You must provide source code of kernel. That is the law of linux kernel. You can modify it and distribute as you may but providing source is must.
We are the developer we also have rights it's better to keep the privacy ahead

There is nothing of that regard except violation of Linux Kernel's Law breakage. If you don't show your code; it is assumed that you probably kanged your kernel and took authorship of someone else's work
Cracking joke for disrespecting the developer

Yeah that's the point we do not intend to promote the real and hard work of newbies for development , just it's a matter of project work and privacy , u can not disrespect any work of a developer .. It's seems likely to be present in my next project .I can only provide the source code only through a collaboration and mainly u should promote the other newbies

oc kernel?
Related
This project is now "End-of-Life" (EOL). Thanks to all of you for the kind support...
/* Introduction */
I built all these kernels with an aim to simply experience and compare the advantages (and sometimes the issues) of higher GCC versions (7 and above) with that of stock kernel (typically built using Google’s stock GCC-4.9.x tool-chain) as well as my own SmartPack-Kernel (built using stock as well as various custom tool-chains). All the credits goes to haggertk and all the others developers associated to Lineage-OS (especially the klte team) as I simply build from their source using latest tool-chains (Of-course, it requires significant modifications on the source code. For more details, please visit GitHub source).
/* DISCLAIMER!! */
Code:
I am not responsible for any damage to your device. Everything you are doing on your device is on your own risk.
I only own kltelgt (Korean variant). Hence, kernels under the category 'kltekor' are only tested by myself.
Please note that flashing any custom Kernel including mine will void your warranty.
/* What is Stock-Kernel and how it is different from official LOS Kernel? */
As the name itself says, these are simply stock Kernels build from official Lineage-OS kernel source code, however, using custom tool-chains of higher GCC version such as GCC-7.x/8.x. If you want to know more about Kernel’s in general, I suggest you to read this in-depth guide by @Saber. You may probably use these web-links to know more about Linaro, UBERTC and Bleeding Edge Toolchain.
/* What is included */
Separate GCC-7.x/8.x builds for the supported devices. You guys can freely test, compare and stay with the one you like more.
/* What you can expect */
Much better performance/SOT, and also some bugs in the worst case.
/* Supported devices */
klte: SM-G900F, SM-G900V, SM-S902L
kltekor: SM-G900K/L/S
/* Compatibility */
This kernel is only meant to work on Lineage-OS 14.1 and nothing else. However, it may work on other LOS-14.1 (and AOSP) based Nougat ROMs (Please try at your own risk).
This kernel will NOT work in Samsung Stock and other TW ROMs.
/* How-to-Install */
1. Download and copy Kernel into your phone
2. Go to recovery (TWRP recommend)
3. Flash Kernel
4. Reboot and Enjoy
/* What I can offer */
Regular updates with each LOS release.
Try to keep the tool-chains as up-to-date as possible.
/* What I can’t offer */
I may (and mostly will) not add new features. Because, my intention is simply not that for this Kernel. For those who are looking for a more feature rich Kernel, I advised you to try other existing good kernels including my own SmartPack-Kernel.
I never attempt to fix bugs in the LOS kernel source that are really difficult or very much time consuming.
/* Features */
Build from latest Lineage OS source code.
Build using Linaro 7.3 (GCC-7.3.1)/Bleeding Edge Toolchain 8.2 (GCC-8.2) tool-chain.
Anykernel concept for compatibility with maximum devices and ROMs.
Features: All the features available in the stock LOS Kernel (neither removed nor added).
For advanced kernel tweaking, you may use Offical Kernel Auditor.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Is this kernel compatible with ROM(s) a/b/c?
Ans: I do not know. All of my kernels are based off and tested only on Lineage-OS. However, if your ROM(s) a/b/c are based on Lineage-OS (and uses the same kernel source code), it will most probably work.
Q2: Which version of kernel should I use?
Ans: I recommend to use the latest if you are on the latest Lineage-OS. For other ROMs with an old built dates, you probably need to find an old version of my kernel with a comparable build date (though you are advised to stay with the latest, if possible).
Q3: How about performance/SOT?
Ans: Since SOT, performance etc. are largely based on several factors such as ROM, installed apps etc. No one else can exactly predict the performance/SOT of your mobile. So, you should test and find out that by yourself.
Q4: Can you tell me the best settings for performance/SOT?
Ans:Again, that depends on several factors. I can only say my favorite settings that gives me best results in my favorite ROM.
Q5: Which are the best CPUfreq gov/CPU hotplug/IOScheduler/TCP congestion algorithm for battery life/performance etc?
Ans:Again you need to find out those things yourself. To get more idea, I suggest you to read this awesome guide by @saber.
Q6: Could you add feature x and y to this kernel?
Ans: Mostly No. Because, my intention is simply not that for this Kernel. For those who are looking for a more feature rich Kernel, I advised you to try other existing good kernels including my own "SmartPack-Kernel".
Q7: When will you release a new version of this kernel?
Ans: New updates will arrived with each LOS release with some changes in the kernel source code.
Q8: I found a bug, what do I do?
Ans: Please provide as much information as possible (such as what feature, what didn\'t work, screen-shots or logcat if possible) and post in this thread.

