Hi everyone,
I have a big issue with the xiaomi.eu Miui 12 20.7.2 and other after this...
After install in my phone (Mi 8) I dont have access sim card. Is like that I dont have any sim card. And no wifi to.
I've done first a dirty install and after a clean install but the problem continued.
After I was rollback to the 20.6.18 version where all works fine! if I upgrade again the problem still the same...
What can I do?
Thanks
Same issue
Hi, I have the same issue, in my case that issue started once I installed Miui 12 20.07.16. I tried installing other ROMs without fix this problem, I will wait until they deliver a new version waiting they solve this problem.
Which TWRP did you use to flash the rom?
I don't think it is a software problem if you have the following symptoms, No WiFi but Bluetooth, no service but detect SIM card, random reboots out of nowhere or when trying to turn on WiFi, unknown baseband and it gets hot, apparently it is a processor SoC solder problem

Hy guys,
I'm facing some issues with my Z3C. I bought it 2 weeks ago, unlocked bootloader, installed twrp, flashed CyanogenMod 12.1 Nightly on day 3. Updated CM twice with OTA since then.
My problem is that the "sim" card (GSM/LTE) is randomly not noticed by my phone, like if its removed. I checked the sim tray, everything is stable and well seated, the sim is also OK, never had an issue with it. I just have it in my pocket or on the desk, pick it up to do something and there is already a No SIM icon on the status bar, and "Emergency calls only" If I lock the phone. Only a restart solves it.
I could not find any noticeable trigger which would lead me to the source of the problem. Sometimes its OK for 2 days sometimes it happens 2 times a day. The really frustrating part is that when the sim "disconnects" the phone starts to heat up significantly. I usually only notice it because my phone is burning my pocket. Also it looses around 20% battery before I notice it. After the restart everything is fine, the phone cools down.
Went to the Cyanogen forums for some possible solution for the problem, they suggested that I should try to update my baseband to the latest version, and if that still doesn't help, do a full wipe / clean install of CM nightly. I tried downloading the latest firmware using FlashTool and XperiFirm, creating an ftf, and flashing only AMSS_FSG, AMSS_FS1, AMSS_FS2 included into the flash ( I only wan't to flash the baseband ?!?).
My question would be: Anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it somehow? If not, anyone could please help me with a small guide how to ONLY update the baseband of my Z3C (D 5803) running CM 12.1 nightly on twrp recovery?
When I tried the flash above, my baseband version did not change. Currently I'm on "8974-AAAAANAZQ-00005-40" Baseband version, and I would like to move to the latest most stable one.
Thanks for the help in advance!
If it were my Z3c, I would flash back to stock completely and then reflash with Cyanogen. This is a device on which you have the freedom to do that, and that gets the job done safely. Backup your CM install, and then flash everything.
hi, my xiaomi mi5 32gb/3gb ram had android 6(no ideea about version) and unlocked bootloader, bought from china with european version of the rom, gapps installed.
everything worked perfectly, no drops in signal, nothing to complain.
i updated to MIUI 8 Android 7 official and after that the signal dissapeared, the only moment i had signal was when i put a new simcard in the phone, and only for 2 minutes.
Then i flashed with XiaoMiFlash : gemini_global_images_V8.2.2.0.NAAMIEB_20170407.0000.00_7.0_global_95e92d22eb
-- the problem stays: no service/emergency calls only.
i have good 3G 3-4bars/4G sometimes, when it comes to signal in this location.
nothing helped.
flashing xiaomi-miui-hellas-7.0_gemini_V8_XTRV_7.4.20 with TWRP Recovery also didn't help my problem
Now i am with a phone with no signal, could you please give me some help to solve this?
i've seen a lot of people in this situation on forums, so a solution would be very good.
Perhaps the settings from the *#*#4636#*#* Hidden MENU, this way i would do it the way it is on a working phone.
Thanks, greetings. Dan
Hello, I was using lineage Os latest nightly when I encountered this issue. I wanted d2w. So I flashed Zurion X. Phone rebooted to TWRP. So I flashed recankut kernel. Phone worked. But I noticed that it started showing no sim card. I tried flashing Lineage Os back and nothing. So I flashed MIUI latest global beta via fast boot. No SIM card issue persists.. Now Im beginning to think that the issue is hardware issue.. I dissembled the phone.. But the sim card connectors seems to be OK for naked eye.. MY phones I will is not affected, neither the baseband.. So I'm out of options now. Can someone suggest me a workaround to bring my phone back to life.
Thanks.
Also it seems that I can make emergency calls.. Which means the radio I working

It was my sim card tray.. The lower right coner of the sim tray was broken and it interfered with the sim card identification mechanism. With a new simple card tray my phone is fixed.
If the SIM card tray is damaged (for example, a piece of plastic is chipped off or a metal plate is deformed), this can be the cause of the problem when the Xiaomi smartphone does not see the SIM card.
I had such a situation on my Mi 3. In the service center they could not find the cause of the problem, I found it myself.
I hope this information will help to somebody.
Hi, may I ask for your help and opinion? My new Realme X2 Pro is rebooting on its own. Not until after C.31 update I found out that Connecting to 4G is causing it. Yesterday after installing the update I inserted the sim the phone recognized the network and I checked if the sim is LTE ready and after a minute the phone freezes then reboots so I removed the simcard again then the phone work fine for the whole night then I inserted the simcard again in the morning then the phone reboots so I tried switching to 3G and the phone hasn't malfunctioned yet. What do you think? Is it a software or a hardware problem? Thank you
Update: I tried to download again and reinstall software update C.31 it didnt fix the issue.
Hi everyone,
My phone (Redmi Note 10 5G China, camellia) was lost baseband a week ago for no reason. The phone lost signal when I saw, and can't read SIM card 1 hour later. After reboot, baseband version in setting turned to unknown. The MIUI version when this problem occurs is 13.0.9. I tried to flash MIUI to the version at the time of the problem and older version (13.0.3 and 13.0.8) to repair baseband followed with tutorial on internet but had no effect.
When I flashed MIUI 13.0.4 and try to startup, the phone turn to black screen after the Redmi logo appears about 10 secs later, and then nothing happens.
The same problem happened to this phone half year ago. At that time, there was magisk in the system and I think magisk destroyed system and tried to flash to repair the system. Finally, baseband was repaired by flash MIUI 13.0.4, but baseband will lose by reboot, so I flashed again, it was solved. But a month later the same problem happened again, but it only lasted a day, and the next day it repaired itself, in the meantime, I'm just using my phone as before. About a month later I upgraded to MIUI 13.0.9 and didn't occur any problem. At that time, as long as this fault occurred, flash MIUI 13.0.4 could always solve it.
Did the failure occur on the motherboard or just is a software problem like before? If there is no hardware problem, how to solve the problem completely?
Sure Is not a magisk problem . And i dont think is related to board, or a new flash dont solve. I think Baseband is related to kernel. Probably latest update have some bugs. Or more probably u have made a wrong flash procedure. If u put the sim on second slot have same issue?
