I got the update to miui 12 toda.
I was playing around, i switched the classic theme with another one and now the classic theme is missing the super wallpaper animation. It was similar to mars, but a different view. Also, the location was different. Any way i can get that back?

The images only prove that the lock screen is different. But i can assure you the classic one had spinning animation and a zoom in one when unlocking screen. Because i changed theme, i have lost the classic one. Now when i set it, i doesnt have animations.

Go to settings/wallpaper and super wallpaper than chose earth or mars.
I know about those.
The classic is a different image of mars. Thats why i posted the screenshots.
Its like the classic is a default super wallpaper that gets disabled once you change it. But how do i get it back? New users who upgrade to miui 12 and havent changed anything maybe can confirm.

I really like this clock:

However it takes up far too much space on the home screen. I was wondering whether anyone has managed to modify these widgets?
If it was the same as the small version of this clock:
This is not possible cuz of closes code of HTC's Apps
I was hoping it was possible. I've worked out how to add additional clocks at the same size (anyone good at graphics design could make some nice new ones), but I haven't figured out how the OS deals with the small clocks yet.
it's probably easier to create a new Android widget clock that fits the size you need. I do agree that a lot of those HTc Hero clocks take up way too much space. They are 4x3 widgets, but if you look at them, some resizing could easily take them 4x2. I'd find someone willing to make a new widget which would then work on the Hero and any other android phone as well.
Oh well. I'm not in a development mood at the moment. Will have to look at it at a future date.
Why not look here: /system/etc/clockwidget/
Looks like this is where the clocks are kept... No reason why you cannoy edit or add to what is already there....

I have already played around with those parts. Although the layout.properties file looks promising the spanX and spanY settings seem to be ignored. I resized the images, changed positions of the hands which worked, but it still occupied the same area of the screen (all be it with my visible space).
Have any ideas?
Maybe the settings are loaded somewhere else or they cannot be changed when rosie is running?

Well I pushed a new configuration and restarted the phone, but no luck
Turns out another dev has done A LOT of work on clocks, see below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=538189
This is just the beginning of my own personal morph project. I have taken bits and pieces from other themes and used them in this morph.
This is currently known to work perfectly on CM 4.2.7.1 and CM 4.2.8. I would assume it would be fine for Any of the recent versions on CM.
At this point, this morph does NOT work if you are running Stericson's lockscreen. I am looking into a workaround for it, but so far I am not getting it to work correctly.
**EDIT** This is a MetaMorph ONLY. Do not try flashing this as a normal theme. **EDIT**
The launcher is from the old Gloss-Suite from MoonSpoon
The Power control Widget was taken from one of Ted's old Hero themes.
The background on the notification dropdown is from an old version of David's Minus theme.
The black statusbar is from the blackbar morph. (unknown who did it originally)
Anyhow, I threw them all together into 1 single flash morph. (will require a reboot due to changing the framework-res.apk)
I hope to add more stuff as I find things that peak my interest. Or if anyone has any ideas they would like to see added.

I like this. Simplistic and clean. The wallpaper is hot too. Where can I get that?
I can email you the wallpaper if you want it. It is one I made myself.
yeah, please make a link for the background
Wallpaper link posted.
This is AWESOME. I just tried doing this on my own, using parts of a theme that uses this exact look. I was, of course, unsuccessful, as I know nothing about modding. Thanks a bunch for this.
I think this looks a lot better than the stock look, and is what Android should have used to begin with.
Edit: Installed this over CM 428 with LockScreen. Phone booted, got the CM flash, then a blank black screen.
very clean look and sexy background. good job man

It is because the lockscreen changes the framework-res and if i'm not mistaken, the services.jar. I will ask around and look into it and see if I can figure out a workaround for it and release a version for use with Stericson's lockscreen.
Sorry, I wasn't real sure where to put this. The screen shot pretty much says it all.
I'm using the theme here, for MIUI, yet this happens on all the popular dark themes I've tried. It's very hard to see the gray text containing address info against the gray background with the popup results menu in Google Navigation.
Is there an easy fix for this? Thanks.

I've always had the same problem. Never found a solution except to use light themes.

LOL??? thanks for pointing this out.. i just spotted this in my theme and totally missed it.. so im going to work on this right away!!
Certainly, it's like this on a lot of themes, even the default on.
I know it's part of the framework, but I don't know what specifically needs to edited to change this without affecting the rest of the theme.
Have you tried this:
(I'm using a French rom, so all the terms I'm going to use may be not the good ones in English..)
Go to Settings, Applications Manager, search and tap on Google Navigation in your apps list, then de-activate Compatibility Mode.. It worked for me with some unreadable white on white texts..
If it doesn't work (sorry about it, first.. ), just re-activate Compatibility Mode (just in case)
Hey I'm looking for the HTC sense weather widget blue grid background(s) but I just can't seem to find them, I've downloaded two different sense ROMs that have them but can only find the icons.

I have a feeling they could be located in a .m10 file called: Lockscreen_weather_bg.m10
Does anyone know where I can locate it, or if I can open up .m10 files and get the image I can only get the text of them so far, looking around for different tutorials.

found a tutorial, but still having trouble.
For you
Day
Morning
Night
BTW you can use the Wallpaper Changer from the Google Play to change morning, day and night wallpapers according to the set times.
Does someone know the changing times of the lock screen wallpapers?
And just for the record: in the above post the day wallpaper is morning and vice versa.
Thanks for your help. For future reference in case someone is searching for the same question, the reason why it didn't work is because the M10 Editor that I was using can't decompile Sense 4.0 at this time - so I used Sense 3.0 files.

I've been using Tasker to change the wallpaper at different time (can't do lockscreen wallpaper AFAIK), I only set up two wallpapers though but I made the wallpapers the right dimensions for my phone - HD2 obviously and I'm NexusHD2 with the DPI set to 192 (not sure if it makes a difference to wallpapers (don't think so).
So you just need to disable wallpaper scrolling.
This pack has the three wallpapers 960x800 4.39 MB
Thanks gonne try this with tasker for the nice effect what you got on your hd2
Today I got a system update of around 120mb and after that the themes are not working properly.
The theme icon are not showing up on the home screen or in the menus. I am using a material theme and the changed icon is showing only on the lock screen.
I've tried different themes, restarting the handset and I even did a hard reset.
Anybody else facing this problem?

Same problem here.
I've tried to install/reinstall different themes but the issue persists.
I think Samsung screwed it up badly. I don't have the new update, but when I submit themes to the store they tell me it has all these problems that are out of my control. Random icons moved, or not showing, certain colours not changing etc. One of my themes is literally one that is in the store now only with different colours, so it definitely would have any mistakes in it.
There was a recent system update and now the themes are woking fine.
Maybe you guys should wait a bot more, it'll be probably corrected soon.
Same here
Even after a second update I still only have standard icons no matter what theme is chosen. The lock screen is the only place correct icons are shown. This is six days after last update that started the problem. Any suggestions?
