Recently I had installed android 11 beta on my Pixel 4 xl then out of no where it started to say System UI has stopped working and I couldn't open my device so I flashed android 10 onto it but after doing so my face unlock wont work. Whenever I try to set it up it says Face enrollment didn't work.
If would mean a lot to me for any solutions.

Hi quick question, does this solution works with any Pixel 4 XL? I installed factory image after tested android 11 for a couple of weeks. Everything was working fine until I update to latest firmware, then face unlock stop working. My Pixel 4 XL is US version. Thanks in advance for your help!

Should we flash the new international/generic july factory rom or the Telstra one again,?
Yes, the Telstra version, but there are some affirmations that the recently July update fixed the face unlock issue with the default version.
Well i Factory reset my phone with beta 2 and couldnt set Up the face unlock It doesnt recognize my face, it says put the face into the circle all the time so I decided to back to July build with android 10 thinking of it will solve the problem but it still says the same

Problem you may face:
Will relock your bootloader.
You may not be able to restore your previous backup.
It is working great for some people and for some people it's a nightmare.

Why you should install it, there are 2 reasons.
You miss Finger Print Sensor
You miss Finger Print Sensor a lot.
Fingerprint unlock performance is amazingly faster than offical MIUI. And in case you don't miss Fingerprint sensor , I don't see any point of flashing this ROM. Instead go here [CYNOGEN MOD 13 ]and install my favorite ROM from one of my Fav developer @Santosh

I've issues on this ROM so I reverted back to MM 6.01 CM 13 and now I can't access the security options in settings and neither set a password,pin or pattern. Any idea what's going on?

flash a miui rom then reunlock, you need to replace the emmc_appsboot from here with the one in 5.1.1

Can you explain step by step, if you don't mind.
safest way would be to dl fastboot ROM from miui, flash it via miflash. then simply unlock BL again using MI unlock, flash recovery as you did before and you re good to go. fastboot rom will revert everything on ur phone like it was when u bought it. rooting/unlocking you'll need to do again, but hes everything will be working as it should.

Same thing when I happened with me. But since battery issue is fixed I'm happy with Chinese ROM.

I could not find one. I found the module on Google.
You can take a look inside the zip, it is just face unlock and required libs from opengapps packaged as a magisk module.
You could even download the latest gapps and replace the files in the module zip with those from the gapps zip.
Works exceptionally well on my 3a XL. I did the model training about 10 times from different angles and it recongises me within half a second if not less.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did the same a few days ago and am seeing much faster and more reliable unlocks.
Is there anyway to have the option where it goes straight to the home screen instead of having to swipe after it is face unlocked?

Not possible tbh. Face unlock is completely removed from smart lock. no way to bring it back except for custom ROMs.

Wow DP 3 is actually usable! Actually starting to feel finished there are some new features that are really nice such as a preference panel that bring all your customization options into one menu. Icon Pack, Wallpaper, Theme, Horizon Light, Clock Style, Fingerprint Animation, and even settings icon and quick settings icon shapes can be changed here. So far my experience is very smooth and running very well. Defiantly able to use this as a daily now.
Strangely enough, This update is usable.

I agree, although I don't like the way they've laid out the customisation options. They should be vertical instead of all rammed into one screen like the ugly iOS settings. I managed to get it rooted by rooting the boot.img. Unsurprisingly it doesn't pass safetynet check, ctsProfile shows false.

i managed to install it on tmobile 7 pro converted to international but i have no data or network connection , it actually says when it boots up that my device is not unlock and to run the unlock app , weird , anyone manage to get this one working on tmobile 7 pro with data working ?

I had the same problem. I installed twice, and got same message. I'm not unlocked, so I assumed that's why. However, I did install dp1 and data was working fine

I have the T-Mobile version that I was running on the international version and nothing like this happened. Did you SIM unlock before converting or did you use a tool to convert?

I did not unlocked before converting I use the tool , I guessing it needs to be unlocked for it to work
Sow post about pixel new camera, it work on our pixel 3a didnt find bug so far. To install it you need to download apkmirror instaler from playstore. The last version 8.1 worked here

Yep got it yesterday but the only thing that has changed was the interface I was expecting the cinematic pas and portait nightsight but non of that came with the 8.1update

Yep, got it too finally, it's like you say it. I dont think we will get all the updates that newer models take, A) because of processing power maybe B) because google must sell more newer phones, so if it gives you everything on the older model, you won't buy a new one so soon.

why you lock the bootloader ? just leave it unlocked, when flash firmware use the option clean_all DONT clean_all_and_lock and the bootloader will keep unlocked
I need to lock bl for security purposes, as you know fingerprint stop working after bl is unlocked, thats why.

fingerprint wont stop working after unlock bootloader, i use with unlocked bootloader, if you are consenrt about "security" just leave your device full stock, nothing else will give a miracle solution

Bro I have no problem with the miui, actually i watch youtube very much, but after using it continuously for more than 1 hour. The YouTube app stuck and starts lagging a lot. After that i have to clear cache to make is work fine. Can you please provide any help?

I have same issue from Sep. I tried to flash a different version of official rom (latest version) last month and still no luck. I have youtube premium and not only loading often got stucked at the beginning of video, but also have randomly sound stuttering with screen off.
Not fixed for me.
Bro you should flash the miui 12.5.15 and after that update through the updater app. It will install the new update properly.

Most people who have this problem after upgraded to MIUI 13. Why didn't you receive MIUI 13 update? My version number is 13.0.10.0 .
Seems we are not on the same page.

Mine is the Taiwanese variant. Current version is different from global one. 13.0.2.0 as I remember. I have this problem after upgraded from MIUI 12 to MIUI 13 . Not solved after two months. So I tried so-called Global Stable ROM (which is 13.0.10.0) with my fingers crossed. And the problem remained.
Not only youtube but also spotify have audio shattered problem. quite annoying.
