Best International Note 9 Model for T-Mobile US?! - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Questions & Answers

Looking at possibly picking up a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 International Model for use on the T-Mobile US Network. It looks like the most compatible Variant is the N960F UK model - would someone be able to confirm if this is correct? Thanks for any help that may be sent my way.

n960f/ds is international unlocked. The complete continent of Europe has this model. ds varient has 2 sim card slots. if I were you I would inform yourself of the frequencies that tmo US uses and then compare that to the 960f model to make sure it works. I am American and I've used my 960f is US without issues. but still you should confirm that yourself

Difference Between All The SM-T817x Variants

Looking to get an SM-T817T to use on T-Mobile off of eBay, but they are much harder to come by than the SM-T817V.
Is there a difference (hardware-wise) between any of the SM-T817x variants? Also, are the variants locked to the specific carrier they are branded for or can they be unlocked?
Cant you just get the international GSM t815 or does that not cover the Tmobile bands?
i ordered my tab s2 via tmobile in germany and got a t815. i am not using a sim card, but i think it will work without a problem, since tmobile sent me the tab

Doesn't have LTE Band 12.
Does the T815 have telephony functionality? Or is it crippled like the T817?

Which Model to Buy

depends on where you live also. if you live in europe, dont go with the American model and so on 920C is the international model and it works fine in europe. 920CD is the dual sim model, I THINK 920T is the t-mobile variant, 920A is AT&T, 920P is sprint, 920V is verizon, 920R US Cellular.
9208 is the dual sim hong-kong version it seems

by all means, go for 920C since it gets the official firmware for pakistan if I recall correctly.
I was sure that 920C is the single sim variant and 920CD is the dual sim one.

Buying this Note 5 or not (Galaxy Note 5 128gb SK Telecom Band Lte)

Hi I would like to know what is the number of the model galaxy note 5 128gb SK Telecom Band Lte N920S or 920F and if
can I convert it to N920C or 920i or other and is there the root in this model Before buying sorry for my English:fingers-crossed:
Thank you.
I dont think you can convert from one model to another. N920S is rooted. Ive never seen a N920F before, not saying there isn't, I just haven't seen it. Personally, I would get the N920S because it's vastly supported with a lot of roms
Hi and thank you very much Then I buy it without hesitating
The SK note 5 only has 3 Lte bands as far as I know.. I would be careful

International Note 9 Questions...

I have a Note 9 on order from Rogers (Canada), but am interested in the dual-SIM, International Exynos version from eBay. Anyone know if the Exynos version supports Google Pay (one of the ads stated it didn't) or if there are other issues to consider when picking up an international, Exynos edition?
The key motivator for me is the dual-SIM. An unlocked bootloader would be good to have, but not necessary for my needs. Would the dual-SIM Snapdragon version offer any advantages?
N9600 should work in Canada and not the Exynos version due to LTE band support frequency.

Question AIO for the 998B/DS ?

I am in the United States and I have cricket, I just purchased the dual sim 998B/DS and I am not finding any ATT or AIO CSC for the phone. I am not able to get 5G over here on this phone so far so I am hoping somehow it would help with the cricket CSC. Maybe I am wrong, Cricket used the imei and swore it would work as well as Tmobile, neither sim cards allow 5g so far.
See at >Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G<.
There are huge differences between 5G bands support for the US and international versions.
So it doesn't surprise me at all that the inter-national model doesn't work in the US broadcasters' 5G bands.
I wasn't actually trying to surprise anyone, just seeing if anyone has a solution?
The problem is not in the phone and there is no way to replace hardware that does not support the US 5G band.
I read somewhere that in some models of Chinese devices it is possible to make a programmatic change in the hidden settings of the phone using a code entered in the phone's keypad. Try it.

The international Variant does not support the needed frequencies for 5G in USA - physically
There is no way to use 5G in US, without the Snapdragon Variant
Thanks
