The Xiaomi Note 4X can be modded to record video in 4K whatever sensor it has. (Sony IMX258 sensor or the Samsung S5K3L8.)
Since the Xiaomi Redmi 4X has the sensor Samsung S5K3L8 do you have a tutorial to root and mod it to have access to the recording of videos in 4K?

It would be great also to have the save of a "safe root" to put it back to the original state if there is any problem, thanks!

Call recording is a must feature for me due to nature of my profession. I am based out of india.
I have booked redmi k20 pro but i can still cancel the order.
I have compared with oneplus seven.
My requirement is call recording must.
Having gone through tonnes of posts still not clear whether -
1. Does MIUI ( i guess android modified for xiaomi) supports always native call recording?
If yes is it stored in cloud compulsory for synching?
2. Does OnePlus seven in india support call recording after android latest update which disabled call recording bcz of google.
Kindly clarify. Need to decide soon.

Both supports call recording 1+7 and k 20pro natively .
BTW i have 1+6 .
Yes k20p have a record function iirc during a voice call. Tho i never tried it, but the record button is there

Yes, K20 Pro (Indian version) has inbuilt call recorder. It can also automatically record your calls if you choose to do so.
And it does not sync to the cloud if you don't allow it to sync. Records are stored in your phone locally.
If you want native call recording and dont't want unlocking\flashing and so on - buy K20 Pro. CN Miui has this feature. If you will buy Mi 9t Pro you will need to unlock it and flash xiaomi.eu, for example, to have call recording feature.
Gallery face tagging not working
Besides the s20fe, I have an a10s, a71 and a s10plus, it works on them, but not on the s20fe. Do you know how to activate this function on the s20fe?