I have been running your Kernel Built using Linaro-GCC-7.x/UBERTC-8.x for the last few days on my g900v with resurrection remix 7.1.2 and I have noticed that my battery seems to be lasting longer. I am liking the overall smoothness of this kernel as well. Thanks Buddy, keep up the good work!

Extremely sorry friend. I do not want to add one more device as it requires a lot of time from my side (1 device=2 build). Further, I do not think that many klteduos users will use my Kernel (so it will be ultimately waste of energy and time). However, any one can easily build klteduos or any other variant that are officially supported by Lineage-OS from my fully up-to-date source (sources of both Kernel and toolchain can be found here).

Good evening, I would like to change my galaxy s5 sm-g900f. I linkageos 14 + g-app stock I uninstall because the autonomy is very reduced and the device heats. I would like to test UBERTC-8.x, I read on the site that the autonomy is better and also the overheating. But how do I have to reinstall the all lineageos + g-app or install only UBERTC-8.x + g-app. Of course by doing everything wipe.
thank you in advance

If you are already using Lineage-OS, simply go to TWRP and flash this Kernel and all done.
If you are on a stock TW based ROM do the following
1. Go to TWRP
2. Wipe system and data
3. Flash Lineage-OS-14.1
4. Flash Gapps
5. Flash this Kernel (UBERTC or Linaro)
6. Flash magisk/ modules/su-addons, or any other stuff you like
7. Wipe cache/dalvik cache
8. Reboot and enjoy...

Yes.
I'll post a project roadmap and a kind of "support policy" in a couple of days to set expectations. Basically, all comes to "if you made any modifications - it's your decision and you can't expect any help". It's pretty... spartan-stylish, but after all we're focused on walking the walk, not talking the talk.
@karevn Thanx for your work on this Xiaomi forsaken phone, as well as all the other devs! I'm using the rom since about a week, very stable so far.The only problem i have with latest build is some "click" sounds when i'm talking on whatsapp on wifi, didn't test it with data or any other app till now.If anyone else having this problem i'll try getting a logcat, else i'll try a clean install first.
A small request, since it's unofficial, can we have a network monitor on the status bar?It's very useful in general.
And a question, is 2.2 ghz the maximum we can squeeze from this cpu?Can we reach 2.4-2.5 even at the cost of increased power consumption?I'll be happy to help in this direction since i have some experience.

The main goal of this project is to provide a stable usable rom with smooth performance. So, I'll never integrate any bells, whistles or serious overclocking/undervolting. Snapdragon 625 is good as it is - fast and power-efficient with careful configuration.
On the WhatsApp thing - check if the is WhatsApp-specific or system-wide. If it's system-wide - post an issue at my github tracker.
Using your Rom for months now,
No major issues,
Happy you are here. :good::good:

Flash audio fix kernel. Thanks goes to @karevn
Karevn (and Razziell, and Anomalchik and others) THANKS ALOT for all your efforts!
I'm using your ROM since November if i remember correctly, and it is fantastic!
I'm even reading 4pda thread (translated by google) just to check your messages, updates and whatsoever!
This rom is fantastic, but i have to tune a bit because on MY Redmi (not on others, since i did not read anyting related in xda nor 4pda) i have spontaneous reboot.
I'm mitigating them using "interactive" CPU so i get about 1 reboot a day "only" (i even tryed to use only 3g or 4g). With impulse i have many reboots
With Voodoo Kernel i have no reboots. It seems some tweaks you did, don't work very well with just my own device
However with one of your rom/kernel it was all perfect (it was the one you gave us just without hotplug, about 2 months ago).
I know you are asking for logs, but it is just my device who has such problems, so i will not ask you to check just for me
Keep up the GREAT work and thanks alot!

