What is the problem with double wifi, it should be automatically activated, isn't that correct? I thought that it always uses both 2.4 and 5GHz bands when you connect to the supported network.

I would have liked you to tell the truth, but not for impossible I have none of these parameters! and I am not the only one a topic already exists on this subject. with some it works and others don't!however we do have the same phone with the European version. I do not know is no response Realme on this subject is it frankly began to annoy me. just like the famous "4D"Vibration which must be activated in the Games is quite the same impossible is that it does not matter the games! I really regret this purchase for having been misled on the goods
Try to factory reset the phone. If this doesn't work, reinstall the OTA through ozip method.

I can't say about the 4d vibration because I never tried it, though it should be game dependent, and there's probably only a few games supported. However for the dual wifi there shouldn't be any parameters or options I think. When there's a dual band network you just connect to it normally and the phone should use both bands automatically.
I don't think 4d vibration is a dealer braker or a deal maker, just a gimmick anyway. Phone is great for me

Dual wifi doesn't refer to the use of 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands simultaneously, but to use two networks simultaneously to increase the speed. It can be enabled from wifi settings. (However I think is useless, because most people have only one wifi network. I think the dual use of wifi plus mobile data is useful, like what Samsung did some years ago, IDK if latest phones still have this feature)
whoa? why it became wifi issue with post? anyone have the same issue as mine? region?

Ah yes I just looked into it some more, it turns out both of us are correct. It means either connecting to both bands or two different networks.

Sorry for hijacking the thread. Have you tried searching for "region" keyword in settings? The first result is the option for changing the region for me.
its okay... even typing region in settings no result...

Are there two physical radios in the Tilt/TyTN II? I ask because I'm experiencing a strange problem that nobody else seems to have seen before. That, or nobody noticed my posts here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=335096
The problem is that phone/data work fine when the phone is in non-3G mode. (In the Comm Manager, available in most recent ROMs, I have disabled the 3G mode, so I'm using only GSM here in the US).
In 3G mode, I'll get a 3G icon (used to get an H, months ago), but will be unable to place/receive calls, and no data connections will be established -- they'll all time out or say that "the answering modem has disconnected."
So, back to my question: is it possible that my radio is partly damaged? Can that happen? I'm not sure how else to explain the utter lack of 3G on my phone.
can't have a damaged radio, you could have the wrong radio for the device and/or version of windows mobile. 3g only works if in 3g area, have it enabled and turned on through comm manager.also make sure you're network settings are correct and make sure phone is set to auto in networks tab in phone settings, not set to gsm/cdma
PS, the search tool/wiki are you're friends since this has been covered too many times

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, I've tried everything I can think of, and everything suggested. Nearly ever ROM I've seen, with nearly every radio; every combination of wap.cingular, isp.cingular, etc. The AT&T store thinks the phone is defective b/c they can't figure it out, either. In response to your comments: tried every version of windows mobile and most of the radios available; I'm very much in a HSDPA 3G area (used to get 5 bars "H" all the time); 3G is enabled; network settings are correct; phone is set to auto/auto.
Any other ideas, anyone? I appreciate it!
I've been have the same exact problem. I posted about it about a month and a half ago, but got nothing.
Everything worked perfectly until one day, out of nowhere, 3G stopped working for me. I've also tried multiple radios and ROMs and to no avail. The weird thing is that when it stopped working, nothing had been changed in months.
I know that I'm definitely in a 3G coverage area because I used to get 3G service all the time.
If I turn 3G on, it'll work in an edge only area, but as soon as it switches over to WCDMA, the problems occur.
This is super aggravating.

Well, the good part is, you're not alone. I found another forum online (can't remember where, I'm at work now and I found it last night) were several people were having the exact same problem -- in various countries around the world, including the US.
They had decent luck flashing the stock HTC ROM and then the French radio mentioned on the big XDA radio post (search google for "kaiser radio" and you should see it). However, I did the same and still have the 3G problem.
did you try using a shipped att rom and see if you still have this problem? if the problem goes away, then maybe its just a rom/radio mismatch problem. if it doesnt, then its more likely a hardware failure.
I'm in france, and since few days, i've the same problem, and i haven't change the radio. the phone is going for repair.

