hi, I have galaxy note 5 duos (sm-n9208) and i have some issues with my battery. This issue already appeared when i still use non rooted nougat stock rom. My phone suddenly turn off at random battery level when i dont charge it. When i plug of my cable, the phone directly turn off. So i changed my battery and the problem seems gone, and then i installed twrp and lineage os 17.1. But after 3 months usage, the issue appeared again. At this point, i realized the problem disappears when i enter TWRP, but when i enter to system again the problem appears again.
What should i do?

Hi, yesterday my phone run out of power so i put it to wall charger. it was still running but battery showed 5%.
Then i made it off and i went sleep and kept it plugged. Today i cant access my phone, i managed to get to recovery and changed rom to cm7.1.2 ( i thought it has some issue with ics rom) and my phone doesn't start up at all, sometimes it turns on when i keep it plugged it tries to charge battery shows 5% and turns off again. i tried to boot it up without battery inside but with no luck.
This can be battery based problem or something with phone ?
(Haven't found any solution on the web yet)
RE: problem solved, battery just started loading
my note is rooted.
few days ago i faced a wierd problem. My phone suddenly turn off. I tried to on it but it only show the "galaxy note gt n7000" screen for few seconds and off. Then i tried connect the charger and on it. then it on without problem & battery level shows 87% as it was when phone turn off. then i unpluged the charger and phone turned off immediately after i did so. Now my phone only works when it connect to the charger. But i put my galaxy s i9000's small battery to the note and on it. It works without any problem with that battery.
I checked my note's battery with my friend's note and battery works fine. I put his battery in to mine and turn on the phone. But the problem exists.
But with my galaxy s battery phone works fine.
when the problem happened my phone is in the CM12 lollipop beta 6 rom by Bauner.
I reflash it with stock rom using odin but didn't solve.
Plzzz help....

Hey guys,
I'm facing some weird battery behavior ever since I flashed my phone with unofficial roms.
I'm currently using a Cyanogenmod 12.1 Unofficial build. I'm going explain the problem as detailed as possible.
Everything works fine, except after a boot, the phone ALWAYS shuts down in 2 to 3 minutes while a SIM card is present.
If a SIM card is not present, the phone shuts down anytime between 5 minutes to 1 hour.
The reason? The battery reading jumps from an accurate value to 0% and the phone shuts down.
ALSO, When I connect a charger, the phone shows "Charging" but no battery is detected (Charging 0% AC), so when I remove the charger, the phone immediately shuts down due to 0% battery.
Lets call this Mode 1
---
Well, now I tried something. I connected the charger, and then pulled out the battery while it was still connected.
The phone went off.
Now on a restart, the phone stays at the bootloader screen for 1.5 to 2 minutes (Samsung GS3 I9305)
Now after the phone boots up, everything looks normal, but now, the battery stays at 99% all the time. No matter how much I use or try to charge it, 99% always.
This is Mode 2
In short,
Mode 1: 5 seconds at bootloader, Accurate battery reading, Sudden 0%, phone shutdown
Mode 2: 2 minutes at bootloader, Inaccurate 99% battery reading, never shuts down.
Now I can switch between Mode 1 and Mode 2 by connecting a charger and pulling out the battery while its still connected. I've done this atleast 4 times and it always worked. Weird.
What is going on really? Any ideas on how to fix this?
P.S.
I've tried:
Flashing Samsung S3 i9305 stock 4.4.4
Flashing Cyanogenmod 10.1 (Official)
Flashing Cyanogenmod 11 ( Latest Nightly build)
Same problem everywhere.
Also tried Battery Calibration apps
I don't have a backup of the original stock rom as it was already broken in the first place.
Hello to everyone
I have a very weird issue with my T-mobile Note 4 SM-910T3.
Ive had this phone for like 4 years now. I had many custom ROMS on it with the very last one being Project L N7 with Note 7 features by Lanc-City. Let me note that this ROM had many bugs nevertheless I liked it for its features.
Now let me get right to the point:
My battery is original and yes it is old, my phone would turn off/restart on about a 45% charge then about 20% again and 15% would be the lowest and I'd have to charge it.
I believe I had about 30-35% of battery left and I had my flashlight on (torch) and forgot about it being on in my pocket for like 10 minutes.
When I got back home I noticed the flashlight was still on so I tried to turn it off and immediately my phone went dead.
Since then my N910T3 only turns onwhen plugged into power through its usb port/charger.
When it's plugged in, the battery charging icon with the lightning bolt shows up after some time and either stays on with no percentage or the phone just keeps bootlooping on & off into the battery and it does not charge at all.
The phone will not boot into android at all.
Initially I tried a few different batteries but to no avail.
So I go into TWRP recovery, cleared dalvik cache, full factory reset and all other stuff and for a minute I thought my phone is back up and running with the choose your language screen of the Project L N7 but right when I tried to choose the language my phone turned off.
After this incident I'm unable to get into recovery, doesn't show "recovery booting.. "and it won't boot into recovery mode at all.
So now I try Download mode and it still works but not completely, phone does not show up in ODIN or in Samsung KIES or in device manager.
I did install fresh Samsung drivers, then did fresh KIES install but no luck
I'm unable to do emergency factory reset through KIES or any other way such as through recovery from micro SD card.
My mum has a T-mobile SM-N910T (take note; mine is the N910T3, so a little updated revision) and hers shows up immediately on ODIN & KIES with no problems.
I love this phone and in my opinion the new note8 isn't much of an upgrade but I still like it however I'll wait until the Note9 comes out and see how refined and updated it is because of the tick-tock upgrade cycle whereas the tock is a much more refined version of the tick (take for example Intel processors tick tock cycle and you know what I mean)
If you're able to help me, please do so.
Kind regards,
God bless.
For quite some time I already have the problem that the phone almost always shuts down once i plug in the charger.
It reboots to the bootloader, recovery selection and then briefly shows 65% battery and then the actual battery state.
I'm currently on AOSP 6, however this problem was already present with older versions. I also tried using different basebands without success.
This issue has been becoming quite annoying as I always have to manually restart the phone again to actually boot up instead of showing the charging animation when turned off. I hope you guys can help me with this.