Any of you need any translations or proofreading, just in case? I'm a frequent visitor on xda and an occasional visitor of 4pda and fluent in both languages. Would be glad to help.
Using this ROM right now, extremely stable, battery life is probably the best I've seen on markw - 12 hours later I still have over 50% and that's with a lot of usage including videos and music, OTAs actually work (are they pulled from the google drive? I'm just curious how someone managed to make it work on an UNofficial ROM, it's amazing) albeit only on the next day after the installation, only had one app crash a few times and I probably know the cause. Very smooth, LED works fine, no longer randomly reboots on low 2G signal or at all. No bloat or random apps I just don't use that other ROM devs force in there (some launcher - I either use the google one or Trebuchet, Substratum - I don't even use it at all, I much prefer the stock look, Xposed - If I really want/need it I'll rather install it myself). Generally very pleased to actually get rid of MIUI AND also have a fully functioning device running a ROM that doesn't need 10 fixes and a kernel flashed afterwards.
Thanks a lot for the efforts.
Big thanks for this Rom is the best what i have use! But i have onley one Problem. The LED dont works for any App. But wen i Charge my Phone IT works. I have Do a clean wipe install. Is there anywhat wat i can Do?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8.1 (Oreo), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Reporting Bugs:
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Adb doesnt work right now so rip)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless).
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. For now please report any bug below.

Thanks BRO!!
Definitely going to keep an eye on this thread! Thanks for your hard work.

Nice to see some development for snapdragon version. To have a dual speaker and a fully working gcam port would make this room a daily use material.

Can this potentially work on a T-Mobile S9+ ? I wasn't sure U.S. carrier Galaxy S9's could be rooted ? Haven't had a Samsung phone in awhile, currently rocking the Pixel 2 XL

it cant. Snapdragon from Mexico and asia? can unlocked. Ive had my samsung s9 canada version (960w) for over a month.
Even if snapdragon US/CAN could unlock you still need oem unlock to show up in dev settings. I believe it changes state after 168h of the device on, "oem unlock" would show up in dev settings. However I'm at 174h and nothing has shown up. of course this doesn't matter because i wouldn't be able to flash anything.
I upgraded my phone from HTC 10 which had ex kernel, audio mod, custom os. Now moving to this S9 it feels like a downgrade

Excuse me, does this rom has hardware encryption error?

I tried but I don't tested all parts, but that parts seems to work for me:
-Wifi
-Audio
-No Graphic glitch
-sdcard
-Google Play Services (if you install gapps)
I'm going back to Android P Semi-GSI PR1, because I don't like the default launcher, and if I remove it or change it, the recent screen will be Oreo similar recents
I have been using this ROM for like 4 days and I can say it's super stable! The stock launcher is very snappy and I haven't had any performance issues. I have a ton of apps installed which make up for 33% of the avaliable space and I haven't had any problems. Highly recommend this build, if you want to try out the new Android P this is the way to go. Also to fix some display errors (on the notification bar) you should change the DPI to 372 or more otherwise the QS tiles get to close to the right and left margins of the screen Other than that everything works perfectly
Thx developer for making this awesome ROM looking forward in future I think many probs will be fixed
Thank you very much

very smooth and customizable kernel for lineageOS oreo based custom ROMs.
Very Nice kernel. A lot of customizations!
Thanks and keep the great work! ?
Hi Palaych,
Thanks for this kernel!
Any plan to make it available for Xperia Z (Yuga) as well?

1728Mhz CPU & 487 Mhz GPU is the limit.
Thanks for the information.
I have the kernel installed. I would like to increase the limit of GPU and CPU.
Want to play games with the tablet.
I can test it at my own risk, then we participate
all of them?
I think for the developer it is a "5 minute project" to increase the limits.
Then each user can decide for himself which limit he uses.
Use app like Kernel Adiutor to set clocks whatever you want withing specified limits.
P.S Though with overclock you'll get only monstrous battery disharge, but no suffucient performance boost. This 6 year old tablet is not for gaming....
Hello Palaych,
Thanks again for this kernel that makes my xperia tablet z running smooth and fast (10% to 20% faster without compromising battery capacity).
I would like to install this kernel in my xperia z (smartphone) but I don't really know what to modify to make it compatible. It is the same hardware. Only differences are a bigger screen, a bigger battery capacity, IR remote and no vibrator for xperia tablet z. Other components are strictly the same (CPU, GPU, RAM, ...).
Can you please help me by compiling MiPa kernel to make it compatible with my xperia z (yuga)?
If you're out of time to do so, could you please tell me what modifications to do? (If you have any documentation on how to build a kernel for xperia z, I am also interested in).
Thanks.

can you pull request and see if lineage os maintainer will merge some of these patches into the main kernel? it's a bit pain in the butt to check the topic for update and flash it everytime lineage os gets an update

You can try, but some changes just can be merged in LOS, due to their policy.
quick noob question (never flashed a custom kernel before):
I'm currently running the unofficial lineageOS 16 ROM. If I now flash this kernel here, and then later onflash an update of the entire ROM: is it correct to assuem that I would then have to flash the kernel again after the ROM is updated?
