[Q] Dock trigger

I have done a search here and Google and cannot find out what triggers the dock modes on the SGS. Does anyone have any idea ? Just to be clear. I mean what triggers the SGS to go into one of the dock modes when it is put in to a physical OEM dock.

I wonder if those UI assets are present on the international Galaxy S or exclusive for the Fasinate which the dock seems marketed for.
Or were you referring to a different 'docking' mode?

The dock apps are available on the market. Just use My Market and set your service provider to T-mobile.

That's the one. Doesn't it look sweet. Yes I know that the apps are on the market but I am looking for the trigger that automatically activates them when it is placed in the mount. On HTC itis when you plug in the special car charger (shorted pin on USB), on Moto it is a magnetic switch (magnets are in different places in the various mounts) So what id the trigger mechanism for the Vibrant/SGS?

I'm fairly certain it's a USB trigger since my magnetic case never triggers anything.

The very skilled developer @biktor_gj has created the Android Wear port for our Gear 2/Neo.
He has ported AW already about 1 year ago and since then the Gear 2 was also able to be used on the iPhone.
He is currently still developing to make the new update (version 6.0.1 better, but he needs to have more information. He suspects that he will get more when the Huawei or Zenwatch 2 get their updates to 6.0.1, as they also have a speaker for actually making telephone conversations from the watch. That doesn't work yet in the current beta version that he has created. But I know he will make it happen quite soon.

I have just setup my gear 2 neo with android wear synced with my iPhone 6. It works but I may try to merge some of the features with the null rom from my GG.

I've never tried but why should be problems?

In the "Android Auto" forum you can see that some smartphones doesn't work properly with Android Auto or even connect to it.
¿Nobody has tested Z2 with Android Auto?

Works on my Zuk Z2 with Custom Rom.

Just got a Z2. AA doesn't work! Tried all the fixes. Tried to work once put a bunch of garbage on the screen and quit. Never worked again even with reboot and factory reset. The car screen indicates that it is reading the USB when the cable is plugged in but that's it. Bluetooth works fine. Yes, I tried turning bluetooth off. No difference.

It worked flawlessly when I had ZUI Global Custom by Francko ... but I moved to SlimRom and AA works but with some problems (sudden disconnections, change UI from clear to dark, doesn't read my whatsapps aloud ... )
I'm thinking to move to other AOSP ROM (maybe Mokee, maybe RR) and test AA again.

Hi. After an upgrade to emui 9.0 and Android pie 9.0 everything was pretty darn smooth.
That is, until, my bank updates their app. Then this:

However, this Phone is clean. As you know you must have the damn bootloader code from Huawei to modify this thing, I never got that far, so I could never do anything to the Phone.
The old app works just fine, and due to my work i have an app for atleast 7 other Banks as well, so im assuming this bank (my primary bank) has done a boo boo and ****ed up their root check somehow.
The bank of course doesnt believe me.
My question is: What could possibly give this app a false positive root check? Do you guys know about any settings that might trigger it?
Im hoping I dont have to factory reset this thing.

how to turn old android into android auto wireless adapter

I have a mobile phone in the car only for android auto, but I wanted it to be the wireless adapter, because my car does not have AA Wireless.

All you need is a wirless adapter for it. I will probably recommend another AACARPLAY AI Box for you, not only wireless AA, it brings full android OS to your car. You can take your car the same as your phone.

Is it possible to turn any android phone into adapter??!

Just have the hotspot running. But how to set it up to work on the phone's main sim to the speaker?

Not sure if this still works, but I've used it years ago and was working. Not the most stable (back then) but it did provide a way to change my wired android auto connection in the car to a wireless one.
Of course, you still need a car which supports wired Android Auto.
