hi galaxy ace s5830i how can i open whatsapp on my phone? I wonder if there is a ROM that opens whatsapp?
No custom ROM will make your phone support WhatsApp, as it needs an ARMv7 processor in order to work (missing libraries for ARMv6). Sorry, but all ACE come with an ARMv6 processor so no whatsapp for us.
imagine you have a lot of knowledge about compiling or something, maybe with an emulation or translating armv7 library to armv6 but deserving or stay as a "armv7" to make it work c: (just an idea)
Hi I will use my old phone ace s5830i ı tried some roms to run whatsapp but ı cant is it really impossible(I can do everything to this phone,I have nothing to lose)
some people talked about armv6 - 7 etc ...I dont know anything about it is there a way to improve it to armv 7??

I bet you didn't get this from the playstore, else get your money back! If you got it from Internet download another Version, I also read some games need chainfire 3d take a look at that if the other versions won't work

Hi, I have an s5830i with android 2.3.6.
My problem is, that the gtalk onboard is not able to make audio calls.
Viber is verry ****ty, and I would like to use gtalk for this.
Tried to update it through play, but it's the latest aviable for this device.
I'm rooted and I have a cwm recovery, but for several reason I don't want to flash a custom rom (please don't try to convince me about this, I have my reasons).
I've found this topic on xda, but it states, that it wouldn't work on devices with arm6, wich the s5830i is.
So, is there any other hacked gtalk app that can be applied to the s5830i for gtalk audio calls to be enabled?
so my question is about kernels.i download multiple roms and try them.each of this rom has unique problem and its really frustrating what to install on,to work for all what i need.i need more ram,i saw the post and tutorial and made exactly all steps.anyway,ofc it didnt work.i found some replay says about custom kernel.so,if i install any kernel,does affect on rom,does version of android stays same????any kernel can be installed to rom i have atm??i didnt found any answer about that.today im dealing all day with this on forum,checking all ower for answers and it driving me mad cause i still cant comment on some post and i really need it.cause of that im spanding hours for my ace to have all what i need. big internal memory,bigger size of ram working camera and no lag rom.you my think im spanding time for a sh1tty phone,well thats true.another question:is there any kernel(tweak)for wifi???i have ace and huawei in same room.ace wifi works just sux as much as he can,whatever rom i put on,wifi going still sux,disconecting etc on each rom i installed.my huawei phone also ****ty phone more than ace,the wifi works non stop at full signal,black market works fast,google play works fast.on ace black market works slow as snail on whatever rom i install,google play works normal,on some roms slow and lagy.so i saw comments about wifi.people said about router to configure,well its just stupid,cause i have 2 phones in my room and i see what is going on.simply,ace has most sh1ty wifi ever and modem has nothing to do,my 2nd room is 5meters away from modem,just 5 meters and ace cant handle,thats really lame.so,any solutions about that i would be really apriciated .
If you change kenrel, android version will remain same.

On rom JB CM10.
I had experienced that problem in CM7 ROMS.
And you cannot install any kernel on any rom.

Root your phone, Flash ROM's and the most important READ , READ and READ through forums !
Our Ace doesn't have a great processor so don't expect games like Temple Run 2 to work very smooth n all !
If you still wanna play the game ..download the apk from the below link and install in on your Ace

Ever since i have installed it ,i have tried to install GTA 3 on my Phone (Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830).I have tried everything,but the second i start the app i get a black screen and after 2-3 secconds a error saying :Unfortunantely,GTA 3 has stopped!

dude gta 3 will never run on ace no matter what rom you try cos it is a very heavy and high end game
it will not run on armv6 unless it is ported which is a diffuct task to do

I know that it's a heavy game,but I have played it on my phone when I had the stock rom and there is a ton of videos on YouTube that have people playing gta3 on Ace using the ripped version of the game with minimum to no lag!
CM9(ICS 4.0.4) consumes much more RAM as compared to CM7(GB 2.3.x) and Stock based roms(GB 2.3.x),which does not provide enough free ram to play games.. If you want to play games, I suggest you to use roms based on CM7 or Stock based roms..
