Redmagic 3 Android 10
Android 10 on Chinese rom feels a lot smoother than Android 9 and trust me redmagic version 8 is so much better than the previous one. There is still no option to change launcher.
Redmagic Android 10
No major update in the camera department. Ui feels a lot smoother game space has also been styled with same theme which is found on redmagic 5G. A new option is added on the game space left toggle named as aim assist which actually create a overlayed crosshair. There is also option given in settings as well as in the game space toggle by which we change change the screen refresh rate between 60hz to 90hz.

sensor problem after downgrading android 10 to android 9
I have flashed android to test new features as I was testing I noticed that there is some pubg lag issues and also the ping which I usually get on android 9 was not the same on android 10. Pubg is not as smooth as android 10 so I decided to downgrade to android 9 but right after downgrading I noticed all of my sensor except fingerprint were not working i tried everything to make the sensors working but all in vain so at last I have to flash the rom via tool using edl mode after that everything came back to normal.
This is the process to downgrade to android 9.
Just use unbrick tool works for andriod 10 to everthing wil be fine

I restored this folder from TWRP and when i am rebooting system it's stuck at Samsung Grand Prime Powered by Android. Any fix?
Hi Guys,
I've been using sokkoban's B596 ROM for a while now and it had Magisk 12 installed already.
Today I got a notification from magisk to update to new version, I downloaded it from app and it installed and prompted for reboot.
After reboot the phone got stuck on Boot Logo for a couple of seconds and then my phone started. I opened magisk to see what's new but what I saw was the old version of Magisk was also uninstalled and now its saying me to download and install magisk 13. When I touch the download button a zip file just got downloaded and nothing else happened.
Can someone please assist me on how to install it again ??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Let me be clear. The new stable version of Magisk (v13.1) doesn't work on the stock ROM. For me it does boot, just takes a long time, but there's no Magisk Manager and if installed it lets you know Magisk is not installed. Get one of the betas that work (the last one does for me) or v12
Just installed last beta (c4377ed) and all works fine. SN passes and Play Store says my device is certified

if you have never installed any other root method (for example Chainfire's SuperSu zip) you can avoid this step. Otherwise it is safer to restore a stock boot image via TWRP backup or extracting a new one from your rom file (UPDATE.APP or whatever) and flashing it via Fastboot. Make sure to install the correct boot image according to you current rom installed on your device

Sokkobans ROM is stock with some more apps and settings changed. You can use the boot image from stock.
You can always get the FULL (and OTA, but we want full to extract) from here: http://hwmt.ru/oth/HWFF/info/view.php?find_model=ale-l21

ODIN supports files with the .tar extension. The .md5 extension is just the added hash.
For TWRP to save settings ensure your /DATA partition is mountable.
If not you will need to FORMAT it and flash my dm-verity/encryption patch.

Have you FORMATTED the DATA partition like I advised?
You need to apply the patch at the same time.

It is very strange your problem, in the same way there are many versions of twrp compiled for A5 2016, you can try them and verify if they all have this same problem that you have now ..

Hello Mr. I believe that in the a5 2016 it is not necessary to flash a patch, I have seen that for other devices for example (A5 2017) it is necessary to flash a patch and format DATA partition or internal memory.
In the case of "A5 2016" it is running without a patch, with the compiled img running smoothly ..

Hi All,
My phone is a5 2016. The phone does not turn on, I switched the help keys to download mode and loaded stock rom, it was 100% successful, but the phone does not turn on. Boatloader is staying too. I couldn't break the FAP LOCK. I've also tried twrp but unfortunately odin can't install because I can't root it either.
Wat can i do?