Yep -- I've tried going all the way back to the original ROM and radio. No go.

Can you keep us posted on what happens when it comes back? If it's really a hardware problem, many inquiring minds would love to know.
Bonne chance!

As mentioned in this thread, some shipments of the TyTN II have faulty hardware with broken 3G support.
No patch or driver update can fix this because it is a hardware problem. I experienced exactly the same issue with my first TyTN II and finally replaced it with a new device which works flawlessly out of the box.
I believe you should also better get your device replaced if you ever want to use 3G.

Version de protocole : 22.45.88.07H ===> not changed
are you saying you have gotten your phone back? is it working now?
Hi,
I recently updated to Froyo using the registry hack, i was on uk orange jf3 before.
Since being on it i have constantly been struggling with the 3g and the network signal, at first i thought the 3g was disconnecting when i turned the wifi on but then the network signal starting disappearing and it would show the circle symbol with the diagonal strike through it to show that it was not picking up any networks.
I read somewhere that cycling flight mode might solve the issue, but for some reason once i turn on/off flight mode it just hangs at that stage and will not change until after a restart.
I have also tried formatting both the internal and ext sd cards and i have done a factory reset twice.
Nothing has helped, it connects to 3g initially (which shows that it shouldn't be a setting problem?) and the network signal is also fine initially but then after a short amount of time or inactivity or switching on wifi the 3g won't connect and the network signal just dies.
If anyone has any ideas as to what is causing this or how to fix it i would really appreciate it.
Having a phone that can't make or receive calls when i need it to is really f'ing me off.
P.s. I have read and searched other topics for help on this but nothing so far has helped.
Might be something like I have? But I got no reply here...

Yer i read your post, what i don't understand is that it was totally fine in 2.1 and now in 2.2 it's messed up, not sure if that is the same for you?
I think it is something to do with it being for Norwegian users not UK and that somehow affects it.
I have checked the apn and it all seems correct, do you also have the issue with flight mode not working properly?
Just found this on an internet search...
: Samsung Galaxy S v2.2/Froyo update
Posted: 5 days ago in response to: stefan
Some news on the update to Android 2.2 for the Samsung Galaxy S. Currently we are making some changes to get it working better when using Orange signal, and are therefore looking to release the update by the end of November – obviously this is a delay on our original release date but we hope it will be worth the wait!
Kind Regards

Not sure exactly what that means but it sure sounds like this might be the problem i am having.
I would be interested to know if other UK orange users have been having problems?
I would also like to know if it is possible for me to go back to to a previous version so i can actually use my phone.
I am orange uk, and have similar problem at home, but works well at office. Maybe it is due to the barrier of signal. if the signal level is lower than this barrier, only emergency call can be.
I do not know how to do but my friend advised me to update the moderm
[email protected] all,
I'm interested in replacing my HTC Topaz with an O2X within the next two months.
A German Computer Magazine (Computer Bild) tested the phone (Test in German language) and had a connnection issue with the Phone to an in Germany often used WiFi Router (AVM Fritz!Box 7270 and 7390).
Just to make clear what they wrote to all who are not speaking German: In the 2nd sentence under the caption "Internet-Verbindung und Firmware" (internet connection and firmware) they said: "With already known WiFi-Networks it usual connects automatically, but in the test it refused the connection to the popular routers Fritz Box... at least with the firmware FRG83 which was the actual one during the test".
Is anyone of the O2X Owners online with the phone via an AVM Fritz!Box? Is there still an issue with the WiFi connection to these routers? This is important to me since I'm also using an AVM router and want to use the phone together with it.
Cheers
Zap
Works fine here but I'm connected via an 7170
Don't believe the Blödzeitung...
there's word floating around the net that some O2X have issues handling large passkeys on wireless networks. Maybe thats their issue as well

Thanks! Good to hear. I have a 7240 (the sister model of the 7270 which has no phone input jacks), it is a bit newer technology in comparison to the 7170 (had one, great stuff ), but the differences won't be THAT big I think...

