Hi all. I would like to revert the phone to stock after root and custom rom. Ther's a guide? I can't find anything on the forum. Thanks at all.
I think you just flash the stock firmware over what you have.

Thank's! So, no warry bout unlocked bootloader?
You might want to relock it first, but I don't think it matters. I am not sure though. Just basing this off my time with the S3 and S4 back in the day. With those phones it didn't matter. The S10 line are newer so it might with them.

I presume you want the boot screens to revert to normal without the Bootloader Unlocked warning screen.
If so, see my post HERE

I am on lineage os (Ivan_Meler) not rooted
under the developer there is no OEM option showing. My bootloader is unlocked, recovery is TWRP.
how can i goo back to stock ?
Just to be sure: Before I flash a custom firmware on a S10(+,e) like lineage, there is nothing to back up like DRM keys or certificates? (I had SONY phones before. If you reverted to stock on those some SONY apps would not work anymore if you did not backup the DRM keys).
Hello guys,
Similar question what is the procedure when I want S10e with flashed custom rom (TWRP Recovery), rooted and unlocked bootloader to return to stock firmware?

With the GS2 I just got the file, put it on Odin and it was done so I have no clue about HTC phones. My phone is unlocked but has my networks firmware on it and I cannot update to newer firmware unless I get the stock firmware I'm guessing. So I'm just wondering where I can get that and how I do it?
Thanx.

Just about everything on htc phones is done through custom recovery.
If you have bootloader unlocked the you will need to flash a custom recovery I recommend twrp. After that just make a backup then download and flash a rom.
You can download and flash roms with just the phone no computer needed once you have the custom recovery

No I mean my network doesn't lock the phone but you get their firmware which is annoying. I have no idea how to check the bootloader, never even heard of one before, everything was much easier with Samsung lol.

Custom ROMs are tweaked so more than likely it will be snappier and more battery efficient compared to stock ROMs. Also some custom ROMs have different themes, wallpaper or look than a stock ROM. The only ROM I know that doesn't have ANY visual changes is ARHD ROMs by mike1986.

You need to flash a custom recovery to be able to flash a custom ROM. Read the guide that was mentioned a couple of post above. The steps år basically like this.
Unlock the bootloader through the HTCdev website
Flash a custom recovery
Make a nandroid backup of your stock rom from recovery
Download and copy a custom ROM zip to the SD card
Flash the custom ROM from recovery
No, Samsung was not any easier to modify . I have rooted and modified several devices from both Samsung and HTC. You just have to learn the steps.

If you haven't unlocked bootloader then it is locked you can't root before you unlocked the boorloader

You can easily get back to stock by flashing the stock files.
however to get the ultra-stock experience, you will need to lock your bootloader as well and restore your DRM keys too. If you didn't make this backup then I believe you can't get back to the true stock experience.

I have followed the rooting, backup (drm keys), flash new firmware etc etc procedure. However every time i flash a custom rom and reboot it goes into brick. I mean no bootloop just flashing red led when on charger, i cant even get to recovery to restore.
then i have to do
Flash .105 kitkat stock firmware>giefroot>dualrecovery install.bat>flash new pre rooted firmware>try flashing custom rom again>BRICK>(return to start)^
i have unlocked bootloader, everything done, even when i try and restore drm keys i get bricked.
i have currently given up on custom roms and im living with crap camera, no custom rom.....nothing.
please help, send food n water
Help please

Oh OK. Thanks for replying . Damn but my bootloader is unlocked. No idea what I should do.
Hi recently few members oriented me about the note 3 att version issues when trying to add a new port to it. I read a little and now i am looking for recommendations to get the best (fastest, clean, uptodate) por for my phone. Opinion recommendations are welcome. I am looking for something stable.
If the n900a is running a 4.3 or newer bootloader, the bootloader is locked which means twrp cannot be installed to the phone and the phone will only run custom roms that can be flashed with safestrap or possibly flash fire.

I think is running the old version. I checked the AP and it ends in OC2
With oc2, the bootloader is locked.

and there is a way out of this? i cant really be sure some posts says you cant soe post there are ways to get something up
Nope, I know of no way around the locked bootloader. Same situation exists for the AT&T Samsung s4 which also has a locked bootloader.
I have never seen a post where someone can run twrp or cwm on an at&t s4 or note 3 with a locked bootloader.
Ohh well there goes my hope i guess i cant do anything. Any other kind of modification i can do to this phone?
You can root to remove bloatware. You can also use safestrap to flash some custom ROMs. Look in the development thread for ROMs that work with a locked bootloader. Here's an example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2786666

Do you have a link to any tutorials showing how to root a n900a without needing TWRP? All the guides I am seeing are not n900a specific or tie-in custom ROM flashing as well which is obviously not applicable in this case.

It would help, but I'm already on 5.0 OC2. Is is even possible to root at this point?
It only takes 10 minutes to Odin back to 4.4.4, which can be rooted.

Then I highly recommend the AryaMod ROM. Insanely fast and the battery lasts forever.

Hey guys,
Today I messed up with TWRP and accidentally deleted the data partition.
I had used janjan's solution like a year ago to get magisk (I'm assuming my DRM keys are gone), and my BL is also unlocked.
Sadly, my phone booted to the new setup wizard, and now magisk is not working.
I'm desperately trying to get back to stock ROM in order to get root again and have a custom kernel or some other custom ROM instead.
I'm not sure if that is possible any longer, I tried using newflasher (v19) to flash into stock but sadly it didn't recognize the phone.
I'm kinda lost, and I would love if someone would help and point me in some direction in order to get things working again.
Current situation is I'm on firmware 47.1.A.12.179, and cannot simply update it through fota (it won't install), magisk isn't working, but the phone does connect to google play store and functions 'normally' (without root though).
If anyone has any idea of what I could do next, that would be supreme.
Thanks for your time!
Use EMMA.
Thanks! I'll update with details
Edit: Amazing mate! This worked! My camera is back!
So many many many thanks
Just came here to say thanks. Spend few hours trying to install drivers when I actually mistook flash mode with fastboot mode lol

Any advice?
It's not possible to relock the XZ1C's bootloader.