TWRP 3.3.1-0 Released
May 22, 2019
TWRP 3.3.1-0 is out now for most currently supported devices.
What's new in 3.3.1-0:
* Fix selinux issues during formatting - dianlujitao
* Various fixes for toybox and toolbox builds - CaptainThrowback and bigbiff
* Flash both A and B partitions when installing a recovery ramdisk - Dees_Troy
* Add option to uninstall TWRP app from /system - Dees_Troy
* Create digest for subpartitions - bigbiff
Want to get notifications when we release new versions of TWRP? Install the TWRP app and select your device!
We need your help! The bulk of TWRP work is done by a handful of people on a volunteer basis. We have pushed most of our device files to our github and we have a gerrit instance. If you have the ability, please help us maintain our official devices and/or add your device to our official device list. Thanks in advance!
Update 28/7/19
3.3.1-1 build released.
Current status - Beta (tested working)
Treble supported
Bugs: slight delay before touch starts working.
You flash this at your own risk. Please ensure you have the stock ROM to hand downloaded from SAMMOBILE in case of problems. This will trip the knox counter.
NOTE: ON ANDROID 5.1.1> DEVICES IT IS NECESSARY TO GO TO:
Settings -> Developer Options -> OEM unlocking
AND ENABLE OEM UNLOCK FIRST OR YOU MAY ENCOUNTER 'BLOCKED BY FRP LOCK' WHEN FLASHING.
*****INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:*****
Flash with ODIN in the AP slot.
1. Put your device in DOWNLOAD mode.
(Plug in the USB cable and then hold POWER + VOL DOWN + VOL UP)
2. Load the respective file below into the AP slot, uncheck Auto-reboot and hit start.
twrp_3.2.3-1_J610_21230
twrp_3.3.1-1_J610x_28719
3. After flashing and ODIN reports PASS immediately force reboot to recovery. Do NOT let the device boot to the OS.
You should now see TWRP recovery.
4. Flash the V3 RMM bypass zip
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79745844&postcount=627
NOTE: FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE STEPS ABOVE IMPLICITLY WILL RESULT IN STOCK RECOVERY REPLACING TWRP AT FIRST BOOT AND BECOMING RMM LOCKED FOR 7 DAYS.
I ALSO SUGGEST BACKING UP ANYTHING YOU NEED ON INTERNAL STORAGE. AT SOME POINT YOU MAY EXPERIENCE A 'VERIFICATION FAILED MESSAGE' .
THIS IS NORMAL, BUT WILL REQUIRE THE DATA PARTITION TO BE FORMATTED IN TWRP.
5. Reboot to TWRP (Do not boot to the OS yet)
***** ROOT INSTRUCTIONS:*****
1. Flash the Forced encryption disabler patch. This is only required if you wish to have full functionality in TWRP.
Flashing this will disable Samsung's forced encryption. Disabling encryption will allow TWRP to mount the data partition.
After flashing the patch it is necessary to *FORMAT* (not wipe) the /DATA partition using the FORMAT DATA button under the wipe options.
PLEASE NOTE THIS WILL DELETE EVERYTHING ON INTERNAL STORAGE AND FACTORY RESET THE DEVICE, SO BACK UP ANYTHING YOU WISH TO KEEP.
J6+_oreo_forced_encryption_disabler
2. To root I suggest installing the latest Magisk beta as this is a currently supported project, SuperSu is no longer getting active development.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445
OREO ONLY: (Below is a DEFEX patched kernel for Oreo. Some root apps may not work correctly without this kernel):
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397922702
PIE ONLY: Due to some new securities in Samsung's latest Pie kernels, root will not work with the stock kernel. The patched kernel below is required to gain root on Pie.
(NOTE: flashing a custom kernel on PIe breaks the lockscreen. Ensure NO lockscreen is enabled before installing the kernel.)

3. Enjoy your rooted device.

PLEASE DO *NOT* DIRECT LINK TO THESE FILES. PLEASE LINK TO THIS POST
Credits: Me, Teamwin, @dope77 for initial testing, @corsicanu for RMM bypass zip.
Please note I don't own this device and spend a lot of my free time bringing these builds for you to use and benefit from.
FEEDBACK IS APPRECIATED PLEASE.
THANKS.

It only patches the fstab in the vendor partition.
If it's boot looping it means that dm-verity is not disabled.
Did you flash Magisk first?
my bad,i flashed 17.1 which was useless and not working
reflashed 17.3 and the encryption disabler and phone booted.
twrp is fully functioning and phone is decrypted,
thank you
Will you kindly attach the proper magisk 17.3 zip file?

Do i need to perform a format to 'data' partition?
Would i loose all my phone apps and everything?
What about RMM Bypass?
Still touch does not work for me.
And device does not boot to os, instead boots into twrp recovery. Also power key does not work when device turns off the screen in twrp recovery. Volume keys keep the screen alive, but touch does not work.
Let me do a full odin flash.

The only one that works is the one I've posted in my previous post which must be the same one you have used.
It seems the build in the OP was the previous not working build which I'd linked by mistake.
Now fixed.
Apologies to anyone that downloaded it, fixed version is now up.

One that worked for me is from other thread, labled "Twrp /Exposed" like this. You know, you and dope77 worked on.
Post # 25: Check that thread and you might find that.

Whatever is in that thread is now in this thread.
So you must have flashed the same twrp that is posted in the OP.
It's strange to notify that my J6+ does not connect to PC after flashing latest Magisk-v18.0(18000).zip file.

