Seems I just made a mistake, but hope for your advice...
I have order a Relame x50m 5G from China for delivery to me in Sweden...
..now it seems as it will be delivered with a China ROM and no support for Swedish language..
Would be happy to get advice how to solve this...would like to have Swedish language, Google Play, etc

Yup, the price in China is a lot lower than in Europe.
If it's possible to change the ROM to the Global, I will buy it.
Really hope someone have some idea/solutions how to replace CN rom on my Realme x50m....For example,is it possible to flash a x50 pro Global rom???
Still no one have a solution to suggest??

Maybe someone tried unlocking the bootloader? I guess soon all will need some custom roms.
What's the difference between a global rom and a Chinese rom? Im thinking of buying this phone but it comes with a chinese rom, will it still work like a normal android device?

For the first time I bought a mobile with CN rom (Realme x50m 5G) and I got it yesterday. On beforehand I was thinking on try to change to a Global rom…
When I got it, it has Android 10, and when you start up you could change too English, it also seems have Russian, and some Asian and Arabic. So if you can use some of these langues it should not be much problem.
From my old mobile I have made backup using my Google account, and when I start up the new mobile, I could easily download Google Play, Google Drive and Google Chrome and when I log into my Google account, I could get all my previous apps.
The mobile itself works very much as my previous mobile with its Global rom. It has a lot of Chinse preinstalled apps, but most of them you can delete.
At first, I also try to download the rom for Realme x50 5G, but it did not accept that, so I went back and are now using version RMX2142_11_A.07
Ii think if you understand English its no problem, and many of the apps you are using you can have in your own language, if it’s not English

One quick question, i read on another forum that, for example, WhatsApp messages will often not come through until the app is open. They mention this happens because that app relies on the google play framework to display notifications.
Has this happened to you on your new device? Do all notifications on google apps work well?

When coming WhatsApp messages so I have not so fare anyhow, had any problem with messages..it arrives and I also get the notifications..

No problem with WhatsApp so fare, I get messages and notifications...and so fare no problem with any notifications...

First of all, where did you find the Global ROM?
I haven't seen it yet on the page of Realme: https://www.realme.com/eu/support/software-update
Also, what procedure did you tried to install the Global ROM? You did it from Recovery?

Probably I was not very clear in my text, sorry for that, but what I did was TRY to install a Global rom, but it did not work, and I did try from Recovery...so now I use the rom "RMX2142_11_A.07"...

But where did you download the ROM you are mentioning?
Realme does not have it on their official webpage and the one you said, RMX2142_11_A.07 , I can't find on Google.

Hi,
I found this site realmeupdater.com .Don't know if its here where Mr. Amrena got the rom. The site suggest that every rom and update is available to download there.
Do you have the Realme X50 5G Chinese version too?

I was downloadingto my laptop from https://realmeupdater.com/downloads/latest/
and then moved it to the mobile...
When I after that (as I did not succed with the rom for X50 5G, I went into Recovery and selected "online download" and somehow it downloaded to my mobile the version "RMX2142_11_A.07"...Actually dont know how it happens...https://cdn-cf-3.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Weird, I can't find the Global Version in that site neither:

Hi today I got new problems.....
One is that I cant donwload apps from Google Play...seems some setting must be changed, but can find it..
.second is that for long time I have used an SMS-app "My SMS" on my laptop and my androidmobile without problem..for at least 5 years....now it no works as I cant change the preset SMS on this mobile...
What I will do now is too go into Revcovery on my mobile, and download the rom from the net..its a selection you do as a part of the recovery process..lets see what rom I will get..

Because the distributor wants you to have it, in order to prevent you claiming insurance when your phone breaks due to updates and/or any kind of modifications. Yes, you should change it to official ROM and read a lot, A LOT of existing forum topics and documentations, unless you want to keep yourself locked with that fake ROM functionality.

Don't think that far. Just think that the distributor doesn't want you to modify the ROM in any way than the one they've been testing (and adding bloatwares) on.
What rom should I be installing? I have read all the forums posts but alot of people seem to be using my (fake) eu rom perfectly and are happy with it.
Can someone send me a link to exactly the rom I should be using. All I want is a rom that will update when the new android version comes out, I have had no updates yet with this rom so im not sure if it will ever update...
Should I even be changing the rom I have. I dont have any interest in the other roms available bar official and eu (fake official)

you can choose the Developer ROM, so probably u will get the Android Nougat before the other users.

until now i used zFont from play store for doing it. It works but every couple of hours wallpaper changes by itself. So, if someone has a permanent solution, please write here.
Please don't write "flash xiaomi eu" or something similar, my purpose is to have a solution for who has stock Global rom and bootloader locked (like wings team did on Samsung phones).

There's no way to do it, flash either a developer ROM or use Xiaomi.eu.
Though, rooting your smartphone could do it.

I was clear about it, i have a Global Developer, i know it is possible on xiaomi eu, i know it is possible with zFont, but wallpaper turn back to default one by itself.
I tried several ways, just curious to know if someone knows a different method.
The official ways to import an mtz is known.

Resetting wallpaper has been an issue on my Mi 9 on Global Stable which came with the device and on Global Dev which is running now. I need to set my wallpaper again and again, really unsatisfying and a major nuisance. And it's still present in the latest Global Dev 9.6.27 so I think nobody at Xiaomi seems to care about.

It appears that no English speaking developer has this phone. This is bad news, because even if you buy it and send it to your favorite developer, they will not be incentivized to do the work. The parent company, ZTE failed completely to market this phone as a global heavyweight that it is.
I still like the hardware and what Nubia is doing with the rom.

When I installed NA 1.16 for the first time, the problem was completely fixed. Then I rebooted the phone, and the problem came back. It looks like they tried to fix it. Maybe they will fix it in the next version of the rom.

Good afternoon, folks these days I've been talking to an assistant gives black shark (xiaomi) about the global rom, so he explained to me the "managers" and "supervisors" have the ROM that we want so much to convert our black shark at once 3 Chinese for a global. However, unfortunately, the wizard is not authorized to make ROM available. I know we have a method of installing the global beta via TWRP, but I don't know if you noticed, we can't get the otas via regular and also the L1 widevine support doesn't work due to the fact that we have to keep the BL unlocked (if lock the bootloader again it formats itself and goes back to the Chinese rom). So to have access to this ROM, we have to send emails requesting it for them, the more people requesting it, I believe that our demand will be met. It doesn't make sense for xiaomi to hold ROM in this way for us consumers.

I forgot the version since I reverted to Chinese ROM for testing purpose.

I fix here the problem, I revert back my backup and flash it. Delete your backup and make new one, remember to logout your mi account and make upload.... One question, your BS3 is 8GB RAM or 12GB ?

Nice bro, I can't fix it because it's your backup.
So will this finally allow me to change my bs3 to the Global firmware? Joyui12 messed up my Chinese firmware and now whatsapp and all the other apps that I got working by installing google service framework are not receiving notifications again.
There is another way though by using magisk, you can install gapps and use them.

Have you tried configuring the Permission and Autostart per Google apps and framework app and the your other apps?

I've actually never seen it listed for download. Most people want to get away from it because it's missing a lot. Is there a reason why you want to install it? There's better roms if you need another language besides English or Chinese.
