I am searching for best gaming rom for realme x2pro
I have already tried
Lineage os (heavy framedrop plus heating and lag )
Aosip ( decent frame rate )
If any one know much better rom for gaming please reply to this thread
I'm using ColorOS 6.1 (Android 9) and it's running butter smooth,
Build: RMX1931EX_11_A.09
I've tried Lineage OS, like you said it's heating a lot, and that causes the framedrops.
i never tried AOSiP... do you recommend it? how is battery life?
are there any issues? since I faced some issues when i tried LineageOS

Hi,
Sorry for my english.
I'm having overheating issues after last MIUI update.
I can't play PUBG because of lags. My ping fluctuating a lot. My internet connection is fine.
I want to flash the best custom rom available to play PUBG smoothly.
Can anybody suggest me a good ROM & step by step guide to flash it?
Thanks in advance.
I am interested a bit in this myself. Personally I am running Pixel Experience 9.0 and it is very stable, only thing people report not working is hotspot and proximity sensor working if it feels like it - for me it was always like this though, I always talk on loud speaker anyway.
I do not game that much, the phone is a few generations old, so you'd be better of buying Poco F1, Mi 8 or 9 in my opinion if you want good performance.
Pie Crdroid works very good

Yes. I tried almost all ROMs. Gaming performance is still same.
Then I guess it is the phone poorly disposing of heat, quite well known issue for this model, ROMs won't fix hardware.
Anyway, back to main topic, I've daylied official Lineage 16.0 since it was released a couple weeks ago. Personally I am experiencing quite many bugs, like white notifications in dark mode and audio problems. YMMV, but personally I'll be going back to Pixel Experience once April update is up, as I was having zero problems with it.
Your English is fine. Try this ROM.

I've been using the HAVOC OS...
So far it is the fastest rom in terms of gaming...
Expect that your Mix will not lag in any games but at the cost of overheating...

Overheat problem is the same on all phone and computer. It has (almost) nothing to do with the ROM. The main factor is the voltage. On all my PCs I undervolt CPU and fine tune the clock speed of GPU (so the core voltage also stay in the low range). It works the same on a phone. Check undervolting guide for phone.
When the phone overheat, it lower its clock speed and voltage to allow heat dissipation.
You might want to find a good cooling fan for you phone if you're gaming.
I recommend using kernel adiutor 0.9.11.1 available on apkmirror with root access to configure CPU frequency. I did this on lineageos 16.1 with my Xiaomi Mi Mix and it's working much better than ever. I configured the frequencies and thermal protection, also the governors for BIG and LITTLE cores.
Before doing that I had huge performance and heating problems.
Hi guys,
I have a friend who have been using Moto E4 Plus (XT1770) for a while now. Though not meant to be a performance device still it did a commendable performance throughout its time.
The biggest problem has been very low FPS while playing PUBG after the latest updates.
Can somebody suggest me the best rom for getting maximum performance playing PUBG with respectable FPS.
I already tried AOSP Extended but there's been only a minute difference.
Thanks in advance.
Moto E4 Plus
Nicklaus
XT1770
AOSP Extended
Android Nougat 7.1.2
I need the same
Any rom and kernel combination for better pubg performance
could you tell which magisk modules you used?
to perform better on the device.
I tested s rom AOSP extended with magisk, busybox and nfs injector gave me a good performance ..
Sorry for english i am using google translator
After testing many custom ROMs, my two favourites are Havoc OS and Pixel Experience. As these tend to be the most popular for users of mi 8 custom ROMs, I would like to ask the community which one has best stability, battery life and ram management. I do not use my phone for gaming so gaming performance is not really a concern.
I've recently down the rounds on the latest android 10 ROMs.
For me I preferred pixel experience out the 2 you have stated, seemed more stable and more importantly for me android auto was working where as it doesn't currently in havoc. Havoc does have more customisations though.
Havoc has just released an update which I'm yet to try, but for the time being I'm back to the latest Xiaomi EU ROM weekly, as it's rock solid. I will give the aosp builds a couple of months and to get android 10 stable and try them again.
This is all based on my experience / phone usage, so what works for me, may not be right for you

For me xiaomi eu was brilliant, but regarding battery life (which is ageing in my unit - it's from 09.2018), eu was not giving me enough to survive without recharging. On Aosp it's still 30% when only 15% on eu. I use EvoX currently, as it has least issues and glitches, and it's the only rom apart from Eu where all my banking apps work. I think you can only find the answer between your two Roms, if you find someone who switch between them after at least few days of usage.
Well, I'm using Havoc and it seems very nice. I prefer it to Pixel Experience because you can customize every single thing, but both are good. Very good battery life, about 7h screen on time. If you're looking for a MIUI Based rom with a good battery life, I recommend RevOS MIUI, it will surprise you.
Hello XDA friends, I have tried all the stock versions of EUI but in all I have a single problem and it is the performance in games like call of duty or free fire, the fps drops too much, I have tried with custom versions of Android like 8, 9, 10 and the games are excellent, but they bring other problems such as that the microphone sounds low, it overheats (even though I am not playing) the camera application is terrible, I wonder if you could help me solve this problem of the EUI rom , I would really appreciate it.

Try lineage 15, havoc Oreo version or dot os Oreo version,
Or try flashing custom kernels
Lineage is one of the most stable rom, dot os and havoc Oreo is good for gaming.
