Call Recording - Sony Xperia 1 II Questions & Answers

Hi!
I want to buy a Xperia 1 ii (XQ-AT52) phone. Recording calls is important to me. Does anyone know a solution to record calls without root?
Please help!

You have many apps on Google Store.

Hello!
Can I buy this device safely?
The function is not disabled on this unit? Will any program work for me in both directions? Can you recommend me one that will definitely work?
Thanks.

I use Call recorder from Appliquato (dowload it from Google store) on XPERIA 1 II. If you unable it in Accessibility settings it works fine. And it has Auto call recording. So, as I sad: You have many apps on Google Store.

I'll try and then answer you.

Hello!
I’ve tried several apps, but unfortunately none of them are perfect. My own voice sounds good, but the other party’s voice is very low.
Is there a solution for this?
Thanks.

Apps suck. Is there native recording? Enabled via Magisk or Xposed? Integrated into native call app? That's how it works on all my rooted phones last x years. Apps suck.

In-call recorder?

Is there a in-call recorder app working for Milestone2?
I tried several applications from market without success
Don't they work at all or record only your voice?
I tried Record My Call
but due to Android limitations most of the apps including this one record voices only via microphone, so my voice is ok, but the caller's voice is very very low or there is nothing at all ;(
they record only my voice, the trick would be to activate the speaker during the calls, but it's not the same...
I don't think it's an Android limitation, my old Xperia X10 mini works fine with several apps
Because the software can only record through the microphone... the Crystal Talk feature (noise cancelling) of the MS2 will treat the caller's voice as noise and "cancel" it.
i use TotallRecall. it records only callers voice. i cant hear MY voice
It would be nice if we had one call recorder native on cm10.2
there is! you have to install xposed framework and use the call recording module search this forum....

And also MoKee Rom with autocallrecorder.
So, at least we have 3 options and all of them are 4.3.1 Jellybean
Greetings
Automatic Call Recorder works fine on my a953. worked using CM10.1 and 11.
:good:
I also think, that the xposed call recorder would be a good solution.
Their work is great!

Yes that is worked for me also. Network call can be made easily. But I'm asking native video call which can make from dialer app itself
The asus dialer doesn't support video calling for me. it just goes to Duo.
I hope someone finds a way to install the google phone APK. I had native carrier video calling on my pixel 3 and also duo.
As far as I knew duo is the native video caller for Android. If I am not mistaken duo was used as the "FaceTime" version built in direct to Google phones such as the pixel and Nexus series. I use duo constantly and it works pretty seem less with the occasional bad connection

I could see why people may think so but it is actually not.
My Pixel 3 XL supported native videocalling through its phone app. It also had an option to call out using Duo.
I don't believe there is a way to set a default app for just videochat.
The cool thing about native video calling is that you don't need an app to use it. (Well, in this case, WE do!)
Same problem
Hi bro . I facing same problem. I have used poco F1 earlier in that You can do video call without using internet data. But this Rog 2 is not showing any option to do video call not even receiving nativ video call. Little disappointed with this beast. Any solution ?
We have to find a dialer that supports native carrier videocalling. I have not tried any yet
Please share that dialer app
Please

I tried jio calling dialer but that dialer will bring you to default dialer if you try to make video call. Lil disappointed.

Call recording on android 10

Did anybody test if call recording programs like ACR Cube Call Recorder still work fine with android 10 like it does with android 9? I've contacted Samsung support via Samsung Members and they refused to give me an answer because they say it's still in Beta.
I use Cube ACR and on android q it doesn't record anything. However I haven't tried recording when loud speaker is enabled or with headphones. It could work but needs to be tested. I really hope there will be a workaround for this (without root) but tbh I don't think it will happen
Call recording is blocked from the kernel and is only allowed in certain local versions or custom roms. It has been a long time since it was implemented. It is very likely to be maintained in the new versions because there were very many signs of user dissatisfaction but Google did not react positively.
So I bet it won't work in version 10 either.
I have Android 10 final on Galaxy S10 and Call Recorder not working. Only working Call Recorder Skvalex, but he is comercial.
Changing csc to THL still does the job for the native call recorder. That's what I'm using on 10
Skvakex works for 100%? Never heard of it tho but I'm gonna buy it if it works

It is worked for me. Trial 15 days. You can try.
Thanks, but I'll pass it for now. I've left a bad review on play store for cube acr, and they replied with a message how to set up the app on android q and it works! In case anyone wondering, you have to select voice recognition (software), and then the slider beneath to 100%.

Cube ACR uses Voice communication (software) for Android 9, but also has that option.
As I wrote on an other thread, the bad thing of call recording by Skvakex is about BT recordings, the other side is not recorded.
While the native call recorder (changing the csc) works fine and you can still use SkValex for recorded file managing.
The bad thing on this case, is when Android Auto is connected. Native call recorder does not start when a call is enstablished.
This is with Android 9, but I think nothing is changed with Android 10. I'm afraid that the final solution in any case is root...

Did you read my message? No root needed with cube acr.

Did you try with Bluetooth calls? And what about Android auto calls?
As I wrote, even SkValex is good for "normal" calls without root...
No and no.
But so does cube acr which is free.

Same thing if you are on earphones or headphones (wired or bluetooth), it only records your voice, but it's just because the speaker is far from the microphone

They refused because it's not their business to figure out if 3rd party apps work with their software.