He guys, you're right - but however, it was just to be safe regarding this issue, because:

I think this was the problem, maybe they've had set up the standard password of the Fritz!Box (that is usually written on the backside of the device, consisting of 16 letters/numbers) and which was too long for the O2X...
Well, conclusion: Better using a shorter password for the box and everything is fine...
Thanks to all!
I've Mi 9T Pro with MIUI 11 i also tried AOSP ROMs and MIUI 10-12. When i restart my phone mobile network is off and says "No Service" but after a while (sometimes 5 sometimes 30 mins later) mobile network becomes online. I tried everything i even replaced another IMEI but it still same. My SIM works on anothers phones perfectly, other SIMs are same on my phone. First i start using it i didnt care cuz i wasnt really restarting the phone but now some weird things happen. Like after network is on i can connect to LTE and use internet but cant call someone nor they can reach me. It is really weird and strange. If i did everything right IMEI should work perfectly which it does just not right away.
Quick note: I noticed that when im on AOSP ROMs network becomes online much faster but on MIUI it takes a lot longer.
What can i do ? Did anyone experienced something like this ? I started thinking there is something wrong with motherboard now.
EDIT: also forgot to mention that i went to a trip while ago and when im literally at the top of mountains my conection says no service really quick tho my friend with exact same phone with exact same carrier has 4G and can connect to internet even if his net goes he can make calls so
Hmm....stupid question: why do you need to reboot your phone? You shouldn't need to do that but maybe once a week to keep things speedy.

i dont need to do that. I like going around and testing magisk modules new ROMs etc. so i probably restart a lot often than usual user XD but the problem isnt that, i didnt have much problem with this, like i said sometimes even if network is on i cant call anyone but can connect to internet thats what bothers me TBH
I've got a Question, I have the Mi 11 Ultra China variant with 8 GB RAM, unlocked bootloader and the official EU Stock Rom.
I noticed that in games even if they are low quality games with low graphics, they are some random Sound Lags.
They appear also with headphones so I suggest this is a Software problem.
I also had that problem with locked bootloader and the official China ROM, so does anyone have or noticed this lag too or I'am the only one?
Edit:
I found the Problem, If I play any games with WiFi turned on, the Sound starts lagging after some seconds , but with mobile data, everthing works perfectly.
Any solutions for that? I tried different WiFi connections and it only happens with WiFi turned on.

I dont think so, every app uses mobile data or WiFi, depending on what if have turned on
This seems for me like a Bad connection, but my Phone is the only device atm and I had never such problems like this in the past with my Phones

Okay so it only happens when you play online? Like with other people on a server? If that's the case i would guess you have a bad internet or wifi connection. So the phone wouldn't be the problem.

Even in Games that have no online play, just Serversided, I got those Lags and in offline games too.
And I know that I have got a very good connection in my country so that wouldn't be the case.
The phone itself is also new so the phone is not the problem, Software I would say
The thing is, my mobile data Connection is worse than my wifi connection.
It is not really the best, just for WhatsApp and so on
I'm out of ideas. I googled a little and other people who had such problems had either bad net latency or something running in the background. I agree that it seems to be some software problem but it's strange that it only happens with active WiFi.
I think it's Software related because my gf got the Mi10 and she has no Problems with WiFi connection turned on.
Let's hope that this will be fixed in the future.
I will Report that to xiaomi.
If someone finds a solutions, they can share them here.
So little Update from me,
Some of my Games that I play had an Update and all of them which had that Sound Problem with WiFi turned on have been fixed.
So NOW I would say it's a third Party App Problem or maybe a Android 11 compatibility Problem with some newer Devices.
