K20 pro (china rom) issues with fonts and themes - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

i have a K20 Pro (Miui 12 Indian Rom) and i wanted to try the Chinese ROM on Miui 12, so i flashed it successfully.
but found that i can't change the font of the english interface (roboto) and as there's no region selection in china rom, i couldn't switch to india to have english based themes & fonts.
also i've installed Oxygen OS icon back but i don't have the option to choose any icon pack other than the default one.
any work around??

Try xiaomi.eu
It has versatile options. The theme app will show chinese themes though, mostly.

It's the same MIUI rom! Just buffed up!
Try magisk modules otherwise.

Nova Launcher is a good option, but if you want to stay on Xiaomi app's, use Poco Launcher, it has that option.

Wallpaper Carousel in Global Beta?

Just went back from Xiaomi.eu to Global Beta 9.5.30...is there no Wallpaper Carousel, can't find anything or might it depend on region settings (my region is Germany)?
Obviously there is an APP called " Wallpaper Carousel" when searchin Apps but noway to activate it in settings.....
Thx for your help.
I think that is only on Chinese ROM and the xiaomi.eu that is based on the Chinese... On Global ROM we can't active it. At least I can't (I'm on Global) and when I have a phone with Xiaomi.eu I can

Hi all, it is kind of funny because I just received an actualization for the wallpaper carrousell app that I cannot use...I have a Mi 9 with the European ROM (10.2.30.0(PFAEUXM). Can someone confirm if it's a region or a ROM issue?

Flashed Indian Version MIUI 11.0.1, Font still not Mi Lanting Pro

I flashed MIUI 11 on my K20 pro and very disappointed to see, although under Fonts Mi Lanting Pro is selected by default but font is still old Robusta/Roboto(not sure the name, but it is same old one). Tried so many times but its always the same. Anyone facing this issue or I need to do something else!!!

[Mi 9t pro] Flashing miui 11, android 10 indian rom (k20 pro)

Mi 9t pro
Want to convert to india rom (k20 pro) from global, already downloaded miui 11, android 10 india (.zip).
it's recovery rom, not fastboot.
should I put it in downloaded_rom folder and unlock bootloader then install a custom recovery to flash it?

You better flash xiaomi.eu miui11 Rom
Because indian rom doesn't support NFC
and it's pretty bloated. Even the xiaomi music app is bloated by Hungama add-on(and it's really frustrating).
If you flash miui11 by xiaomi.eu you don't need to flash firware and vendor file as the Rom itself contains them .
I highly suggest you to flash xiaomi eu rom
And it's far better than official MIUI
And less bloated
Only con is - no OTA updates in Xiaomi.eu roms
Every update is around 2.1GB in size
(I personally use xiaomi.eu MIUI 11 beta rom)
