/SOL-REPUBLIC-1430-02-Wireless-Headphones/dp/B00H267SZK/ref=sr_1_31?s=aht&ie=UTF8&qid=1465655005&sr=1-31&keywords=wireless+headphones&refinements=p_n_feature_two_browse-bin%3A509316%2Cp_n_feature_four_browse-bin%3A12097501011%2Cp_n_feature_three_browse-bin%3A12097499011
But didn't like the on-ear , so I bought these
Bose Soundlink Around Ear Wireless, they're a blessing, great sound and comfort. Too bad the price is so high

I know it's not a topic related to op3 directly..but am in a dilemma since one month which speaker should be bought.
Sony x55 or Bose SoundLink COLOR ?
Am a bass head lover and on a tight budget
Please help
Best portable bluetooth speaker out there for volume and base for its size. https://www.amazon.com/RTX01B-Premium-Wireless-Bluetooth-Speaker/dp/B00IPSC6F6
I stumbled across a great deal on what I think is an amazing sounding little Bluetooth speaker, full of great features like NFC touch to pair, speaker phone, and some of the best sounding bass I ever seen come from a tiny little speaker, the Klipshch Gig
http://www.cnet.com/products/klipsch-gig-black/review/
It has a bit of age to the model, as it's currently being phased out. What used to sell for $200 is now under $60 bucks, and let me tell you, it was money well spent. It with my new oneplus3 keep me jamming all day long!
Hmmm an interesting device but you can't go wrong with a ue boom or similar products tho more expensive. I just go for an awesome pair of headphones

I use a JBL extreme speaker and love the deep bass and clarity.
If you are from India, you can get a good deal during the Diwali sale on Amazon etc.
