I have a concern. I recently figured out that with magisk. I was trying to install apk files with xposed enabled (no modules enabled/installed) and it always said the apk was corrupted. I disabled xposed right after I discovered it, and the apk could install. I wonder if there could be a fix for this. Thank you and have a good day!

Hi all
I have used xposed for a long time now, but I noticed something strange lately.
My setup:
Oneplus One without Gapps, with Magisk and Xposed, Android 6.0.1 Sultan ROM.
Xposed reports the framework v.87.0 systemless by topjohnwu is installed but not active.
However, my xposed modules (deny location consent, fakegapps, greenify, magnet sensor control, statusbar headset icon) seem to work perfectely.
I already checked, if there is a disabled file, but could not find one.
I already did reboots, disabled xposed&rebooted, enabled xposed&rebooted, reinstalled v87.0 sdk 23 from topjohnwu, but no change.
The yellow sign wont go.
I noticed something strange:
I wanted to update my busybox inside system/xbin, but was not able to remove it, even with root explorer I could not delete the 22 (?) Mb busybox file in system/xbin.
Magisk seems to work fine though.
I then uninstalled all busybox installation apps and installed the busybox module from Magisk.
Could you help me getting proper xposed?
Or is this an error?
xposed log:
https://pastebin.com/XVP0UGim
I installed xposed through magisk and everything worked fine, I installed modules and they worked, but after a reboot the modules list in xposed is suddenly empty. in xposed I get the following log:
Code:
Unable to open /vendor/framework/oat/arm to prepare apps for Xposed: Permission denied
Unable to open /vendor/framework/oat/arm64 to prepare apps for Xposed: Permission denied
I was wondering if anyone else is using xposed and got similar errors, or even has a solution?
Edit: Turns out the cause was a (self made, very old) xposed module that somehow broke all the others - removing this fixed it.
@Abomb - Just curious, are you running Xposed on Oreo or Nougat? - TIA
I'm running Xposed on Oreo (through magisk)
@Abomb i'm using Oreo V 11.0 based Rom & Unable to install Xposed Module with Riru V 23.3 By Rikka
My device Poco f1 8GB 256 GB i install google pixel experience rom via twrp but i can't install xposed module
So here's what happened:
I installed a new rom: Google wiz 44. A touchwiz based Android 8.0 rom. It has magisk pre-installed. In magisk, I get the systemless xposed SDK26 module. It installs fine but after reboot there is no Xposed installer APK. To fix this I also install the normal Xposed module from magisk repo. This gets me the Xposed installer APK and after a reboot it detects Xposed is installed. The problem now is I cannot uninstall Xposed framework even with the uninstaller zip. I have tried removing the sdk26 Xposed from magisk but it doesn't uninstall Xposed. Can't pass saftynet.
If you'd have read the documentation for the Xposed module, or the OP of the Systemless Xposed support thread, you'd have seen that you need to install the modified installer for that module manually.
Now, the question is what you mean by the "normal Xposed module from magisk repo". Do you mean the Unity version? Because that's also a systemless Xposed version, just by a different creator...
So now you have two systemless Xposed modules installed? That sounds like it could cause problems...
You can't use the Xposed uninstaller zip for a Magisk systemless Xposed module. It won't recognise it. Since it sounds like you've installed everything through Magisk, you can uninstall through Magisk. When you say you've tried and it doesn't work, what do you mean? Have you gone to the modules section of the Magisk Manager and pressed the trash bin icon next to the module you want to remove and then rebooted? More details, please...
And lastly, you can never pass SafetyNet with Xposed installed and active.
@benvrakas, maybe try the UNITY installer. It acts as an installer, uninstaller, and upgrader.
Flash it and pay attention to the output. It'll tell you what it's doing.
If it installs on first flash, flash it again for an uninstall. Hopefully it'll remove things successfully. Just another option.

Xposed Framework [UNITY]
Maybe this more involved method may work.

Moto G5S Plus XT1806, FireHound v4.5 ROM, MultiROM, Tapatalk 4.9.5
OnePlus 7 Pro - 10.3.0
Magisk: 20.2
Magisk Manager: 7.5.0
EdXposed Manger: 4.5.3
Riru EdXposed: v0.4.6.0_beta(4471)(YAHFA)
Riru - Core: v19.5
So here's the breakdown, everything installed fine, Magisk and all SafetyNet test pass. Root checker passes. EdXposed shows a blue check saying that it's active.
I've installed Magisk Modules and they work as they should. But any EdXposed module i install installs correctly some I can even open the APK but they do not function. With the new Android Q GravityBox, it says that the framework is not responding meaning the apk doesn't see that the Xposed module is installed.
So far I've tried reinstalling Magisk, reinstalling EdXposed and nothing seems to work.
Anything anyone can think of that might fix this.
EDIT: Figured it out. Installed the latest Canary of EdXposed and that fixed it.
What was exactly this canary version?
Hello everyone. I have a Samsung S20. I wish I could install edxsposed framework to install various modules. I rooted my device, installed riru v.26.1.4, but when I try to install edxposed vers. 0.5.2 gives me error saying riru is not installed.
I tried to install the version of riru vers. 25.0 and at that point edxposed installs it for me but crashes when starting the app.
I have android version 13. Can you help me please? thanks a lot to everyone
