I have the ROG phone 2 strix edition. I love everything about it but there is one issue. during phone calls or calls using the fb messenger, the call volume is very low. I already have set the call volume in settings to max, but its still very low. but when i play music, watch videos or play games, the speakers are excellent. I hope someone can help. btw, my phone is not rooted.

Anyone else finding that no matter what type of headphones you plug in when making and receiving calls the minimum volume is still too loud. It is so loud that I got a ringing in my ears after trying for the first time! Presently I am not able to wear headphones for voice calls which is a problem when I am trying to use the phone for hands free when in a conference call. Interestingly the volume is fine for media use. Anyone get any ideas of how to lower the voice call volume level?
I have found this with my Redmi Note 4. There's nothing you can do without a rooted phone by the looks. I've contact Xiaomi support and they say the minimum volume is set by design. Well its a painful volume level with their own bloody headsets. Will be rooting and changing the config else i'll be looking for another phone.
You know that noise that you hear when you receive a text message with the phone on vibrate / silent / do not disturb?
It really does my head in when I'm watching a video or movie via youtube or media player. It's so loud even at a lower volume it's probably the most disturbing notification sound even when receiving a phone call too.
I hope you guys know what I mean but I can't seem to be able to turn it off.
I got a Huawei P9.
Hello,
I can't manage to lower the volume of video calls (I tried whatsapp and messenger so far).
It is very very loud.
I tried lowering media volume and calls volume but nothing happens.
Can you help me? It's very annoying I can't do video calls with such high volume
I have the same problem on Skype. Only solution is using a headset. But call using speaker is way too loud.
No one else affected???
Have same problem w/ hangouts voice calls, the minimum volume is not low enough. Its far better over wifi calling where the minimum speaker output is capable of being much lower.
same problem with Signal when on speakerphone. Adjusting volume doesn't seem to affect the speakerphone volume, or at least it does not go very low. My workaround is to disable speakerphone in the app and turn volume up.
It's happened to me on more than one occasion now and I am hoping someone on here can try and duplicate the issue I am having.
Scenario: When listening to music with the Buds and a call comes through.
Issue: The music turns off when I answer the call. After the call has ended, the music comes back on but at a reduced (and really low) volume. When I check the volume it's at the same level it was before the call but even if I turn it all the way up, I can barely hear anything.
My workaround: turn Bluetooth off and back on. This re-connects the Buds and the volume is back to normal.
My music app is poweramp. Phone is S10 (Exy).
Thanks in advance.
This happens to me every time someone is calling me in FB Messenger. I had to reconnect the buds for it be fixed. I encountered using both Samsung Music and Spotify. Can someone enlighten us?
Greetings
When my Note 9S notifications are on and I play a whatsapp voicenote, it plays the notification sound constantly during the playing of the voicenote, so you hear the note, but it beep beep beep during it.
However, if you put the phone in silent mode, it plays without the beep. However, it begins loud but seems to go soft 1sec later.
Newbie to the brand, its great so far - had it 4 days
Any help?