Thanks

UPDATE 10/16/19
I don't know why the development on XDA for redmi 7a is unbelievable lazy, but this is what I stole from 4pda!
1.Unlock the bootloader if you have not already done so.
2. Download vbmeta.img file (4 KB),
Download patched_boot_10.2.5EU.img,
https://filehorst.de/d/cFqIgsev,
2a For patched boot 10.2.6. Global Download
https://filehorst.de/d/cBeCunfm
2b. For patched boot 10.2.5. Global Download
https://filehorst.de/d/cDpHyAId
3. Download recovery
Code:
[URL="https://filehorst.de/d/cHyobAcd"]TWRP 3.3.1-1003 LRTeam[/URL]
[URL="https://filehorst.de/d/crqywBxx"]TWRP 3.3.1-1003-DX mod[/URL]
[URL="https://filehorst.de/d/cbvACbwB"]TWRP 3.3.1-1[/URL]
4. Drop the vbmeta file into the adb folder. Next, rename the patched boot file to boot.img and paste it with recovery into the adb folder
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot reboot
For patched boot but generally for the launch of custom firmware on our phone, say thanks YaAlex3
5. Reboot the phone by holding "volume + and power" the phone will reboot into TWRP
6. Flash Magisk
7. Download the GSI firmware. NEED A64 A / B . no other will do.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/project-treble/trebleenabled-device-development
GSI Firmware (A64 A/B):
AOSP 9.0 v119 (special instruction: search for boot fix and flash certification)
Descendant 4.0.1
DotOS
EvolutionX
PE Plus
MSM Extended
/e/
PixelExperience
ViperOS 6.5
LineageOS
And download and upload the Attached file Permissiver_v4.zip file (1.1 MB)
8. Unpack the downloaded firmware, you should get a file with the extension .img We
upload it to the USB flash drive. This can be done without leaving the recovery by simply connecting the phone via cable.
9. Make the Data format, wipe System, Davlik / Cache
8a. Install attached no-verity-encrypt-ysl to stay encrypted (optional)
10. Select Install img below - select the firmware file - select System
9a. If you like Gapps, Install BiTGApps Pie 9.0.0 (optional)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/arm-bitgapps-variants-t3959373
11. Flash Permissiver_v4.zip
12. Go back, select reboot - to the bootloader
13. In the adb folder, launch the console by holding the Shift button on the keyboard and right-clicking in an empty area, select the
line to open the command window.
We enter the fastboot flash vbmeta and then fastboot reboot
Code:
fastboot flash vbmeta vbmeta.img
fastboot reboot
Everyone is now waiting for the phone to turn on (at first it will reboot it's normal)
Note: vbmeta can also be flashed before the start of the whole action, as you wish.
Note 2: If suddenly there is no memory card, you can wipe System, flash everything and format the latest date.
Important Notes (FAQ)
[ROOT]Video recording fix:
put
media.camera.ts.monotonic=0
to /vendor/build.prop
[ROOT] Fix brightness
Turn on USB debugging, run the terminal \ cmd on the PC, write
Code:
adb shell
su
setprop persist.sys.qcom-brightness $ (cat / sys / class / leds / lcd-backlight / max_brightness)
Rejoice.
How to certify a device for GSI
Important: If you are at the initial setup stage, you must complete it. If notifications about the need for certification interfere, disable them.
We need to find our GSF Device-ID
1. Download the application
2. Copy “Google Service Framework (GSF) there.”
3. Go here , paste and click the button.
Or Just flash this zip and you are good to go
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DTGpGrcjweZbN9wUdSSq8uQTmgxf0aD2/view
I am not good at this stuff so I probably shouldn't do it but I wanted to install Magisk on my phone
I flashed the patched boot using this
fastboot flash boot boot.img
I installed TWRP as my recovery
I flashed Magisk 19.3 from TWRP and rebooted the phone
It started android as usual, the magisk manager said Magisk was installed
After a few seconds phone restarted and booted itself into recovery (TWRP)
I went back to android and uinstalled the magisk by clicking uinstall in magisk manager
But the phone still restarts itself and boots into recovery every time I go to android
And the wifi isn't working
Do you have any ideas how to fix it?
And sorry for my English it's not my first language
Edit:
I used MiFlash to install original boot.img and everything seems to work fine
What does the permissiver do? Is that neccessary?
wow amazing
Has anybody else with an unlocked bootloader tried this? does it work?
Also: OP the recovery.img link is dead. Please reupload if you can.
